We had the best time. The house is fantastic, the location is amazing, we spent a lot of time outside on the deck and porch. We hope to come back next summer!

This was our second stay at Cedarcroft Lodge. The home is charming and spacious, with all the amenities needed in a beautiful setting in Southwest Harbor ME. We hope to return many times to this haven. We thank Paul, our host, for his hospitality, attentiveness, and kindness.

We enjoyed CEDARCROFT and Paul , the owner, was very helpful when we were puzzled by t v set up
The only disadvantage for us- senior citizens-was the steps upstairs . Paul was transparent about them before we booked and we certainly managed ok. But getting luggage up and down was challenging

We have been coming to MDI for years, and recently began staying in SWH. This is the perfect house and location for our family. Paul, the owner, is gracious, responsive and thoughtful. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in his lovely home and can’t wait to go back again!

It was a perfectly perfect visit from beginning to end for three generations from 61 to 2 1/2 years old. Easy check in. Easy check out. Ideal location on the Quiet Side for trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia, and a short walk from truly excellent lobster rolls. We are hoping to return.

The home was lovely, clean, well appointed and perfectly located within walking distance to town and the bay, where fishing off the town dock was pretty good! A unique feature of the house is even though it’s close to everything, it’s set back off the street, providing privacy, quiet and a green, leafy setting. Paul, the owner was informative, gracious, and responded immediately when a small issue arose and had it resolved within hours. We stayed for 3 weeks. My only regret is I wish I had booked for longer. I highly recommend this property.

Great jumping off location!
Loved hanging out on the porch at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked and was a nice quite location but still close to everything for our family.

Perfect
The house is even more lovely than the online photos suggest.tasteful and homey. The location was private and beautiful. There was even a robin’s next with three fledglings just next to the door (that we tried not to disturb). Paul was easy to reach by email and answered all questions promptly. We would definitely return!

Comfortable stay
We absolutely adored this home. The decor, beautiful porches and comfortable beds were spot on. We were close to restaurants but just loved hanging on the porch with the afternoon sun. Highly recommend this home. Had everything we needed. Would definately stay here again. Very charming

Charming Southwest Harbor home
This was a beautiful restored home. It was very comfortable from the high quality linens to the fresh flowers in two rooms! It had the charm of an old New England farmhouse with wide planked floors. The house was very well stocked. The kitchen was stocked with high quality pots and pans, including all we needed for cooking our own lobster. Several restaurants were in walking distance. I liked that they offered things like plastic wrap, firewood ready to light in the fireplace, a spare propane tank for the grill, antiques throughout. This was a truly charming old house for those who like old houses. Our group definitely does. The host was very responsive and we would highly recommend this house in quiet Southwest Harbor.

Beautiful house in beautiful SW Harbor
We have been coming to MDI for many years, and most recently have been staying in Southwest Harbor. This year we were lucky to be able to stay in this lovely house - both perfectly located and perfectly charming. We had a fantastic time, and hope to come back again in the future. Paul was great - super responsive and helpful. Loved all of it.

Peaceful Stay
Great stay on the quiet side (Southwest Harbor), but close enough to quickly get to attractions in Acadia and Bar Harbor. House is secluded on a larger lot, but still only a few blocks from the waterfront/restaurants...easy walk. Well decorated with antiques that complemented the house. New gas BBQ grill.

Peaceful haven on Acadia's quiet side
Perfect house for our family of six in a very private setting away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. Easy drive to all Acadia NP has to offer. The house had everything we needed for a great vacation.
