The owner was VERY responsive and immediately replied when we experienced a few hiccups after checkin. It was nothing major, but I still very much appreciated the prompt followup.
The location is good, but it's much more of a ski in, than ski out. Accessing the Poma lift is a workout due to a large hill of snow that must be climbed. And a couple days the Poma lift wasn't even running. Obviously, this is out of the homeowner's control, but annoying when ski-in/ski-out is what you're paying for.
The unit itself was clean, but outdated for what we paid - especially the upstair's bathrooms. Additionally, the heating was inconsistent throughout, with one bedroom being quite hot. It was nice to have heated rooms to adjust individually, but one room would not cool off! We also experienced issues with running out of hot water, and no one took a long shower. There were no bathmats in any of the bathrooms, either. Again, for what we paid, we shouldn't have had these issues.
That said, the checkout process was a dream! With every other VRBO we've rented, the checkout process required work on our end to strip beds, put sheets in the washer, pile up towels, and clear out all food. While we would have been happy to do this, it was really nice not having to worry about it when we're packing up and trying to catch a flight.
Overall, for the price, I'd say the place was fine, but not great.

This condo was perfect for us. We had 7 people, 5 Adults and 2 kids. The kitchen was well equipped. The living area is well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The condo was ski-in and ski-out. Though, ski-in does require some experience.

The property is as described if not better. The layout is very comfortable with plenty of room. The location of the property is outstanding, only a short 5 minute walk to and from the main lodge and lift lines.

We had a great trip. Super comfortable for our family of 6. The bunk room was perfect for three boys to have their own beds, my daughter claimed the room on the main floor and my wife and I the king size bed. Easy in and out for skiing. Well stocked. Very gracious hosts. The village had a power failure one night and they were in touch with us communicating updates regularly. We made a fire and it was no issue!

This place was awesome! Aside from being cozy and clean and plenty of space - the owners make sure the place is stocked with all the things you need for a great stay. Everything from spices, to oils, to high quality pots and pans, gorgeous knives (that actually cut!), paper towels, sponges, soap, paper towels - the list is too long! We would definitely be friend with these people!! Made our trip so less stressful to have to worry about basics! Hope to come back!!

This property is perfect for a family with adult or young children. It was stocked with every appliance and cooking pans/pots, utensils that you could ever use. Jamie is so sweet and very responsive to my never-ending requests and questions. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Our group of 5 loved staying at this condo! The morning fox visits were our favorite! There was more than enough room for everyone, quick walk to the Bear Back Poma lift, easy walk to the Mountain Village shops and restaurants. Jamie was a very responsive host. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved staying at this condo! The location was perfect with a short walk to the poma lift. It is a ski-in, ski-out property. The condo was very comfortable for our family and it was very nicely decorated with a 'mountain' theme. The kitchen was well stocked. The condo was clean and communication with the owner was easy. The condo is in Big Sky - it is in one of the most beautiful ski areas!! We are booking the same condo for next year!!

Property characteristics as described on VRBO site.
Pricing reflective of proximity to Mountain Village. Could have been better proximity, but pricing would have been higher if so.
Had to get accustomed to using the poma lift and the Skyline Bus service.

We loved the location, lots of firewood for cozy nights, plenty of kitchen supplies. Only thing we all were disappointed in is the lack of comfortable bedding, when traveling who wants to sleep on hard scratchy beds. Other than that, great place!

Big Sky
The four of us, two couples, really enjoyed staying at this condo and what we liked most was the location to the button lift.

Great spot for the family at Big Sky
First off I always get a little nervous when dealing with renting a property, but Jamie was super responsive every time I reached out to her from the day we did our reservation to the week we were there. That meant a lot and put me at ease quickly.
The condo was exactly as described. Lots of room. Well stocked dishes and coffee maker. Even a shot ski (hockey stick). We had 6 and could have had two more comfortably. Jamie and Jon had lots of wood in the garage so we were able to have a fire every night after getting back from skiing.
It's about a 200 yd walk to the Poma lift so even after a hard day skiing it was an easy walk back. Probably a 10 min walk to the village. Easier way back after drinking as it's uphill there and downhill back. :)
For those going to Big Sky for the first time... I made one mistake and didn't make reservations to restaurants as Jamie recommended. There's a few spots that require them - The Cabin, Everetts 8800, Dinner Yurt. So definitely do that. Our kids got my wife and I dinner at the Yurt for Xmas, but made the reservation a couple of months in advance. For those of you going... hit the Yurt.
Thanks Jamie and Jon for opening up your place to us!

The townhouse is very roomy, the kitchen was well equipped including spices and aluminum foil, etc. made cooking easy.
There is a washer and dryer with detergent provided. We had to wash towels several times during our stay so this was very appreciated.
Saw a deer, a fox and a bear right out the back door!
We enjoyed our stay and would love to rent this townhome again if we return to Big Sky.

Our stay was amazing! I can't express how easy it was to communicate with the owner. He was so accommodating and kind!

The proximity to the slopes made this property a winner! Black Bear Poma lift was operating so it was a 25 yard walk to be on the hill.

Completely Comfortable & Communication
The condo was everything it was represented to be, and there was no need for anything else. It was so refreshing that the owner was immediately accessible and friendly with any questions we had when we were guests. I'll definitely stay there again.

Big Horn 66
This is a very nice place and the visiting fox delighted us each evening. The downside is that the lift to the slopes next to the condos was not operating and we had to walk to the base each day. Not sure if this is due to the pandemic or standard practice for weekdays, but it was disappointing since we paid higher rates for “ski-in/out”. Bring slippers because the tiled floors on the main level are cold! But, overall, this was a modern and lovely place to stay and we definitely enjoyed the evening fire in the fireplace!

Hidden gem
We stayed in Big Sky to visit Yellowstone NP on our recent motorcycle trip at the beginning of July. It is a 58 mile ride to the park's west entrance. The condo was great. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. All the essentials were there. Coffee, condiments, spices, and laundry detergent were available. A small grocery store is just a 5-minute walk away.

Perfect place for ski in ski out
Lovely Condo and GREAT owner communication. While we had a few questions all were answered quickly.
We loved the location to the easy lift to the main ski area. We had my adult children and their significant others with them and everyone fit fine. I love that you have more than enough dinner ware and glasses for the group to last through 2-3 meals. Thank you for a terrific place.

Everything was fantastic
Everything here was excellent. We had a group of between 4 and 6 people for 7 nights and had a great time. The couple of small questions that popped up were immediately responded to by Jamie. The location is about 50 yards from the Back Bear Poma lift, and you can ski back to it off Silver Knife very easily. It's about an 8 minute walk to the main base area for food, rentals, and for those uncomfortable with a poma lift to walk to the main lifts. We'd happily stay here again.
