Close to just about everything in downtown Charleston and within walking distance to anything you would want to do! Awesome accommodations and supplied with anything a person may need while staying at the VRBO. Would absolutely stay at this VRBO again!

Great location - able to walk to most things in city. Nice place….comfortable, clean and spacious with high ceilings. Great communication with host (very quick responses to questions I had) and had a parking spot included which is a big plus in the city. Being an owned unit within a hotel gave you access to an onsite bar/restaurant and a front desk staff to help answer questions. Overall would stay here again……(I am a frequent visitor to Charleston to visit family)

Location within walking distance to all activities. Host responsive and very attentive to help with internet crisis
Unfortunately, we had no Wi-Fi access for 2 days. The loft is more amenable for 2 people vs 4 due to sleeping situation. pullout sofa was worn down and most of the furniture was dated and uncomfortable.
The bed in upstairs loft was very comfortable.
This host is not affiliated with the Lodge Valley Inn. Consequently the staff was less than accommodating and could generally not answer questions about the loft itself or allow us to enter into the most convenient entrance to the loft as they would not allow us a key fob. They actually never could pull us up in there system despite the fact the loft was clearly within their campus.
The dishwasher was broken and the freezer seemed to leak water into refrigerator everyday several lamps where not working and the lighting in general was poor

Fantastic location. Walking distance to all the key places and attractions. The loft was more spacious than anticipated and had a nice view over the courtyard. Busy street but the apartment was quiet. Bed very comfy.

This property is extremely clean and the location is perfect. The apartment is walking distance to everything and the outdoor courtyard is perfect for morning coffee. Highly recommend and would stay here again when in town.

The location was fabulous! We would definitely stay her again and highly recommend!

Spacious. Needs some paint updating and major clean in tub. Mildew smell in apt. Thin walls so a bit noisy at night. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of towels for 3.

Excellent location. Host was responsive to questions. Only word of caution is tight spiral stairs to bedroom and only bath for those with mobility issues. Also mention to bring own toiletries as only soap available. Location outweighed all.

We had a wonderful time. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable and near everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Very well appointed and spacious accommodations with a real leather couch. The kitchen was modern and contained all necessary items for a gourmet meal.
The accommodations are within walking distance to hundreds of restaurants, bars, parks and other attractions.
Parking is a little janky, but the provided garage pass is only a couple blocks away. Much better than no place to park at all.
The walls can seem a little thin at times.

Cute and cozy in the heart of Charleston. We really enjoyed our stay and could see ourselves staying here again. Check in and out was super easy. The owner provided perfect instructions that made finding the unit and the parking garage super easy. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was the perfect place for us to get away for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you again allowing us to stay.

Great location for enjoying restuarants and the Spoleto festival.
The loft layout gave us nice room for spreading out.
The bedroom loft did not allow for a king size bed, though, which is our preference.
All in all, a nice setup.

Apartment was clean and had everything you would need. Very comfortable. Awesome location is perfect for the historic district. Go to Carmelo’s for dessert. It’s right across the street. Owner was very responsive to questions. Would return again.

The location was excellent. We didn't have a car, but we didn't need one as everything we wanted to do/see was in walking distance. This would be perfect for a couple. The sole bathroom being upstairs was a bit challenging, but we managed. I'd definitely stay here again.

Check in was smooth and easy. The unit was nicely appointed, clean and stocked with the essentials. I needed to contact Ashton and he responded immediately. The location is the best in Charleston. We never needed the car. I highly recommend this unit. We’ll definitely be back!!!

The only bathroom is located up a spiral staircase that is difficult to climb. Had we known we would not have rented.
The unit is in a BlueGreen Timeshare resort you are not part of the resort and do not check in and need to get your luggage up through a service elevator.
The location and parking pass are great.

This location can not be beat! The loft is comfortable and attractive. A half bath on the main level would make it really perfect, but it really wasn’t a big deal to climb the stairs. We enjoyed being able to walk right out the door into prime historic district territory. Great restaurants are within steps, but make your reservations early!

Very comfortable condo. Great location, we were able to walk to everything except for plantation tours and a day trip to Beaufort. My husband wasn’t too keen on the spiral staircase because he’s a j by it unsteady on his feet, but I thought it was great exercise!

Right downtown in walking distance to all attractions and downtown restaurants. Large grocery (Harris Teeter) is two blocks away. Free parking a plus. The private room at the restaurant spills into the courtyard under the unit. Loud wedding started to quiet down at 10:30pm and all gone by 11pm.

Ashton’s loft is in an amazing location on E Bay St - across the street from many of Charleston’s most famous restaurants. We loved the proximity to King Street shopping and the waterfront park. The loft itself was located in the Lodge Alley Inn, which was under heavy construction during the time of our stay, but the construction noise did not bother us one bit! We would gladly stay here again when we come to Charleston!

This rental could be nice but smelled musty when we entered. We noticed a lot of dust in higher places, caked around lower molding and mold and mildew starting in the bath and on the shower curtain. There was a lot of mildew cleaners under the bathroom sink so we sprayed the areas that needed it.
Many light bulbs needed replacing but not any extra light bulbs for us to replace them with.
When we turned down the bed late on the first night we noticed the sheets were wrinkled as if they had been slept in, the corners were pulled loose along with hair and dirt.
We reached out to the property Mgr and when he finally got back to us at the end of the next day he said they didn’t iron the sheets and the place hadn’t been deep cleaned because they had been so busy, But he assured me housecleaning had changed out the sheets.
We didn’t sleep in the bed first night but bought new bedding the next day.
On a good note, we were allowed to get in the room early because there hadn’t been anyone in the day before.
Too bad housecleaning didn’t use the extra time to their advantage.
It is in a great location, has potential and is walking distance to many great areas.

This little room was great for my wife and I's anniversary stay! Single bedroom, loft room, with a cute little kitchen. The room was very clean and updated, but it still has a rustic feel to it. There is only one bathroom and it is upstairs, so keep that in mind if you bring kids. It wasn't a problem for us at all. The location is right in the middle of the action in downtown Charleston. Walk out from the alley and you have several great restaurants to choose from, everything from fine dining, to casual bbq and a tasty little bakery/dessert/coffee bar! It is about a block away from Maret St. where all the vendors and handcrafted goods are sold, a lot of local things to be seen and bought. You are very close to the Pineapple water fountain park and a pier to enjoy the sights and sounds of the water. We walked everywhere, over to the famous King St. where movies have been filmed, and ALL the shopping takes place. A good day's worth of walking and sightseeing. We loved the location and would enjoy staying here again next time we come down! The owner was super friendly over the phone/email with information of places to go and see, where to eat at... Check-in was painless and easy. Would most definitely recommend staying here!

LOCATION
The unit is located in an excellent location. Very easy to walk to the various sites, especially the market. Only down side, think its time to update the mattress and box springs

Fantastic Stay at the Loft
Highly recommend! My daughter and I were so impressed with friendly staff at The Lodge Alley Inn- so accommodating! Perfect location near popular restaurants, café, Market Square, Roof Top Restaurants/Bar and stay included free parking by the Owner of The Loft which is a MUST when staying downtown Charleston. The Loft was absolutely adorable and decorated in Charleston Southern fashion. Great view of the square- I even had a friendly squirrel to visit outside window while sipping my coffee in the morning.
Perfect accommodations for 2-4 people. I look forward to returning with my husband:)

Charleston a city for lovers
Spent the weekend celebrating my significant others birthday and she loved it. Wonderful property centrally located right where you need to be. I could not more highly recommend you stay here. The property manager worked with us to adjust our check-in when something came up. Thank-you for a perfect weekend !

A Perfect Getaway
My sister and I met in Charleston for a "catch-up" weekend and staying at here was the perfect place to do it.
We could not have been in a better location. It was walking distance to everywhere we wanted to be and it was smack in the middle between two of my favorite restaurants: High Cotton and Magnolias.
The apartment was very comfortable. It was the perfect place to start our day with coffee and pastries in the morning and to head "home" to at the end of the day.
I would (will!) stay here again.
