This was the 2nd time renting the property and we are so glad we did! We enjoy the buildings amenities and the shops and eateries all walking distance to this building. We were able to find street parking each night as well. We had to work remotely from the unit and had no issues with the wifi. We had some issues with the washer but they were quick to address the situation. Great property...will return!

We were able to walk to a lot of items on our to do list was disappointed that we only had 1towel for each individual. When we tried to wash our towels I took almost an entire day to dry. The washer did not seem to spin them out enough.

Loved the area. Grocery store across street and coffee shop in building
For vegans, vegan restaurant in same building. Separation of bedrooms ideal. Liked the layout. Plenty of windows to open for fresh air. AC worked great for warmer days. Close to restaurants.

The place was tidy and comfortable enough for a brief stay. The biggest selling point is the location- it's across the street from a nice supermarket and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. It also feels safer staying here, especially with kids- as you have to enter a building that needs a security code at night and a key fob to go up in the elevator to get to it. Parking is tricky/scarce during the day, but at night it was easy enough to find a spot to park overnight (spots are marked for 2-4 hr parking during the day but no limit between 7-9am).

We loved the property, apartment, location and amenities! Enjoyed the outdoor area on the 3rd floor. The grocery store across street was a big plus. Great walkable area. We were able to secure off street parking. The apartment was clean and very well designed. We enjoyed our stay with the exception of a few issues. 1. The access code did not work when we arrived, luckily someone let us in to get our key fob (property manager told us they were having issues with it). 2. It would be nice to have had a second set of keys. With 4 adults it was hard to come and go as we please because you needed the fob in order to access the elevator. 3. There were still issues with the tack strips on the carpet thresholds. Entry door recommended to take off shoes, but with them off we our feet got pricked a few times. (I had seen this in a previous review, so it still was not fixed). 4. It states there would be a keurig machine, I specifically emailed Vacassa ahead of time and was told yes, even though I had seen reviews that there was not one, just a regular coffee maker. Would have been nice to be given an accurate answer from vacassa so we did not pack Kcups. 5. Mid way thru stay someone must have moved in directly above us. We constantly heard pounding and thumping (Kids running and jumping) on our ceiling at night time and early morning. We could not sleep one night and were always woken up the next mornings. Not sure if this is an issue with insulation or renter?

Love the location! There is so much to do around there. But the furniture and mattresses need to be replaced. Also leaving a little detergent or some coffee filters goes a long way so your guests don’t have to buy everything for a 4 night stay. We travel to Portland regularly and hope to stay here again if upgrades or updates are done.

Cute little apartment, doors are like sliding mirror doors in the bedroom. When I first looked I wasn’t sure if there was doors 😆. Close by lots of places / bars, super close if you ride the scooters that are always around! Overall, good cost for location and apartment is cute.

A great home away from home with everything you could possibly need. I highly recommend this place.

First of all, the location is wonderful! We enjoyed the market across the street, the coffee shop downstairs, and the quick walks to multiple restaurants. We did not anticipate how inconvenient street parking would be or the cost of it. That is something we will pay more attention to in the future.
The condo was ok. As a family of 6, we would definitely prefer this to a hotel. The cleanliness was ok. I could tell it had been cleaned but stains on the beds and chairs made you feel like it wasn’t as clean as you would like. It has one TV and it barely works. We couldn’t use it while we were there. It’s not a huge deal but it would’ve been nice to have it working. The biggest hassle was trying to get ahold of anyone about issues or questions. I think a lot of our issues could have been solved if we could’ve talked to someone in a timely manner. Overall, the condo is a good space with lots of natural light. With a few minor fixes (stable chairs, extra bedding for couch, deeper clean, better communication), I would recommend it.

Overall stay was good. Disappointed that we didn’t have a keurig as mentioned. But coffee shop attached to building was convenient. Heat worked but was so loud for the older people we couldn’t talk without using our teacher voices. The key needs to have graphite because key was hard to use… the location was perfect and the apartment was very clean but bring your own everything.

Great location and nice accomodations. The unit had everything we needed to cook our thanksgiving dinner. The grocery store is a one minute walk.

The location was great. We had small children and the market across the street was convenient.

Picture showed a keurig so we brought k-cups for coffee - there was no keurig. Some candles or flashlights would be nice to have on hand - we lost power for 5-6 hours our 2nd night there. Pretty skimpy with towels. There were only 5-towels for 4-people. And the washing machine broke w/ our clothes on it - but there were very quick to remedy this by letting us use the washing machine in another unit. Great location and overall a nice unit - but could use a few more little touches to make it better.

Awesome location. We always found street parking on the block, so that was not an issue. There is no long term parking very close though. Overall we liked the place. There were some damaged items (one of the kitchen chairs had a broken leg, there are still some tacs or staples in spots on the carpets, master bathroom faucet felt like it could fall off at any time). The condo was very clean, just needs some minor maintenance. Good for a family who will be out and about.

This was the perfect location for us to attend a wedding. Lots of fun places close by. Grocery shopping is super easy, nice restaurants within walking distance. Everyone we can in contact with in the building was extremely nice and friendly!

We stayed Sat-Thurs at this location and loved Slabtown. Having the New Seasons across the street was fantastic. Parking was a light challenge, but we always ended up finding a spot. The only thing that would have improved our stay (and a warning to other parents) the carpet here is thin - so the carpet tacks kept injuring my child's feet. I laid down towels over transitions that had the worst ones (master bath doorway and master door). But this would be a no-go for crawling babies. The other thing would be, the mattress on the master bed is LOUD. Like, you turn over in the night and it screams like a wraith. Everything else was fabulous and any issues we had were promptly handled.

This is a clean, well-maintained home. It's contemporary and well stocked. The neighborhood is really pretty, the supermarket across the street is a total bonus.

The location is great, we have stayed in this unit three times including most recently in January. Between January and March the unit has sustained significant damage. The doors to the washer and dryer have been ripped off, one of the cool Euro-hinges below the sink has broken, the walls have several significant ding marks on them. Basically, someone needs to go in and do some renovations.

The apartment is very nice and close to many restaurants and across the street from a really nice market. The neighborhood is well kept.

Our family of 5 loved our week long stay here. The beds and the pull out couch in the living room were comfortable. The space was bright and airy. We enjoyed opening the full length windows during our meals to people watch. The building has great amenities and the location is walkable to wonderful restaurants, grocery stores and boutiques. Would stay here again in the Portland area!

Amazing Location
This is the perfect location with all the needed amenities. I’m very eager to get back and stay again

Bedding was not washed
the duvet cover on one of the beds, and the quilts had a very strong dirty odor, like they have not been washed in a long time. major problem. this would not have ever been allowed at any hotel. shower curtains in both showers also were old and dirty. the rest of the place was clean enough. location was great. instructions for finding key were very confusing. we did not know what floor the key was going to be on. no mention in the instructions about elevator key fob.

Really nice place overall
Master bed is still loud. I say still because another review had that issue. Sounds like the mattress is wrapped in a diaper. On the positive side separate heaters in the rooms is pro.

Nice place and great location!
Loved the layout of the unit. It was spacious and there's a lot of natural light. Very well located too, in a fun part of Portland.

Great Place/Location
My overall experience was great - location was great, place was clean, as advertised and comfortably slept 4 adults. I would recommend staying here!
6.0 / 10.0
great location, nice condo, bad heater, inadequate shades
Beautiful condo in a great location. Beds were comfortable. Heater unit was ridiculously loud, and the light leakage through the non-blackout blinds is significant. Those issues would prevent us from renting this unit (or any other unit in the building) again.

This is the third time we have stayed at Q21. The units have always been excellent and come with everything we need. It is great having the grocery store across the street.

Great location, clean & recommended
We loved our stay in Portland, and this building was a great home base. Plenty of food & drink options within walking distance, the apartment and building were clean, well-described, and comfortable. Check-in process was straightforward, and the property managers were communicative and helpful. Recommended!

Beautiful apartment building in a perfect location - much quieter and cleaner than other parts of downtown Portland. Restaurants, shops and everything you need is in close walking distance. The New Seasons market is pretty much a Whole Foods and is across the street. Coffee shop downstairs was open most of the mornings we were there. We had no trouble parking on the street very close to the building. There are lots of electric scooters usually parked in the area if that is your thing as well (we got the Lime app to use them and liked them a lot!).
Unit kitchen had very basic cups, utensils, cookware, dining and cooking supplies. If you want things like bags, foil or plastic wrap you'll need to bring or buy it. The game room on the second floor is SUPERB and the gym is great as well.
Removing one star as the box spring in the master bedroom is so creaky/loud that if you sit on the bed or even roll over gently it makes a ton of noise, so it was tough for us to get a good rest. Our kiddo said it was the same in the guest room. Couldn't fix as it has to do with what the box spring is made of, I think. If this was swapped out we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Otherwise we will likely come back in a different unit in the same building.

Great location, OK unit
Location was in a "renewed" area and its a nice building with adjacent paid parking. Great "whole foods" style market and restaurants right across the street. Unit was OK but beds were like rocks, the washer/dryer door had fallen off without being repaired and "accessory" air conditioner was really loud. Internet speed was solid.

Perfect place - new, clean, and easy.
Our stay was really excellent. We had a very positive experience overall, with no issues. 5 stars out of 5 overall. The only items I can think of that would have made it a 6 stars (out of 5) would be if parking was included in a lot somewhere nearby, and if the unit was equipped with a few more kitchen/cooking items (more pots/pans, dishes, serving bowls/plates……
But those are minor and did not detract from our time here at all.
Thank you!

Convenient!!
Close to grocery store, great restaurants and shopping! Easy check in! Comfortable apartment! Air conditioners in the building are a bit noisy, otherwise all great!’
