Beautiful cottage in a great location to all Cotswold activities
The garden isn’t fully enclosed for dog, not a problem but not sure we were aware before we got there.
4.1
comfort of the cottage, birds singing, relaxing atmosphere, fully equipped kitchen allowing you to prepare meals. Log burner for colder days.
there was nothing I did not like there
4.1
cool bedrooms as on ground floor
garden with BBQ was perfect in the sun
(lovely having charcoal provided)
kitchen well stocked with items such as coffee bags, washing up liquid.
property very clean and beds were very comfy
it was all good

nice cottage. very clean and had everything u needed
we Went with a German Shepherd.
Bedrooms were downstairs in the lounge is upstairs. This caused a problem when trying to get a dog up a set of wooden spiral stairs. And getting her down again was a nightmare. The garden wasn’t fenced in so we couldn’t let our dog out on her own and the cottage itself was right next to a main busy road which was very noisy and not very relaxing

We like the location
It was a bit chilly to stay in cottage this time although there were heating in each room we were conscious of the energy bill.

The cottage is lovely, well decorated, very clean, has all the bits in the kitchen you could need, really cosy set up. We found some lovely bedspreads in the wardrobes, perfect for the chilly night. Nice touch. The garden at the back was brilliant for early evening drinks. From what we saw of the owners they were very friendly. Easy to access the cottage, with a keybox outside.
The mattress was very firm which is good if you like that but I woke up with backache, could perhaps do with a topper. Also the shower is not the most powerful. Spiral staircase bit rickety. Really noisy flooring, the bedrooms being downstairs meant that when someone was moving about upstairs the flooring creaked a lot, kept me awake a bit. Old building I know so probably to be expected, part of the character perhaps.

Lovely cottage in a convenient location for local walks & activities. Had a fabulous week here & visited lots of places suitable for families that aren’t too far away.

The property was particularly well designed, equipped and very comfortable.
The property is very close to the main road and while the noise was not particularly intrusive to us, might be annoying to some.

Location was good for visiting Gloucester and Cotswolds. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and reasonably well furnished. Some nice touches like fresh coffee and tea bags provided. The hosts were excellent and could not do more.
There is little we did not like but the property is within 40 metres of the very busy 417 dual carriage way and so you will get some noise. There was a minor issue with shower hose leaking but hosts fixed this.

The location was good. Property was clean
Was not a dog friendly property especially for large breeds. Upstairs could be very hot in summer.

Beautifully clean cottage which was well equipped. We had a comfortable stay. Attractive garden to rear. The owner, John, was very helpful. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the views and walks of this area of the Cotswolds, but......
Unfortunately, the cottage is located close to a very noisy main road. Our quiet trip away was noisier than being at home! Some may find the fact the you have to walk around the outside of the building to reach the garden a drawback.

The hosts were absolutely fabulous, attentive and engaging. Locally situated, the hosts were there to greet us upon arrival and were there to attend to any small asks that we had. For example, they set up our BBQ for us in the garden and prepared the garden furniture for us to use which was very magnanimous. This key feature made the weekend experience extremely enjoyable and proves again that it is the people that can make the experience what it is, not just the place.

amazing property
