We had the best time here and didn't want to leave! The views are incredible!! I loved spending my mornings down by the water watching the beautiful sunrise over the lake! Randall is a fantastic host and provided all the info we could need to navigate the property and the area. He also went above and beyond by letting us know as soon as the house was ready on the day of check in and allowed us to extend our check out time as well! We really appreciated that the house was stocked with paper goods, coffee, and even firewood for the fire pit. We had everything we needed during our stay. The house is in a great location. Only minutes from downtown but in a very quiet secluded area!
I am so appreciative of the accommodating pet policy! We stayed here with our dogs and they had so much fun! There are gates on the deck so we could keep the dogs contained when we were out there. The access to the lake was perfect! The dock area is secluded enough that the dogs were able to play in the water freely without disturbing the neighbors. There is a graded area that slopes right into the water so the dogs were able to walk in and out with ease and it gets deep enough near the shore that they were able to stay close and swim. Ithaca was a very dog friendly city! There were plenty of nearby restaurants that allowed dogs and countless hiking trails with breathtaking views of all the waterfalls!
I would absolutely recommend staying here! We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Plenty of space for the 3 of us, comfortable, lots of outdoor space. Listing is very accurate. We appreciated the use of the kayaks/floats and it was really nice that staples were provided (I hate buying ketchup on vacation and using 10% of it). House is close to downtown.
Owner was really easy to work with and very communicative. We are very happy and will definitely look to rent here again next time we’re in Ithaca.

My husband and our couple friends stayed for a few nights. The driveway down is a bit steep but I felt safe. The spiral staircase is thin, but again safe enough. The views and amenities (kayaks, floats etc) were stunning. I seriously could not get enough of the views and birds. The jacuzzi was a phenomenal retreat after a long day of hiking. 15 min drive to anywhere you want to go in Ithaca. Would 100% recommend.

Pictures do not the property justice, great space and supplies available to just show up and begin enjoying our trip. The property manager was incredibly helpful with instructions and diagrams to make arrival/departure smooth. And anything we needed to communicate during our stay he was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with overall.

Love this place. Beautiful home and location. On lake, close to town, falls, winery, brewery; great walking and hiking trails a walk from house. I look forward to another visit.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful with a well stocked kitchen for cooking, great hot tub, and beautiful lake views. You’re only minutes from everything in the Ithaca area while still being out of the city. The Blackstone rail to trail is also just across the road.

As many have said the pictures online don't do the property justice. It is a beautiful, clean, well maintained property. The owner is very accommodating, and the home is stocked with pantry staples and basic toiletries. The property was near perfect for our family vacation. I would highly recommend.

This place was the perfect landing spot for my family and pup for the week. Randall is a fantastic host that goes above and beyond to make sure you have what you need for your stay from basic toiletries, and linens to cooking spices, eggs, milk, coffee, and creamer! The water was the perfect place to hang out and swim at after a day of exploring and hiking, and the blow up rafts/mats were a plus! I would absolutely stay again, and 100% recommend it to anyone else!

The house was just perfect for our week long stay. The house has everything you need for a getaway. The location is PERFECT. It’s so easy to get to so many different places in Ithaca. The view from the living room is AMAZING. The owner provided easy instructions for everything and was more than accommodating. We will definitely be back.

We come to Ithaca every year over 4th of July. This year we decided to rent a lake house and work from there for a week. Good WiFi and enough space for my husband and I to spread out was extremely important. This house was perfect. Great location just a few miles outside of Ithaca Commons, great view of the lake from the deck, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and bedsheets, a built-in work station where my husband worked and a big dining room table for me. And, the most important, WiFi was great. Not one single glitch. The host sent me detailed instructions and was in frequent communication, which was very helpful. All in all a great experience. We will definitely be back.

A very comfortable house in great location. This house served the purpose for our adult group of four for a long weekend of hikes, brew pubs and laughs. Both bedrooms are upstairs and the dog would not climb the metal spiral stairs, but that wasn’t a huge problem. The house is clean and well-stocked and the beds are comfortable. The deck offers a nice view of the lake, hot tub and plenty of seating. We didn’t take advantage of water activities because it was cool and rainy, but we did enjoy beautiful hikes at nearly Buttermilk Falls and Taughanic (sp?) State Park. Randall was very helpful and flexible.

This spacious home was perfect for our stay. We were able to bring our dog to keep our family while on this wonderful vacation. My son's hearts were full being able to fish in February. My husband and I were relaxed watching from the hot tub. The owner was extremely accommodating, and responded right away

What a great spot! The location is amazing. So close to state parks and the city of Ithaca, yet when you are at the locale house you feel like you are completely off the beaten path. The pictures really don’t do it justice. I think the accommodations are nicer than the pictures make it seem.
We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to stay again!

The views from this property are beautiful. There is everything you could possibly need inside and outside to enjoy the property. It was very comfortable here. We really appreciated the kayaks and outdoor stuff provided.

The location of this house is awesome because it’s a Great Lake view but also close to Ithaca that you can get to restaurants and enjoy all local attractions. Other waterfront locations are further down the lake and 30+ min to town. This is 10 mins drive to downtown. Love the expendable gates in the decks for pets. I would say the house can comfortably house 2 adults and 2 young kids. But 6 is a bit of a stretch because the pull out couch is in the only family room not a basement so no privacy so just important to know. Randall was great in communication will keep in mind in future visits!

We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Cayuga! The house was clean, well stocked and had wonderful views of the lake. Very quiet location and rarely saw or heard neighbors.. The owner provided detailed instructions and responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks that were provided! Cass Park was a quick drive down the road for walks along the lake. Ithaca is just a few minutes away very convenient for restaurants and shopping. Would definately rent again!

My niece and her fiance-- with their well behaved dog -- stayed at the Lake House for two weeks during a family gathering while we (poignantly) readied my mother's house for sale. They loved every part of it -- the view of the lake, access to the water and kayaks below, the hot tub, etc. -- once inviting the rest of us to an outside gathering around the fire pit to make s'mors. Our family highly recommends the Cayuga Lake House..

Beautiful lake views from deck. A little tricky to navigate steep driveway and hot tub didn't seem to get very hot but otherwise no complaints. Very nice and understanding owner.

Wonderful lakefront property!
The house was extremely comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful outdoor area. There are two full bathrooms which made getting ready for an evening out a breeze. Randall was always available and communicative. I highly recommend this place!

Nice place, in an amazing location
Such an incredibly cute place, but the location was really extraordinary. The kitchen was incredibly well appointed. Loved the views, but I was incredibly appreciative of the thoughtful directions explaining how to access the trail across the road. That was the highlight of my trip. A dedicated place to run, walk and cycle so close to the house. I enjoyed my waterfall filled runs! Thanks!

It’s all about the view and the lake
Very comfortable and well-equipped home. The spiral staircase to the bedroom level was difficult for some family members to use. The deck and outdoor spaces are terrific.

Close to the lake
The host was very responsive and made we were arriving as planned and had the house ready. The kayaks were a nice bonus. The only caution I would say is about the spiral staircase, which was cool, but with the bedrooms upstairs you have to bring luggage up the staircase.

Great location!
We had an amazing time here! This house is located in an awesome location! Very close to city of Ithaca and right on the water. The house has wonderful charm to it! The hot tub is a great touch to the patio! My only suggestion is to bring extra lights for the patio outside as it was pretty dark, maybe some bistro lights to brighten it up and enhance the vibe! Randall was wonderful and very communicative if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this spot!

relaxing vacation
we stayed for a week. Although the weather did not cooperate the entire week, we were able to relax and enjoy the house and all the amenities. Any questions were quickly answered and addressed. The house is conveniently located to many restaurants, parks, and waterfalls etc.

Fantastic Place!
Great place to get away. Nice lake front, fire pit, and great views. The only thing to worry about is the steep driveway and lots of stairs, so if you have limited mobility, it’s a challenge. Otherwise it’s beautiful!

Great stay for me and my family
Dr. Corey is very good with communication prior, during, and after our stay. We did not encounter any issues at all during our stay. My kids loved staying here, notably the spiral staircase earned high marks from them.
The highlights are mornings and afternoons playing in the pebble beach, taking canoe rides, and being in close proximity to both hiking as well as Ithaca Restaurants. We grilled one night followed by lakeside s'mores over the fire pit.
As a physician and self proclaimed germ freak (even pre-pandemic), I was impressed that my arrival wipedown of touch surfaces with my own Lysol wipes didn't even return any dirt, indicating this place is cleaner than many hotel rooms for which I stay :)
Great place to stay.

Wonderful lakeside retreat!
This was the perfect spot to get away for a couple days - luxury in lakeside setting! The photos don’t do the space justice. Owner was responsive and helpful, and contactless check in/out was a breeze. Thank you!
