About this cabin rental
Used formerly as a loggers cabin in the early 1900's; this cabin is in the woods with privacy, yet only a 15-20 min drive to Penn State University. The cabin features a stone wood fireplace, a half bath and separate shower area. There are two bedrooms on the second floor with three twin beds and one queen in the front bedroom and three twin beds and one double in the back bedroom. There is a TV downstairs with a fire stick upon which You Tube TV is provided. So, please bring your passwords for any and all streaming needs. There is cell phone coverage and WIFI is available. An outdoor fire pit along with numerous hiking trails also exist.
If you're looking for a party cabin, this isn't it! Responsible adult inquiries only. Please no smoking, no pets.
The pond is a short walk and is stocked with large mouth bass, perch, and catfish; and is catch and release only. In the summer, top water lures and weedless lures work best.
The stream that runs through the property is small, but large enough that it is stocked with trout by the local sportsman club.
We continue to ask all guests to bring their own bed linens, pillows, toiletries, bath towels, and any blanket / comforters; you may desire.

My daughter wanted to celebrate her masters degree graduation with a cook out, yard games and a bon fire. Warriors Mark fit that bill and allowed us to have a wonderful celebration. The property is gorgeous, had everything we needed and was close to State College. I think it would be equally lovely for a fall or winter get away.

Enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the cabin! Our teenage boys enjoyed being able to fish in the pond and we all loved sitting by the fire and catching up in the evenings!

Just what we like. Nothing fancy but beats a hotel by a thousand times. Really did not utilize property as much as we would have liked, due to camp at PSU, but we look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay and appreciated the privacy & seclusion of this cabin, while also being only about 20 minutes away from State College. The living room is cozy, with several large, comfy couches, a TV, and a wood-burning fireplace -- it was a good gathering place. The dining area has a huge table with plenty of room for family game night, and there's also a smaller table as well. Kitchen is well-equipped. Lots of beds to choose from on the second level, although the stairs getting up there are very steep and shallow, and a bit tricky to navigate. The half-bath and separate shower room are a little tight, space-wise, but for our small group (3 people) it was fine. Front porch has some of the most comfortable wooden rocking chairs we've ever sat in & made for a lovely place to sit & rock while reading a book. Outdoor firepit is large, very nice, with plenty of seating. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate for much of our stay; we were able to use the firepit on our first night, but non-stop cold rain the next day prevented us from exploring the surrounding property or doing much of anything outside that whole day. We'd like to come back again at a different time of year when it's a little warmer and leaves are on the trees, check out the trails and hopefully do some fishing in the pond or stream.

The cabin was the perfect place to relax after a day at State College for my son’s wrestling tournament. The boy fished and sat by the fire. Great place to return to again when we are not so busy and can enjoy all the cabin has to offer!

The cabin is cozy but there are definitely no frills. Bring your own bedding, pillows, & towels. The property is secluded & on a private lot. The fire pit is the highlight of this stay! About a 30 minute drive from Beaver Stadium. Would recommend this stay & would come again!

This cabin checks off all the boxes to a perfect vacation about 15 min. from PSU. It was extremely clean, stocked well for cooking, comfortable beds, and an awesome fireplace.
Also, If nature and outdoors is your scene look no further.
We look forward to going back.

The cabin was well maintained and clean. The property was spacious and quiet. Being only a short distance from State College, I was surprised at how private it felt. The number of beds was also appreciated and all guests had plenty of space. The kitchen’s amenities were also a welcomed surprise as we ended up bringing more than necessary. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay!

The house has a lot of property and trails to explore. The house was well-stocked with staples that are annoying to have to buy when using a VRBO (i.e. Ziploc bags, cooking spray, etc).

Great place. Quiet but we’ll appointed cabin not far from State College.

Every year we take our 6 grandchildren away for 2 nights 3 days. This was a perfect retreat, 2 1/2 hours from home and driving distance from an amusement park we visited.

Cabin was nice, as described. Fished the pond and caught a few blue gills and bass. Steps are steep, my son fell twice before he figured out how to navigate them. Was exactly as expected though

We booked the cabin as a base while attending a camp at PSU. Everything was perfect, from our initial communication with the owner, to the easy check in information and our actual stay. The cabin was everything and more after a long day at camp! We will be absolutely visiting again and this cabin would be our first choice each time.

We had an amazing time at Craig's cabin. We got to see plenty of wildlife and my sons loved the pond and creek. Easter morning we woke to several Turkey's talking all around us. It was an incredible moment. We'll definitely be visiting again.
Thank you!!

Enjoyed a short weekend getaway to Warriors Mark. Basketball brought us to the State College area, it was so nice not hotel it, and have the cabin at our disposal. The time at the cabin was limited, but very relaxing and chill surrounded by nature.

Beautiful property and the host was very accommodating. Only thing the steps in the house are steep for those who may have mobility issues but other than that peaceful and serene.

The location is great. Stop by the local farm for some fresh apples and apple cider. Beautiful cabin. Well kept and super cozy. Wish we could have stayed longer and had time to build a fire. Will be back!

The cabin was a great place to reset and relax. It was close enough to be able to go out places if you wanted but we were content staying in. Between fishing the pond and watching the wildlife from the front porch, we had no reason to leave. Everything was really clean and organized. When I had a question about the tv, I got a response from the owner quickly and they were super helpful. We’d definitely come back

Beautiful, peaceful spot!
Craig’s cabin is absolutely perfect for a peaceful vacation for my family. It felt far away from it all but was very convenient to State College. The property was beautiful and there was lots of room for my kids to explore. We hope to return next year!

Chill
This cabin was really clean. Surprised that there was one small 1/2 bath and no separate bedrooms to share amongst 4 adults. We made it work. Would do this again but jus me and wife.

Home away from home
We booked this home to unplugged and that we did. The kids loved the space and got to catch fireflies in the evening, go fishing in the morning and we loved sitting by the fire both inside and outside.
Penn State was about 20 mins away which was amazing. Looking forward to staying here again!

Cabin stay
We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Craig was extremely helpful beginning months out when we began planning our stay. We were looking for a relaxing spot to spend the week while our daughter was at camp and it didn’t disappoint! While sitting outside we enjoyed the chirping of birds and watching deer and bunnies play in the field!
The one difficulty if you’re flying in to the location would be that there are no linens provided (sheets, pillows, bath towels). Craig did kindly remind us of this before our visit (it was stated on the listing but I had overlooked it so I was grateful for the reminder) but it is not easy/convenient to fly with all of those extras.
That being said, it was a great week over all! If you’re looking for a clean and quiet getaway this will be a perfect spot!
Thanks again Craig for all your help!

Quiet little place
It's a very nice quiet little place sits back in the woods all by itself. It feels like you're so far away but you're close to everything. The pictures were a little misleading but the stay was well worth it. Craig was very responsive with any questions that I had.

Excellent communication with the property owner. Fantastic place to rest and relax, cook some steaks and sit by a beautiful fire pit and chat the night away. This place is highly recommended.
