good location. very close to train station
there is no desk or anyone to greet you. i wanted to leave my suitcase at the hotel for the day after my stay - which i have always been able to do at every previous hotel i have ever stayed at. but there was no desk or receptionist or staff anywhere for me to ask if this was possible. i was provided with 2 contact numbers which i rang repeatedly so that i could speak to them about leaving my suitcase somewhere but they did not pick up. it is inaccurate to say the service was poor - because the service was non existent. i had to book luggage storage on the high street which added cost + unnecessary time/hassle to my day
also the shower was very run down and horribly stained
there was no breakfast so i don't know why i am being asked to comment on breakfast

Although the premises wasn't particularly great in comparison to other main hotels I have stayed at, it was excellent value for money and probably the comfiest bed I have slept in compared to other hotels.
I felt the place was a little run down but again reflected in the great value. Room was just what was needed, a bed, shower and complimentary coffees etc.

Access to many shops train stations and office buildings
Noisy. If someone opens the rooms main entrance door then you can hear it. Walking on the stairs is clearly audible and disturbs the sleep.

position. it is very central close to train station. rooms clean. entering building easy.
the stairs were a bit steep. not a problem for us though.

The location was great! We had the opportunity to store our luggage in a safe place after the check out.
The sofa bed was in a very bad condition and our son stayed in another place the second night because he couldn't sleep on that sofa...
Although the bed sheets were clean, the carpet was old and dirty.
The communication through booking messages was very difficult as they didn't unswer and we should call them.
The plugs suddenly didn't have electricity and it was fixed only when we told them!

although the room was so tiny but clean and comfortable in somehow....
wifi was good
staff were so helpful especially the lady called Ranni.
rooms will be much better if it is a bit bigger
price high compared with the room size and services
but at the end, I am happy to stay next time with them if I visit Reading again

Well, this loction no longer does breakfast but I just had a coffee and pastry at the railway station. The location was the best part, it was within sight of the railway station and that was good for someone on a tight timetable. The contact number was useful as I had to ask for directions and the person who answered was very helpful.
The fact there was no breakfast needs to be made clearer, I had to ring up to find that out.

the rooms were very clean and the location is good.
This is not a bed and breakfast as advertised. There’s a door with a code and a staircase. I didn’t see anyone else in the time I was there. There’s no reception. There is no breakfast so it’s categorised incorrectly on Booking.com. It’s not what was advertised so it is unnerving. it’s in a part of town which is a bit creepy on a night.

this was an ‘emergency’ stay on 25th Dec at 23:00 due to my transport plans failing, it was the perfect solution - the owner picked up the phone quickly even at this time of night, sent me the room code in minutes and was very accommodating and nice, making sure i got all i needed for such unplanned stop.
the location is ideal right next to station but very quiet - i had a good sleep. the room was warm and very clean. pleasant place overall. basic but great value for money, shower was hot and good pressure. basic cafe and tea options

The overall decor was tired, dated and in need of a good clean.
The TV did not work, with no staff around there was no one to go to.
The price included breakfast but no details on where to get it from so I left hungry.

It is wrong - for the tiny tiny room - to cost £80, without making any effort put in for the basic upkeep. Neglected property, with no intent to clean. Lots of dust. Remote control batteries dead, long time ago.
