Secluded, private, great facilities. Garden is private and secure to allow the dog to roam free in our area and the hosts were super helpful and provided thoughtful extras.
Some gaps in the wood around the doors in windows, a little drafty. Not possible to dry towels, robes etc.

Lovely and spacious the welcome pack was a lovely touch and it had everything you would need for a short trip away

Lovely lodge. Everything was clean and available for what we needed. Great surroundings and short drive to places of interest. There was heating inside the lodge which was helpful for a cold summer night.
There was no tv and no free wifi so on a dull rainy day we had to stay indoors and they would’ve been useful to have for such occasions

EVERYTHING!! Beautiful area, exceptionally clean, had all the facilities you would need, wonderful garden, very dog friendly.
Nothing wrong with the property at all. We had an issue with ‘noisy neighbours’ but that’s not the fault of the owners

Clean, lovely welcome hamper, live music on the Sunday, own gated garden which was perfect for our dog, great location, hot tub is a fab edition.
The mattress was a little springy

Hot tub was amazing, fenced off lodge with good sized garden was perfect for my nervous dog, it gave her the freedom without having to worry about other people or dogs.
The staff were incredibly friendly, both the owners and the guy at the cafe. They were all chatty and friendly, which made the experience so much better.
It's close to nature reserves which meant we didn't have to drive to take our dog out for a walk. The entire weekend we stayed on site and we loved it that way.
The welcome hamper and dog biscuits were such a nice added extra! Something that enhanced the experience.
We didn't need to bring any food or hot beverages, it would have all be provided for, either in the lodge or at the cafe on site. It made it so much easier and meant we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to.
Nothing. It was really nice.
The only suggestions is to bring toothpaste because I didn't as it said Toiletries included and my brain automatically thought that includded toothpaste. Honestly that's the only thing.
I do think it would be a cool idea if the cafe sold a marshmallow / smore kit as we really fancied toasted marshmallows but didn't bring any. I reckon it would sell well especially with kids (or those young at heart anyway).
But honestly apart from those suggestions there isn't anything I would say.

Absolutely beautiful property, every possible need was covered including a complimentary gift basket with loads of yummy goodies. It was a huge plus that our doggo could come too!

The lodge was lovely and well looked after. 😍 The food package was just what we needed after a long journey. We were very informed of how to find the site and any questions were answered quickly 😀
I was happy with everything. My husband would of liked a TV wifi and a wardrobe for his shirts lol 😆 😂 😅

Very peaceful location
Hot tub was exceptional
Nice clean lodge
Welcome basket was a lovely touch
We stayed in bumble bee which had a bee theme from bedding to glasses
Could have done with a step to get in and out of hot tub but nothing major

Loved everything about our stay! Not only were the facilities spotless, the area gorgeous (recommend pubs in Sheepscombe) but the little touches like the welcome pack and dressing gowns were so welcome. I've never stayed somewhere so set-up for dogs either, we have a bolter so having a garden that was totally secure made life so much easier when we were in the hot tub. It rained the whole time which was fine by us as it was a stunning place to hunker down. (Also had breakfast at the cafe which was yummy)

The site was beautiful upon arrival, it was clean and quiet. The lodge was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The welcome hamper was really useful.
We did not use the cafe as we were out and about but walked to a local pub which wasn't too far.
When the cafe shut the only option for food or drinks was to drive out, a vending machine woukd be good with a few snack available.

As a returning customer with a dog, I'm drawn to Cherry Tree due to its homely yet secure setting.
Each lodge has its own secure outdoor area, perfect for your furry friend. You can access miles of countryside direct from the campsite, then unwind in your private hot tub. Perfect.
On arrival, they always provide a little welcome hamper with essentials. There is a cafe on site which does amazing breakfasts!
A short drive away there are local amenities and plenty of country pubs for a mid walk refreshement/lunch stop.
Brilliant countryside location.
The hosts are around should you need them. Other than that, they leave you to enjoy your time away privately. Allowing you to really relax and settle into your home from home.
When we came to use the hot tub, there was a orange/yellow residue around the waterline. Soon wiped off with a cloth. Other than that, everywhere was perfectly clean.
The sink in the bathroom was draining extremely slowly, I initially thought it was completely blocked, but it did eventually drain.
They are literally the only negatives I can think of.

Location was good, grounds maintained to a high standard, Accommodation was very clean, hottub was excellent, bed very comfortable and the welcome pack was a lovely and useful treat. Bathroom was faultless, very good indeed. Parking was easy.
Not enough coat pegs! Although there is not really enough space for a traditional oven, it could have been made clearer that there is a combi microwave and BBQ.

Amazing location, perfect lodge for couple nights away with all the needed facilities. A lovely welcome hamper with fresh eggs and milk from local farm and filled with necessities. A comfy double bed and good shower room. Amazing hot tub perfect for the two of us. Clean and tidy would definitely recommend and will definitely be booking to go back !!!

the property was lovely, we arrived to a hamper with all the essentials which was a nice touch and we were visited by the owners cat called Lily who was very friendly. we had a relaxing time and will definitely be back in the future. The hot tub was amazing!

Location was very quiet, just a few cabins and a cafe on site. Loved the hot tub on the deck. Lovely garden area with BBQ and fire pit. Cute welcome basket with food essential was helpful. You need a car to get to pubs and town, but that's fine. We went to switch off for the weekend, and that's what we got :)
