I can’t say enough nice things about this property. The manager is kind and attentive, and the home had every amenity you could want. It felt lived in, not like a cold, sterile rental. The location is PERFECT and was within walking distance of every type of cuisine your heart could possibly desire. If you’re coming to Portland, stay here. Full stop!

The property was fantastic!! Great house with great amenities. The property was very clean and we had everything we needed! Was perfect for a group getaway! The host was easy to communicate with and extremely helpful when we forgot one of our pillows. Will definitely stay here again!

This house is lovely. Super clean, all the kitchen items you could need, great location. Owner let us check in a few hours early. My only issue was that the owner lives right next door and was a bit in our business the entire week. She was watering plants in the backyard on day 2, spoke with many of my family members and friends on the porch throughout the week. She was pleasant, but I found it weird to have her right there the whole time.

We rented this property for a family gathering and it was great! The house was clean, well stocked and the location couldn't be better. The host was very helpful and answered any questions we had. I would definitely rent this property again.

Beautiful, updated property with lots of charm. Very clean. The amenities were plentiful, including lots of extra towels, pillows, and outlets for all our devices. Can't forget the updated kitchen and plentiful bathrooms. You'll never forget Homer Simpson. LOL!

Extended family were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay together. This place was ideal - 7 of us fit very comfortably in the house and Belladonna was a great host. The location was great - It was a short walk to coffee shops and a choice of restaurants. An added bonus was that it was very close and convenient to the airport (as several of us had early morning flights!).

This place was terrific! We had a group of family & friends in for several days for our daughter's wedding. The place was clean & fresh with many thoughtful little touches to make our stay comfortable. The finishes - tile, paint & wallpaper - were of good quality and added fun little touches everywhere. The neighborhood was walkable, with restaurants, coffee shops, and a very nice market nearby. The host, Belladonna, was welcoming and concerned to make our stay special. We would definitely recommend this place for any larger group.

Spacious, Amenities and Location
Our group of 10 booked this house for MLK wknd. We absolutely loved the space (3 levels of rooms and living space, all exactly as described), the location was super convenient to Alberta Arts and cost only 15-20 to grab an Uber or Lyft to Downtown/Pearl, and the amenities allowed us all to make home cooked meals and do some laundry. Loved the Homer Simpson bathroom! Everyone made sure they took selfies with him! Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook it again if we’re back in town and it’s available

For our large group, is was perfect!
Location: 15 minutes from airport, 15 minutes from downtown, Groceries and liquor store a ten minute walk, Alberta district with fascinating shops, restaurants, and people. Plus the owner lives next door and she is a delight. An excellent choice for our group of 10 people.

Bella has provided everything we could have looked for!
We were three couples using the property. Each of us had their own level with a king bed and either one or two full baths. The house provided us with space to be together as well as privacy for showering, sleeping, etc. Two levels each had an extra bedroom with a pair of twin beds which we did not need, but seemed great if there were families. The lower level was at street level....not a basement. It had its own entrance, kitchen, laundry facilities. An indoor staircase connected it to the rest of the house. Great property.....walking distance to a GREAT bakery and other eating establishments. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY

Very chic house!
We had such a lovely time at the Ginkgo House! Our group of five friends were very well accommodated here. Close to everything but not too close to hustle bustle. Loved all the utensils and other special touches. Everything we needed was at hand. The decor was spectacular!

Wonderful Home ! Very clean and well equipped the attention to design and detail is impressive.
My sister and I came to Portland to wedding dress shop for my niece with all the brides maids. The location was perfect, we could walk to the market and restaurants are also just down the street.
We all where very impressed with the decor and the environmental awareness the home owners had when setting up the house.
The kitchen is modern yet retro and every basic was thought of without being cluttered.
The bathrooms are clean and spacious with excellent lighting. Here again the owners have brought together design and implemented welcoming environmental practices ( no tiny plastic bottles) bulk liquid soap and small soap slices. Very clever!
The living room and sitting room have ample seating and our 8 month old and 3 year old were very safe and comfortable with the layout.
We were pleased to find a high chair and child proofing in the house. The family games for the littles were great and the games for the rest of the crew were a welcome addition.
The bedrooms were comfortable and had plenty of connectivity for phones and laptops. The linens were perfect with lots of extra pillows!
I loved the organic coffee and the view of the neighborhood in the morning was a wonderful way to start the day.

Perfect for families or large groups!
We're so glad we found this gem! We were visiting from out of state with 6 family members. Plenty of room for all of us and well stocked with everything you need. We stayed 6 nights in the main section and added the downstairs rental for 2 nights for our college-student son and his 4 friends. Worked out perfectly. We made a few of our meals in the main kitchen that has everything you could need to cook and serve. The home has been recently remodeled and is in a very nice upper scale neighborhood with lots of restaurants, coffee houses, brew pubs, grocery stores, and more nearby. Every morning we walked one block to Extracto coffee house for the best espresso drinks and super friendly staff. In the evenings we walked to Concordia Ale House or Expatriate bar, both close by. We were a little concerned that street parking might be difficult, but there were always spaces right outside the house. If you have a large group, you'll be very happy here.

Gingko Guesthouse
Our trip to Oregon was wonderful, beautiful scenery, fabulous restaurants and many opportunities for sightseeing.
The accommodations were first class. Bella thought of everything we could have wanted or needed and more! There were six adults and we had plenty of room. The home was immaculate, close to restaurants, and shops and was decorated beautifully. We had a wonderful time and give Bella a 5-star rating for her concern and excellent recommendations!

Bella, we all loved the house! everything was convenient and clean. We enjoyed the stay and the street festival. Alberta is a lovely neighborhood. Hope you took a moment to read my friend Paulette's poem she left in the visitor's book. Thank you again for letting us stay in your home. Lynn Atkinson

Lovely place, fun city
We visited Portland for Spring Break from the East Coast. Two families (plus a grandma) with a total of 5 adults and 3 kids. The house was perfect for us - with each couple getting a floor to ourselves and grandma using the bedroom on the main level. We didn't do much cooking - but the kitchen was well stocked with the basics (and in some cases the no-so-basics) Location was great too - with a delicious Italian restaurant around the corner as well as a pizza place, awesome coffee shop, neighborhood bar and more.
The owner was lovely. Greeted us on arrival, responsive to quick questions, etc.
Highly recommend this place!!

Nice home in a great location.
We rented the entire house (top unit and lower unit) providing us 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. The house had all the amenities you might need. On a clear day you can see Mt St Helens from the kitchen window! The location is walking distance to so many great restaurants, shops and bars in the Alberta neighborhood. Within a half block there's a couple of restaurants, yoga studio and vintage store and within three blocks a great grocery store, BBQ stand, pizza, liquor store and pub.
