Our second trip to this property but our first time in this unit. The unit as very spacious. We only had 4 people but there was plenty of room for more! The condo was clean and ready upon arrival. Proximity to the elevator and parking area was great for my elderly mother as well. We love the Destin West condos as there is a great pool and lazy river (bring a cup with a lid for the pool area as security is STRICT on that). The kids love going out to the bay area to look for crabs and fish. We had a large group overal (35 in other units throughout the property) and everyone enjoyed and had a great time!

Property was clean and just as described and pictured! The condo is nice and spacious and has plenty of amenities available. The bayside pool and lazy river was definitely a selling point for us! It is quite the walk to the other side to get to the beach however. There was one instance where i needed assistance, and was answered on the first call. It was handled quickly and much appreciated Will definitely consider this place again for future trips!

Getting in contact with the owners was easy & fast responses! Clean, roomy nice condo! I would definitely book again in the future! They even had puzzles & legos for the kids to stay entertained when we were at the pool or beach. 😄

From the luxurious feel of a resort to the personal touches that made it feel like home, this stay was perfection. The huge tub after a long day at the beach was a perfect way to unwind. Everything was clean and the property owner was easy to get in touch with when we needed. We stay in Destin yearly and this location was more than accommodating to our family of 4 (with two under 4) and our two friends. Parking was always available and so close to the door. The resorts amenities were spotless and I even saw staff cleaning daily. Clean pools, walkways, elevators etc I never saw a scrap of trash. The beaches were a bit crowded but that was expected we just scooted our set up down a bit and weren’t bothered in the slightest. Beautiful resort, helpful and attentive staff, all and all the perfect vacation spot! Will be rebooking! 100%

I really enjoyed my stay even though the weather was not perfect that prevented us from going swimming at the beach but the outside Jacuzzi and Lazy River made me and my friends stay so worthy still. I will definitely come back to stay this place again soon the only thing I can complain is that the floor are area rug was so dirty that it makes your feet black after a few hours of walking barefoot so please don’t forget to clean the whole place including floors, other than that everything was great. The surrounding was clean and the view was gorgeous specially at night, and staffs was very nice and friendly so I will definitely would stay in this place again next. Thank you

This place was great ! One of out favorite vacation to date. We are already talking about going back next year. Resort and room were both great. May look at staying on gulf side next year although the walk was not bad at all from bay side.

Had a great time here! This location is quiet and family oriented. No waiting on elevators and there was always pool chairs available. Lazy River is a huge plus! Would definitely recommend!

Awesome stay for our family! You have the beach, restaurants, pier,and shopping, just a short walk away. My only complaint was the cutlery was bad and no Tupperware for storing leftovers. Those are very small things. We will definitely be back!

Nice Condo- lazy river is great
We recently stayed in this unit and enjoyed our visit. Great location to lazy river and it had a good view of the intercostal waterway. Unit was clean and all beds were comfortable. Bath towels were also provided during our stay. Property manager was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Fun for the whole family
Great location. My family had an awesome time. The pool & lazy river was nice! The only thing that could have been better is swap the bunk beds with the double bed. We had a total of 3 couples and 2 small kids. With the bunk bed room, no one was able to sleep in there; instead one couple slept on the couch. Overall, it was a great place and we hope to be back soon.

Memorial Day 2022
This is the 4th year we’ve spent Memorial Day weekend at Destin West and have enjoyed it each and every year. We trailer the boat up from Tampa and just love everything about the area. Destin West (Bay Side) with the Lazy River and Boat Slips makes it a super fun vacation spot for us! Highly recommend!!

The condo had a excellent view and the beach was in walking distance.
The condo was nice, the one bedroom had no dresser and closet was more of a storage area. No place to put suitcase. The bedroom with bunk beds had no room to put a suitcase, that room was not advertised well. Was not happy with those two rooms. The toilet seat in master was broken and not cleaned! No light in the hall so you could see how to work the washer/dryer. No place to put trash can. Could not open frig doors all the way to get products in. No ice trays. The location is very good. Had a very hard with the tv’s no instructions had to work!

Beautiful, clean property!
We had a great family girls trip at this property! Very clean, beautiful views of the lazy River, pool and bay. The beach was a short walk, gorgeous beach. Short drive into Destin. Would definitely stay here again! Chris was very helpful when we had a couple of questions.

We had an amazing stay over the week of Fourth of July 2021! The condo is beautiful with a great view of the bay! A short walk over the bridge gets you to the beach without having to navigate a dangerous road. We all slept comfortably in the many beds and had everything we needed for preparing our meals. The resort's outdoor BBQ area was perfect for outside dining and the pools kept us entertained on Red Flag days at the beach. Parking near our building was never an issue and we were a few minutes drive from many attractions! Would definitely recommend this property!

Great time!
The condo was very clean when we arrived and was everything we expected. Close to the lazy pool and hot tubs and just a little walk to the beach. Will definitely stay again in the future

Lovely condo
The small bedroom is not en-suite and bed a little tight for couple with king bed at home. Nice decor showing a little wear on painted furniture but that’s expected of a rental unit. We loved our view of lazy river. We didn’t even go to the beach until last day of our trip.

Great stay!
The condo is beautiful and spacious! We had a large group staying with up to 7 adults at one point and there was plenty of room for all of us without feeling cramped. The property was easily accessible with plenty of parking and we loved the hot tubs and lazy river. Will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful confo
This was a beautiful property and the condo was spacious, comfortable, well appointed. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen had all the things. Everything was very easy, Chris was responsive to questions (I got lost, the complex is so large!). Kids loved the pools and lazy River. The beach is a 6 min walk across the sky bridge. We had a wonderful time!!

Not good
I would not stay in this room again. Filthy floors, looked like blood seeping through the master bathroom floor anytime it was damp. Dishes in the cabinet was dirty and beds not comfortable. The ‘private’ beach was not so private, it was small area covered in blue umbrellas and blue chairs that you have to rent for $45/day. Not much room to set up your own chairs and umbrella, plus thousands of people from this resort were crammed into the small area reserved for Destin West guests. Lazy river was the only good part!

We had yet another wonderful stay at Destin West Bayside.
Everything was wonderful. Property manager communicated excellently with us before our arrival and while we were there. No complaints at all and we will definitely be back!

Great property and location
Everything was as described in the listing. Nice updates. Comfy beds. Our family loved the lazy river. The walk to the beach was 8 minutes. We didn't realize the beach was private to our resort, so that was a nice surprise for us. Umbrella and chair rentals are available at the beach, too.

Great resort area
This complex is a little far from Destin, they had so many amenities we never had to get in the car after we arrived. Great condo, clean and new!

Beautiful Condo & Location
This condo has lot of potential. The upgrades are very nice with LVP throughout but it definitely was not very clean. The kids feet were black within an hour of being there, there was long black hair found throughout (bath tub, shower, stuck to my wet feet after getting out of the shower. . .) The vacuum provided was broken so all we had was a broom which made cleaning the rug hard! There were no kitchen towels or wash cloths provided. It took me a minute to realize my husband was using cloth dinner napkins to wash and dry dishes. The condo itself offered great space for the family and the kitchen had lots of cookware which was nice. If they can just get it cleaned properly between guests and provide a vacuum we'd go back! The location was perfect for access to both Destin and FWB. The kids loved the pool and the proximity to the beach and arcades.

Loved the condo
We have stayed at Destin West many times in all different condos and this by far as one of our favorite, perfect size ,very nicely updated and had everything we needed.

Nice and clean spacious condo with a feeling of being at home!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property came with everything we needed and offered a view of the Gulf! We will make this our defacto place to stay when going back to the Ft Walton/Destin area! Kudos to Chris who is a great manager of the property!

Wonderfully nice and clean condo!
We really enjoyed our stay at Destin West! The amenities are fabulous. The kids loved the lazy river, swimming pool, and family sauna. The beach was just a quick walk across the crosswalk. We had no major issues and Chris was super nice to work with, he was willing to come and search for a TV remote. He was so helpful and informative on places to eat in the area and attractions to enjoy with our family. We will definitely come and stay again.

The condo was absolutely gorgeous! It had all the cookware & bedding we needed for our family of 7.
The property was impressive, we loved the lazy river & being able to watch the kids go from one pool to another. It was fun for the entire family! The walk to the beach wasn't bad at all & the kids enjoyed the pedestrian bridge to the beach. The entire property was clean from the condo to the grounds & even the elevators. We would definitely return to this condo at Destin West, we loved it!

Beautifully appointed condo complete with everything needed for an amazing stay.
This condo is renovated/updated with very nice finishes. The furniture selection was perfect for larger families. Plenty of seating and sleep space (bunk beds, a trundle bed, a full bed and a king!). The bath towels provided were soft and oversized, the sheets were higher quality/thread count and were also very soft, the pillows were comfortable - all things that allowed us to recharge after a long day at the beach. There were TV's in every room which was great to have during down time - no fighting among the kids. The living area had a very nice TV - perfect for watching episodes of shark week! We were able to cook a lot of meals in and had everything we needed to prepare meals, make smoothies, etc. We were excited to see a Keurig - coffee was perfect every morning. The patio area was spacious and we enjoyed sitting outside soaking it all in. The overall grounds at Destin West are well kept and the pool/lazy river is a ton of fun. We stay on the bay side of the complex because it is more lush, the lazy river is fantastic for the kids and the bay side just seems far more quiet than the ocean side. The owner of the property (Chris) is awesome. He was super responsive when we had a slow moving drain in the main bath (happens at the beach with so much sand going down the drains). He was out to fix it within an hour of us sending him a text and we had no further issues with the drain. I have stayed places where you may wait a day to get a response, so this was amazing service from the owner. He also followed up with us to be sure all was well. Clearly, his primary concern is for his occupants to have the perfect stay and he went out of his way to ensure we were happy. I would highly recommend this property and this unit in particular. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful, remodeled, very nice unit
The condo is gorgeous! They have recently remodeled and everything is very nice. My family of 7 had PLENTY of room. We enjoyed the pool & lazy river and the beach was a short, easy walk away. My daughters play a softball tournament at the beach almost every summer and we will absolutely book this condo again.
