We love everything about the property. The location is perfect. it was at the center of everywhere we needed to go. From the shopping mall to the beach. Thanks for the free Christmas dinner on 24th night. It was superb. We’ll be back soon

I don’t like the fact that the gym opens at 9am which I consider very late. Gym opens at 6am to enable guest exercise a bit before taking breakfast.

Receptionist tried to give a lower room for us saying there was 'an error', but as my husband is native speaker and didn't agree with it he then still 'found' the originally booked room. We booked 2 rooms and unfortunately they were as far from each other as possible - in 2 different wings. So for us moving around the hotel was quite uncomfortable as to get from one wing to another one must use elevator and go through some floor and then need to use elevator again. And as elevator maximum limit was 3 persons, but we had 2 groups of people, we had to wait frequently in que among other guests to get to the same place. And of course as name is 'Angra Beach Hotel' I expected it to be close to the beach, but it is not.

Breakfast was good. The room was really big with a kitchenette and they offer a transfer to a private beach. There staffs taking care of the cars 24hs

It was low season so at the hotel private beach they were a construction site by the beach and they were renewing the deck but the beach was clean and beautiful. I bet it is worth going back in the high season.

Great value for money, spacious room, good breakfast, private beach with shuttle service. Perfection!

They gave a cmplimentary dinner for Christmas, that we appreciated. The private beach and transfer is very good. The room was very spacious.

The lift: it took ages every time. Flush pressure in the bathroom was very weak.

The flat was excellent, very comfortable, the toilet was spotless.

There wasn't mini bar in the room neither room service after 21pm. The lobby was very hot.

Spacious, well equipped apartments with nice balconies. Super clean. Great little pool.

The breakfast was disappointing. Wet scrambled eggs, no granola, cheap juice and generally a sense the hotel was doing the bare minimum.

At least one of the reviews mentioned a private beach and the very name of the “hotel” suggests it’s on the beach, or at least close. It’s not close to any beach. Not really even a close walk to a beach. It also isn’t exactly a hotel. These appear to be private residences that have a common management that sort of runs it like a hotel. Not necessarily a knock on the property. It’s nice enough & there are even some advantages (kitchenette), but it’s just a bit misrepresented.

Breakfast was great. Very clean and organized on top of hotel. Nice out door air. Close to town and also the high way to other cities. Very safe and with closed parking and valet.

Bathrooms were a little small. There are no outlet plugs for charging phone and computer on top of bed tables. There are only outlets under the tables where you need to get on your knees to plug into.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Liked the room.

Distance city centre and beaches but taxi is quick.

The rooms look beautiful and are very big, a lot of space. The private beach belonging to the hotel is also great, totally worh visiting. Hotel is well located, just 700m from the bus terminal and if you are doing trips from the Santa Luzia station in can always walk to it, it took me less than 30 minutes by feet and the way is nice. I did it three times. The food in the restaurant was good, although there was not a lot of options. Staff was helpful and towels and bad amenities were handled/replaced daily. Great balcony in the room.

The room was extremely noisy. The first night I had to call the reception almost 1 o'clock in the night to check the noise from other rooms or from the upper floor. I was in the 5th and above was the restaurant, simply terrible. If you are assigned a room in the 5th floor immediately ask for another one. The guests on my floor were terrible, made party all the time with music in high volume and slamming doors all the time (the doors are extremely loud by the way). The breakfast was ok but in the first two days the doors were opened and there were a lot of flies. Nothing covered. Totally disgusting both the environment and the food in this situation. But the food itself was ok, although there was not a lot of variety. The dinner buffet was also ok, but calling it a buffet is exaggerated. The food was delicious, but definitely not worth the price. Towels and sheets had a lot of spots, gives the impression of things not well cared or that the staff itself doesn't care about it. The walls also had spots. Although the room is huge, the bathroom is tiny. Really difficult to understand. And accessibility is a problem here. The reception is located in the first floor (garage is on the ground). Although there is an elevator from the garage that gives access to reception I was immediately instructed to go upstairs with my baggage. Terrible. Finally the tables in the restaurant are not comfortable at all. My legs were always hurting there. And the gym is also not welcoming. I wanted to use it, but when I saw i gave up.

They didnt give the room a cleanup when we came back for our second night, in stead we found rests of somebody's lunch in our room and dirty dishes. First night the airco failed, and the airco made cracking noises and was leaking water. The shower was not hot. Breakfast was served without cutlery. The place doesnt look like the photos..
