A lovely, comfortable, well-equipped cottage. Close to lots of good sights. A very nice welcome pack, and lots of good information about local amenities.
All good and lovely

Location as expected.
A wonderful part of GtBritain.
Plenty of other interesting places around to visit.
Nothing else to say except,,,
Hardly any rain, maybe overcast at times,,but hey it ‘s a holiday.
Not suitable for. Those with mobility. Problems. Too many steps and the stairs raised a problem
Did not expect it to be so noisy and busy with traffic at peak times.
Had. To be very aware when walking up or down the road.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable. Great location for walks and exploring a bit further in various directions. The welcome pack with the delicious goodies was an extra bonus.
We cannot fault it in any way!

Beautiful, well thought out modernised cottage with everything we needed and some lovely touches including a generous welcome pack.
Everything was clean and comfortable, cute little private courtyard garden. Very dog friendly. Loved it!
Only one tiny downside and that's proximity to the road. A tiny but busy lane. Though the cottage maintains great privacy even with the road so close.
It didn't really bother us apart from when a large lorry got stuck in the lane right outside at 4 am for about half an hour.
No fault of the cottage or owner, just an unfortunate incident

TheThe cottage is full of character and has been well designed.
There is lots of attention to detail to make it feel like home from home.
2 toilets one upstairs and one down is great.
Hand rails by the steps was helpful.
Lovely welcome gifts and card left by the owners.
The location is beautiful and peaceful and we really were not troubled by the road or the parking space at all like others have mentioned so don't let that put you off at all.
Some more attention to basics would really enhance the property such as making sure between guests all cutlery has been cleaned and chopping boards.
Cleaning the windows.
Replacing some of the items in need of renewing or revamping such as a new kettle or giving the present one a descale, some throws on the arm chairs or new ones to hide stains and some new outdoor furniture to sit on with the hedges trimmed back would really improve this lovely cottage even further as it really is a lovely place to stay and it is clear alot of well intentioned thought has gone into making it so lovely by the owners

Delightful and well cared for cottage. Warm, cosy and like a home from home. Everything we needed was provided. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack and the ecological products. Lots of great walks in the woods almost straight from the door. 10 minutes walk uphill to Symonds Yat rock and 10 -15 minutes downhill to the River Wye in both directions, with many other routes leading on from there. Because of this we didn't use our vehicle and decided to really relax and enjoy the local surroundings as they were lovely.
Vehicle lights from the road adjacent to the cottage shone straight into the upstairs bedroom window. A blackout blind would help with this, as the road was busy early on a weekday morning when it was still dark.

Beautiful greeting selection and amazing location for the Wye. Dog walking from the front door in many directions.
Shane no hot water on the taps. (Known and to be fixed at some point, shower and dish washer not impacted)
