Nice spacious clean room. Not ultra modern, but bed large and comfortable, tea and coffee, TV and recently refurbished ensuite. Proprietors friendly and helpful Although a little out of town, there's a pub and two restaurants a short stone's throw away.

I couldn't get the key token to work on the pad on the front door lock, which meant an embarrassing disturbance to one of the proprietors in the early hours. Other than that, a smooth problem free stay

Friendly staff, great price, very close to the train station, comfortable bed. Sink, and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Was no noise of road traffic in the room despite being just off a fairly busy road.

There wasn't really anything I disliked, there was some roadwork going on nearby but nothing to do with the property. There were carpeted stairs and a corridor between the room and bathroom facilities so this may not be the best place to stay for someone with mobility issues.

Very polite staff, who were friendly and very helpful. They accommodated my vegan diet, which I'm very happy to see. Very nice room, great bathroom. Coffee and tea available in the room. Very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was perfect, thank you for offering vegan option with the oat milk and veggie sausages :) Very happy with stay.

spotless room good pillow and bedding. bfast v good sausage needed bit more cooking for me.

no ensuite was a shame but overall i will return

Everything, host was very friendly and courteous. I had the ensuite room which was a big room, with big TV and very comfortable. I opted to pay a very responsible £5 for breakfast in the morning, which I couldn't fault. The location is 5 minutes walk from the train station.

Nothing I didn't like.

I didn’t order breakfast so I can’t comment on that… however this hotel exceeded my expectations! Very polite staff, very clean hotel, really comfy beds and decent facilities! Definitely recommend and will be staying there next time I trip to Norwich :)

Only slightly negative was the thin wall to the adjoining room- but that was more a problem of someone having their TV cranked up too loud!

the room could have smelled a little more neutral in my opinion, it had a strong scent like potpourri. Very minor issue though.

Breakfast was brilliant! The lady there was lovely and quickly responded to my requests for hairdryer, iron and a later check out.

Room was very small and old fashioned decor.

The staff were friendly and helpful without intruding. The premises were clean and quiet and within easy walking distance of the centre of the old town.

Decor in the room was a bit sparse.

The only think I did not like is that they do not give any info about breakfast at time of booking.Including the charge.I reckon that it can create doubts regarding the charge applicability depending on rate paid.It would be better policy to state the breakfast charge at time of booking.
