Formosa Apartment: A Wonderful Holiday in the Heart of Gorgeous Venice
Schön und gemütlich Formosa Wohnung ist nur 5 min zu Fuß von S. Markusplatz und die Rialto-Brücke. Es ist nur wenige Schritte von Santa Maria Formosa einer der charakteristischsten Platz in Venedig, in einem typisch venezianischen Gebäude. Vor kurzem wurde die Wohnung, von ca. 50 m², in einem großen offenen Raum mit Küche und Wohnzimmer (mit hohen Holzbalken Decke), Sat-TV, Internet Wifi und Doppelschlafcouch. Die Küche ist mit Kühlschrank und Gefriertruhe, Gasherd, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspülmaschine ausgestattet. Die Haupt-Schlafzimmer hat ein King-Size-Bett, großer Kleiderschrank. Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Waschmaschine. Sehr originell und renommierten Decken durch eine Fachwerkstruktur dargestellt. Parkettboden. Klimaanlage, Ventilator und Kinderbett auf Anfrage erhältlich. Alle Zimmer sind sehr hell, wie er von mehreren Fenstern beleuchtet. Supermarkt, Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bars, Pubs, nur in der Nähe.
Shopping: Wir sind gleich um die Ecke von einer venezianischen Supermarkt, weniger als 1 min zu Fuß entfernt. Einkauf für Nahrung könnte nicht einfacher sein. Wenn Sie frische Lebensmittel auf die sehr berühmte Rialto Mercato gehen täglich ein Lebensmittelmarkt (nicht Sonntag) mit nur gefischt Fisch, frisches Obst und Gemüse direkt an der Rialto-Brücke vollgestopft. In der Nähe der Wohnung gibt es verschiedene andere kleine Food-Läden rund um, wo Sie kaufen Fleisch, Käse, Brot usw. verstreut Das wird ein interessanter obwohl herausfordernd Einkaufserlebnis als im Supermarkt sein. Hier finden Sie viele Edelboutiquen Antike und Souvenirläden.

Brigitte met us at a piazza around the corner, escorted us the apartment, and showed us what we needed to know about the apartment.
This clean apartment is up three flights of stairs but so is the majority of Venice. Plenty of space for two adults. Separate AC mini-split units for the living room/kitchen and bedroom was very nice. It is located at the of a dead end, so you could sleep with the windows open and not worry about a lot of noise outside. A grocery store is just around the corner but if you don't want to cook check out Ristorante ai Barbicani and hit up Gelateria Gallonetto for dessert, all three being less than a two minute walk away.

The apartment was amazing, wonderful location, close to Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. Rooms were quite roomy for an historic region in Venice. Check in process was excellent with host arranging someone to meet us, take us to the apartment and show us the challenges of operating various equipment in the apartment. Please note, if you have mobility issues, there are many flights of stairs.

Very special apartment with unique old atmosphere from beams. Nice view from windows. Very comfortable! Location is very privilege. There is a nice restaurant close by, not touristy, very good service and excellent food. And situated right on a canal. Ask the lady about this restaurant at a check in time. Go there! If you walk from Rielto bridge, that would be a street before your street on the left. Walk there and almost at the canal bridge the restaurant is on your right. Blinking lights outside are there. Really good place! So, combination of good accommodation, location and the restoran suggestion made my experience in Venice 5 stars.

this apartment is very central to lots of wonderful sights in Venice. It is a little shabby. It's clean but the furniture is minimal and not in good shape. The apartment was a very nice size and the kitchen was adequate for minimal use. The are 50 stairs to get to the apartment. it is not for the faint of heart!!! The host was good about check in. They met us and took us to the apartment. She actually lugged my bag up the stairs for me. That was very nice.

The apartment is lovely and in a perfect central location. Although Venice was hot during our visit, the AC was adequate and kept us comfortable.
The building entry and stair is a bit shabby - and remember it is a 3-story climb - but the unit is terrific, quiet and clean.

We loved this spot! It was in the heart of everything, but when you turn into your little lane, you see the lives of real Venetians going about their business. There is a climb to the top, but then you can look out and see the glorious rooftops of Venice. The spacious bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds are just the beginning. The truly great part is the kind and hospitable hosts who make sure everything is good and also explain Venice to you. We slept three people quite comfortably and just loved this magical hideaway over the rooftops of Venice, one of the most beautiful places on earth.

The apartment was a very nice one bedroom. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was also large. My main issue was the water heating system that was uncontrollable. It was not possible to control the water temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. The owner had left instructions but they were useless. Also, during my 4 night stay, I had to buy garbage bags, dish-washing liquid, laundry soap, and even toilet paper; all of which I donated to the owner when I left.The 4 flights of stairs weren't fun either.

The apartment is clean and comfortable. It is well situated for visiting all of the sights of Venice. There are essentials for cooking simple meals. Our only complaint was the many steep, narrow stairs to access the apartment which made it very difficult for two seniors. It should really be much more clear in the description that the apartment is not accessible for anyone with mobility issues.

The apartment is very centrally located, and walking to a near unlimited number of shops and restaurants is a breeze. Our greeter, Arrigo, was very helpful! He went out of his way to meet us at Rialto Dock when our Google Maps refused to work upon arrival. He also provided us with many recommendations- which we greatly appreciated. Yes, there are stairs - quite a few, which made our large luggage a bit difficult, but not really a problem. And as others have noted, we could not figure out the washing machine - at all. But again, not really a big deal. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would happily stay here again!

This spot is close to Rialto (vaporetto), Basicilla, and lots of shopping and restaurants. Be prepared for lots of steps to the fourth floor, which we weren’t. Would have been okay if we had not over-packed our bags. Overall a great stay!

The person welcoming us was very friendly and helpful.
The apartment is centrally located, with convenient access to all the sights and the train station. It is just one building behind a busy walking area with shops and restaurants, but facing an inner courtyard, so nice and quiet.
The kitchen had everything needed and the beds were super comfortable.
We would definitely stay again. However, the apartment may not be suitable for someone who has trouble with stairs. The apartment is located on the fourth floor (four flights of stairs) and the building does not have an elevator.

They tried to charge extra money (cash only) for us to check in. Then we missed our connecting flight and came in late and they wouldn’t let us into the apartment until the following afternoon even though we had paid for the entire previous day. They don’t care about the renters. They only care about making money.

To many steps.
To many steps hall was dark and hard to navigate, Towel heater was dirty our towels came off dirty when we hung them there. Hard to use stove kept turning off. No instructions on how to use washer. Two people in our party had asthma attacks when in side apartment .Pillows were horrible flat, flat, FLAT. Location was a plus close to stores and restaurant.

Very nice place to stay in Venice
We stayed here 10 nights and were comfortable, safe and clean every night. There is plenty of space for 2 people espcially with the way the apartment is laid out. Whoever finished these rooms did a great job. There are nice new windows, appliances, and furniture as well as craftsman carpentry throughout. Everything you need for cooking is there and in good shape-plenty of dishes, pots and pans, etc. When we asked for a new spatchela the owner sent us 2. The american style coffee maker was very welcome and a very nice one too. We brought our own Starbucks ground coffee though, as we are not fans of what is available in Italy. We really enjoyed breakfast with the coffee we usually have and at the price we are used to at that. The dishwashere was very much appreciated and in general worked well. Most of our meals were prepared and eaten in as we are do not appreciate the tourist-Italian food available at most reataurants. Also we can control nutrition if we do it ourself. We also took advantage of the clothes washer albeit the drying was done inside on a nice clothes drying rack. The location was espcially nice, we thought. It is on a very quiet street half way between San Marco and the Rialto bridge. Another bonus is it is a 2 min walk to a nice Coop grocery. We go to venice every year and will certainly keep this property near if not on the top of our list of rentals.

This is probably true of any property in the area, but would have been even better if we could have just separated our disposed items into different bins and had the removal handled as part of the cleaning fee. Just a minor thing, and certainly not worth taking away a star. Great property and and we really enjoyed our stay!

The apartment had a nice layout and was cozy. Everything worked and the bathroom was great! I was happy to be in a bathroom that had room to move around.
We were late arriving but were still greeted in a friendly manner and taken to the apartment. There are 55 steps up to it but we didn't mind (once we got the suitcase up there). Good location and we loved the island.
