Such a great hostel!! The staff are so friendly and accommodating and are great for information and recommendations. Most staff also speak English too. The beds are comfortable and large lockers provided in the dorm room so you can lock your whole backpack away. Walking distance to town and to the metro. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was lovely, the bed was comfortable. The hostel was great, about 30minute walk to main plaza.

The shower was unpredictable.

The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. The whole hostel is set up really nice, with great common areas and places to chill out. Breakfast every morning was amazing. In a quiet street, but a short walk to lots of restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay here.

rooms are a bit rickety. the bathroom door was super squeaky and the shower didn’t drain properly so whenever I would shower it would accumulate and cover my feet. no good ventilation either so after taking a shower the room gets a bit musty. also whenever I would turn the heater on it would get unbearably hot and there was no way to lower the heat setting to something reasonable

The location is great, staff is very friendly and the breakfast was awesome. We had to leave for a tour early in the morning and they packed breakfast for us.

The hostel is situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood in Bellavista. It has a cosy courtyard and a relaxed atmosphere. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We felt like at home and were sorry to leave.

I loved this hostal. it’s got a really chilled, friendly and spacious communal area. The dorms are clean and the beds are really comfy. The breakfast is really good. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The location is also good - easy to get to from the metro and on a nice street.

I liked this place so much the first time I stayed that I cancelled a different reservation elsewhere and rebooked (if they were available) for here during my various transit days in Santiago. The rooms are a great value, everything is so clean, the common space is comfortable and home-y, the location is great, there’s a cute little cafe attached, and all the staff I interacted w/ were super friendly and helpful. This would be my first choice if I ever came back to Santiago.

Hostal Tambo Verde is a little oasis of calm in Santiago - a city which can certainly get a bit hectic at times! Having a mix of dormitory and private rooms means a lovely mix of visitors of all ages and origins. The attractive central courtyard and indoor area are a natural place to chat to other travellers, particularly if you are traveling solo. The front door is kept locked at all times, but you don't have to think about taking a key out with you as the reception is staffed 24 hours a day. The owner and staff are all lovely too, and can't do enough to help. Highly recommended!

Having to leave at the end of my stay!

Stop searching for another accommodation and book Tambo Verde. The entire place is super beautiful and cute and has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. the room was perfect and neat, the bathroom pretty and clean and we had a cute balcony with Mountain View. the breakfast is super fresh, filling and tasty (home made bread and fresh pressed juice!) and the staff was really helpful and friendly. the location was perfect too, close to many neighborhoods of interest but calm at the same time. We would always book again if we got to return to Santiago.
