The pantry had some nice basics like bread, butter and jam. Plus milk and OJ in the fridge.
There was a strong sewage smell during the night and into the following day. Leah, the manager, kindly moved us to another apartment within an hour of being contacted.

Well located, quiet, spacious studio apartment. In good condition & clean, with supplies (snacks, breakfast, shower gel, etc) to get me through my trip. Bed was comfy.
I couldn't figure out how to turn the heating down, it was a little bit warm for my taste overnight.
(thinking back I think there was a QR code on the wall I could have scanned, but I didn't think of that at the time)

Location. Good and friendly staff. Nice welcome package. Clothes washer/dryer and provided detergent was nice to have.
Not much fresh air circulation, but the provided fan helped. Narrow hallway between bedroom and bathroom with doors that often blocked the hallway. Holder for hand-held shower head did not work.

Nice touch with the breakfast cereals, bread, milk, butter, jams, tea, coffee, water crisps and orange juice. Thank you. We did enjoy đź‘Ť
We couldn’t fault anything.

location and the quietness. great place to be.
everything was perfect. Only knock which was nothing that could have been anticipated was that the washing machine’s heating unit was no good. But the management was on it quickly within minutes of my calling but unfortunately the part wouldn’t get to us in time of our stay. Again wasn’t their fault. these things happen to appliances but they were quick to respond and resolve!

The apartment was very clean and very well equipped.

very clean and much bigger than expected. It had everything we needed.
it was too 'smart' - we had to grt help twice to get tv, wifi and oven working ( which was actually just a microwave). The helper also couldn't figure out the tv controls! I do work in tech and am not clueless but there were no instructions on how to use any of the appliances.

The apartment was very modern, clean and had everything you needed.
The bedroom was downstairs, which was lovely and quiet and cool considering temperature were reaching 32 degrees outside when we stayed.

Midsummer Mews is a lovely place. We stayed in apartment 10 for five nights and loved it. It's on the first floor and two large windows overlook the entrance / garden. The apartments are off the road and very quiet, yet close to a shopping mall for any necessities. We arrived later than advised because of rail strikes, but we were talked through the checking-in process by a PERSON on a phone. It is very reassuring to know you could speak to someone at that time of the night when everything is unfamiliar. Also, we found everything we needed to make breakfast for a few mornings - including fresh milk - and we really appreciated this.
The apartment consists of a large open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen, decorated in a simple, pleasing style and colour. There is a toilet just off the kitchen and a large bathroom with a bath and a separate shower, just off the large bedroom. Everything worked - all the appliances, the boilers, the dryer, the washing machine, the coffee machine.... everything. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed linen was nice and white. There was plenty of wardrobe space too.
After five nights, or earlier, one usually starts to notice problems in a rented apartment; with this one we were happy till the end of our stay!
Three very little things:
1. The automatic closing gate clangs shut quite loudly - perhaps some rubber could dampen the sound.
2. The taps in the shower are round making it almost impossible to turn off with wet hands.
3. The fittings for the glass doors/windows in the balcony (including the tall one in the kitchen) need some oiling for a smoother operation.

I often use CityStay and have been in many of their apartments. This time I was in a different apartment and it was amazing! HUGE bathroom, so beautiful, big bedroom and it was just lovely.
Put me in this apartment more PLEASE!!! :-D I didn’t want to leave the bath.
Nothing really, except it was right next to the gate and someone kept coming and going a LOT around midnight which was noisy. But I didn’t mind.

The shower controls. Over complicated and impractical

We liked the location and the modern style of the flat.
The bed was super squeaky and the lights or something else had an almost constant buzzing noise. These made sleeping a bit harder.

The apartment was incredibly clean, in a great location and with excellent facilities. Many little details had been thoughtfully provided and every staff member from CityStay that I spoke with was very helpful.

very well cared for place, and well stocked, with many thoughtful details
there should have been a better check in process. nobody was present at the property and there was no reception office. key codes could easily have been sent the morning of stay, but i didn’t get any info on how to open the gate/door.
