We came down to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday with two other couples, and it was the perfect location with a nice amount of space. The only downside is that you have to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the other one. All in all, we would definitely stay there again!

We had such a wonderful stay! It was absolutely spotless, spacious, comfortable and beautiful. There is a ton of closet space and storage, lovely decor, comfortable beds & bedding, and lots of gorgeous light coming in through the windows. Having the casita/separate apartment was so perfect. The location is fantastic. So close to great food, great coffee, the beach and activities. We took part in a boat tour and the location was a just a few minutes walk away. We managed to lock ourselves out and the representative from Haller Homes was so quick to respond. So gracious, professional and kind too! We have stayed at many rentals and this was by far one of our favorites. We rarely rebook places as we like new experiences, but we will definitely be back! Thank you for a magical stay!

Amazing location walking distance to beach and funk zone. A great property for traveling with family. Very close to the Moxi Museum, which is enjoyable for kids of all ages. We would revisit!

We had 6 adults in town for a wedding. The unit was perfect for our group. It was very spacious and clean. The location is great. It is in walking distance to the beach, the pier and several great restaurants. We definitely recommend it and will come back the next time we are in Santa Barbara!

We are a family of six adult age guests who stayed at the West Beach Villa 1. We were here for a busy wedding weekend and wish we could have enjoyed the VRBO more. It’s in a great location, spacious, very comfortable, and has all the amenities you would need. The only very minor thing is that you need to go through the master bedroom to get to the detached guest studio; was not an issue for us though. Overall a great place to stay!

We stayed for my son’s wedding. It was perfect and close to everything I would, for sure stay again. Great kitchen, great bedrooms the extra little bungalow was perfect for my son and his girlfriend property was perfect. We walked to the beach and several restaurants. All of the restaurants had great customer service and food was delicious. I would pick this place for sure to stay again.

Beautiful property close to beach. Well maintained and clean.
Very spacious living space and bedrooms, but be aware that
the third bedroom is in a separate structure so may not be appropriate if bedroom needed for young children or their parents. Parking very convenient, but must be skilled enough to back out a long narrow driveway uphill. No problem for us,but might be a concern to some.
Overall, a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home!

West Beach home was perfect for our needs. Clean, roomy, comfortable, updated, and in a quiet, safe neighborhood - everything we sought for a Christmas get-away. Started with arriving after midnight due to travel and finding all we needed for the morning - coffee, filters, tea... THANK YOU!
Two blocks to the beach, a neighborhood market within blocks, and an easy walk to Chad's, Jeannine's, and lot of restaurants. Check-in and access could not have been easier and owner was able (and willing) to accommodate us for an extra night when travel was still delayed. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Our extended family of 5 adults and 1 teen enjoyed our 4-night stay in this lovely home. Spotless and fully equipped with all we needed. We BBQ'd every night and ate on the picturesque deck. Everyone slept on comfy beds with luxurious linens. We took the wagon to the beach several times - just a couple of blocks away! All in all a great time away together!

We were two couples sharing the space on the bottom first floor. It was a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Had issues with a couple of things in the home and property management was very attentive and responded quickly. The four us renting have some feedback that I hope doesn’t come across as negative and will be accepted as constructive feedback to make the place even better.
All fans are desperate need of cleaning (blades on all were quite dusty), outdoor cushions need replacing, a regular size ironing board vs. a small table top one would be much more convenient especially when ironing large items. The most unfortunate part was the noise from the young family above which was quite disturbing. We woken early every morning with small feet running back and forth and dropped items which was really loud and startling. A suggestion would be to have an age restriction for families with young children renting the top floor. It would help for people below to have a relaxing vacation as well. My fault... I didn't know it was a two family until after I paid the deposit so didn't want to forfeit any money to chancel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was as pictured with nice amenities. The location was perfect: easy walking distance to everything. We would absolutely stay here again. The staff was very responsive when we had a small issue with a lock and they resolved it quickly. We were a little concerned about not having AC because we are from the East Coast where summers are very hot, but we were quite comfortable. We ran the portable AC units only twice, and only for a short period to cool down the rooms at the end of the day. We also cooked one night on the grill and ate on the lovely patio. Great unit for a family!

Great location, house was ok
The location is amazing, we could walk to the Funk Zone and lower State St. There is another renter above the main house and it is very easy to hear people walking above, not quiet at all, especially at night. Definitely not as “stocked” as the listing claims (glad I brought my own baking sheet, we needed a mixer or whisk to make a boxed cake mix for a bday but we had to use an old and smoking blender, very little Kleenex so we had to buy more right away). Not very clean. The floor plan is nice and the location is great, but probably would not stay here again because there are other options in the same area.

Great separate master with outdoor patio
We really enjoyed staying at this downstairs portion of a duplex. It's only 3-4 blocks from the beach and the shops. My only complaint is not with the VRBO, but SB/CA- the homeless crisis is out of hand in this town. We had to step over homeless people on the sidewalk. Then really late one night, a homeless man rooted through all of our trash- on private property- which woke us up.

Great location. Older residence with creaking floors from above and single pane windows. Public walkway along the side of the building with people yelling late at night and getting sick (barfing) in the early morning. Broken ironing board, floors need a good cleaning one electronic door lock failed twice.

We were a group of six adults. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Plenty of common areas to gather, both indoors and outdoors. Walkable to Stearns Wharf, State Street, and many restaurants. Not as clean as expected!!!
Good area to all amenities and areas of Santa Barbara.
Although was told it had a deep clean the property was dirty behind all furniture, socks of previous occupants found under beds, toys behind couch and lots of dust. One of the beds had a screw missing which meant my son had to sleep on the mattress on the floor.
Noisy as near train line, first train comes early.
Can hear people walking around above disturbing especially at night.

Perfect location!
Everything was just as described! We had everything we needed - and we were able to walk everywhere once we arrived: to restaurants, to the beach, etc. The 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms were perfect for us 3 adult couples. The neighborhood was quaint & lovely.

Pleasant Stay
Was going to SB to visit friends and wanted to find a place in close proximity to our friends’ house. This house ended up being 4 houses down which was really convenient. House was clean and beds were comfortable. In close proximity/walking distance to state street where all the shops and restaurants are. Plenty of towels were provided. House has Keurig machine for coffee, paper towels, hand soap, laundry detergent, wifi, big flat screen TV in living room. One note to mention is that the only way to get to the detached 3rd bedroom from inside the house is through the master bedroom which has a door that leads to the outdoor patio and the 3rd bedroom. There is also a separate staircase to access the 3rd bedroom from the outside.

Spring Break in Santa Barbara
The location of this property (albeit very close to Amtrak/train which can disrupt one's sleep) is so convenient with easy access for running/walking, morning coffee strolls, afternoon wine-tasting, and downtown shopping and eating. The unit is the street-entry level of the main house and an in-law separate unit above the garage connected via an open-air patio. The house is not very sound-proof. We could hear creaks, footsteps and loud conversations. The highway is relatively close and depending on how the wind is blowing it can be more or less noisy. The house has lots of windows so with the blinds up it is very nice and bright. There is a public access pathway that cuts between this unit and the neighbor house so you may see people trekking by the kitchen nook. TVs and wifi were great. Watched the surf competition as a family in the living room.

This was a wonderful get-away in a bright and cheery home with Santa Barbara and Beach themed art and little details throughout the home. Great location - a few blocks walk to the beach, restaurants, and State Street. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Well furnished and charming home that I enjoyed during my writing retreat. One to keep on my list for a return visit.
