We booked this house as a weekend family outing, and it fit our needs perfectly! It had everything we needed for kids ages 2-15, and adults ranging from 24-80! Would happily book again for future trips.

Despite the June rains, we loved the nightly campfires . There even was a roasting stick for the smores and weiners. . The attention to these small details made our stay carefree. The beds were so comfy too!
Thank you to the Wyncoops and the builder for creating such a wonderful retreat.

Such an amazing place…. I wish we could have stayed longer and done more things!

The lodge is a fantastic floor plan for large parties with people who want to get up and go to bed at different times. Multiple en suite bathrooms and kitchens. Endless scenic views and fresh air. This clean lodge served my family well when we came up for the Coeur D’Alene 70.3. About 30 minutes from downtown CDA it was just at the upper limit of time we would have liked to spend on the road for our trip, the privacy and scenery helped. The TV in the main living room had a faulty cable box and had access issues to the installed streaming services, downstairs the cable worked but only had access to PPV. Those were the only issues we had. The batteries were low on the front door lock, but the owner made it by within the day to have it fixed

Wonderful family gathering at Redemption Rock Lodge! The views from the lodge are stunning! Even though the setting feels remote, town is less than 30 minute drive away. The accommodation is thoughtfully designed, with bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas on all three floors. Dining area adjoining kitchen seats a crowd and covered outdoor patio offers another area for dining with oversized bbq and several tables and lots of chairs. Host was easy to communicate with and information provided was accurate. Everyone in our family LOVED our stay.

We enjoyed a beautiful extended weekend at the lodge. Beautiful hiking our first day, then a beautiful snowstorm on day two that made games and puzzles by the fireplace super cozy. We were 5 families with 5 kids, so the various bunkbed options were perfect.
Well stocked kitchen with essentials, lots of space to spread out, and outdoor space that can't be beat. If you're looking for a reasonably remote location to enjoy the outdoors and a beautiful indoor setting also, this is it!

The property was great, exactly as advertised and Steve (the host) was prompt in replying to questions. We had family visiting from overseas as well as across the US and all were glad we chose this place.

Held a family union at the house and stayed 5 nights, it was like staying at a National Park lodge! There were plenty of beds and room for our group of 18. The house is secluded but just 15 minutes from I-90 with easy access to Spokane, Coeur d'Alene and Hayden Lake. Morning coffee and sunsets on the back deck were beautiful and we saw lots of deer. Would stay again.

The lodge is fantastic, so beautiful. There was so much room for our party of 11 to sprawl out. The great room had an amazing view and we loved using the fireplace. We saw tons of wildlife and so enjoyed being out in the woods. The spectacular view and the sunsets were icing on the cake. This lodge far surpasses the description and our expectations. We will definitely come back!

We rented this home to have 85th Birthday Celebration & family Reunion. We had 40 people on the day of the party. This place had everything & Anything you could want. It had great space to visit, to play games, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need as well.
Having 2 laundry rooms made it great as well. The hike up to the tower was enjoyed by a few. They say the sunset view up there was spectacular. The frogs & tadpoles were great fir the kids. They loved watching them. This house is a must to stay for any big family gathering. We would definitely book this house again. Thank you to the owners! They were very accommodating to our group. Only 1 thing that we ran out of was propane for the gas grill.

Our family of 14, all met her for vacation. The house was stunning! Owners were easy to get ahold of if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this home for your family stay!

We were favorably impressed by the architecture and pine furnishings. The layout and outside pavilion accommodated our 20 people comfortably. We did appreciate all the cleaning supplies available.
Suggestions for improvement: 1. Both propane tanks were empty. 2. Silverware drawer needed cleaning as did other drawers. 3. More glasses were needed. 4. We were surprised by the gratuity envelope for the cleaning staff. We have never seen that at a Vrbo house. Do you expect a tip when we check into a clean house or when we leave a mess?

We had a large family half adults and half little children. There was so much space for the kids to run around in. They loved playing ping pong! The scenery and wildlife was amazing to see. The house was big and beautiful! The host was amazing and attentive! We would definitely. recommend it! We loved the tower hike attempt we made (kids didn’t make it that far). It was short drive to everywhere. Perfect location! Thank you so much!!!

Amazing setting! Remote, private, up in mountains, yet Walmart is less than 20 minutes away. Never grew tired of the view from the balcony. Sunsets every night were picture perfect. Large comfortable space for our large group. Loved having 2 sets of W/D. Would definitely return.

The views are stunning! The house was comfy, spacious with fun amenities. Everything you could want for making memories with a multi family gathering.

The views are great. Beautiful property. Steve was very accommodating. There is one bedroom on the main level which worked out well for a paraplegic family member. There isn't a seat in the shower for a chair user but there is room for one and the shower is hand held. There is one small step into the house but that was no issue.

Beautiful property, quality design, tastefully decorated, quiet location but only 25 minutes to town. The sunsets from the porch are stunning.
Our family reunion had plenty of outdoor seating and amenities. We will definitely return!

First, we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lodge with a stunning view. The common area was great for our group of 15 adults and 2 young children. Beware, there were a few major issues with the lodge/property. First, if you plan a trip here in the winter, you should expect that you NEED to have AWD/4X4 vehicles (not just "recommended") OR you should expect to chain up. There was nothing about this in the online listing. The paperwork after the reservation was made "recommended" the more capable vehicles. The owner was diligent about plowing the long driveway when it snowed but even with that the more capable vehicles are required. The lodge had some serious leaking issues around the windows in the basement with audible leaks and pooling of water, falling drywall, etc. When notified, the owner was aware and working on it but it made those rooms damp and cold. Lastly, there were limited window dressings, even for the bathrooms/showers. The master bath on the first floor was quite "exposing" to folks who are outside walking around the house. Even with these issues, it was a fantastic stay with a beautiful winter wonderland feeling and a warm wood fire in the fireplace. Magical...once we all were able to get there on the slick and snowy roads.

4 guys playing golf in the Spokane area. All of us enjoyed the home and the seclusion. Will definitely stay again on our next golf outing

amazingly beautiful! Unbelievable sunsets and even got to watch a thunderstorm will through. What a view from the tower and rock hike! Grandparents and everyone really appreciated the beauty of the decor. Pretty easy commute to silver wood for the kids as well. We will certainly be back. I'd love to see it in the snow!

We rented the lodge for three nights and had fifteen people including 6 children, ranging from 2 years to 13years old. Lots of space in the lodge for our groups to gather.
A wide variety of things to do on the property and lots of room for walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
The lodge itself has a sense of majesty with its large log pillars throughout the spacious interior. The view off to the north shows the Spokane Valley and Post Falls and the mountains in the background, a post card.
Our only regret was that 3 days went to quickly.
Great place to visit.

This property was truly amazing, even better than the photos suggest. My two generational family of 20 was perfectly comfortable and fit so well. None of the bathrooms were photographed but they were all lovely! Do be sure to bring a hairdryer if you need one and don’t forget some bar soap as well.
The kitchen was phenomenal, so big and stocked with everything you could possibly need (though the griddle might need to be replaced as we couldn’t keep it hot for long.) The house even had two laundry rooms, each one bigger than the one I have in my own home, plus they were stocked with all kinds of detergent. Nice touch for sure.
I had read some reviews about bees but I only saw two flying around the entire four days of our visit.
Truly spectacular vacation home that I would recommend to any large group looking for a beautiful getaway. My children were all so sad to leave. Thank you Steve for sharing this gem with us!

Wonderful house!
As the pictures show, this place looks great from the outside, and has an amazing main level. I was pleasantly surprised that the other parts of the house were also very nice. We were there during a hot week in July, and was impressed with the very good air conditioning. Wi-fi was also excellent. One small flaw - no bathroom on upper level other than master BR. Our group was 12 adults & 4 kids, but this place is set up for maybe 8 adults & 8 kids. Some adults got stuck in upper loft & small BR with twin beds. The grill was also very nice and very large. Also enjoyed the fire pit and corn hole / ping pong. Great place!

Perfect Family Reunion Spot
This house was the perfect spot for our family reunion. Our communication with the owner was quick and responsive. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes and the grill had plenty of propane. Oh! And the sunsets off the deck are unmatched!

Great place and location
Plenty of space for family. And close to activities at theme park or local lakes or shopping. We roasted s’mores on the campfire, barbecued and played outside and did some nice walks

Beautiful place to stay
Redemption Rock Lodge was great for our family vacation. Beautiful scenery and the lodge was very nice. It was clean and we loved it. We had grandkids ranging from 2 to 16 and they loved playing outside with the games they had inside. We spent most of our days at Silverwood Theme Park, Hiawatha bike trail etc but always came back to the lodge to eat and just spend time as a family in the evenings watching the sun set. I highly recommend this lodge.

Family trip
It was overwhelming beautiful! The pictures were spot on. It was very majestic. Three families came from Washington, one family from Montana, and one family with an RV from Nebraska. We had a bbq outside on the covered picnic area on a delux bbq. We had conversations around the fire pit while some we’re playing horseshoes, playing ping pong, or on the hammock. The kitchen had more than you needed with two ovens and an extra large refrigerator. The furnishings and decor were very lodge like and comfortable. I took pictures of the furniture to show my brothers who have built some log furniture. Oh, I forgot to say about the sunsets, view, and front deck, so amazing. An extra kitchen downstairs, two laundry rooms, the bathrooms were very nice. We are not uppity people so for us it was top notch. Did I mention 950 acres? We went to Silverwood for two days, but some would have loved to hike around and especially to Redemption Rock. Also notice the paintings done by a family member. The owner was helpful, kind, and kept me in the loop. Our kids from NE and MO hadn’t seen the rest of us for over a year so our time was too short, but we feel very blessed. Thanks to Steve for a wonderful family trip, your place is amazing and our kids and grandkids had a wonderful time!
