It ok for an alternative when other preferred location not available.

Although its classed as an executive room its fairly basic but clean and tidy.

The bed wasn't that great I prefer the Premier Inn beds which as much more comfortable. The walk in shower is better than a shower over the bath but not very practicable of the water floods over the floor.

Facilities ok apart from previous comment

I had booked a room for my disabled father under the understanding that there was a walk-in shower. Upon arrival, he found out there was a normal over bath shower that was not suitable for his needs. He was offered a seat to help him, but had I known in advance that the room I wanted was not available, I would not have booked. I feel this should have been explained prior to booking

Very disappointing , but thanks for asking, the hotel didn’t

Location

The pool has gone, but the room is still expensive so that was confusing. Nobody told us the pool had gone. The staff weren’t altogether welcoming , the room was small. We asked for a quiet room but we’re put amongst families.

I had an excellent stay.

There was an excellent choice of breakfast, all cooked and presented well. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable. The bed was VERY comfortable.

Very Poor Sleep

Location good, adequate breakfast and facilities.

Noisy room. The hotel has a dog friendly policy. While I like dogs, I do not want my sleep disturbed from them barking throughout the night and there were dogs right next door to our room. This is not considering guest comfort in the slightest!

Room was clean Staff were friendly More coffee and milk was provided when asked for

Police were present in reception removing a resident. We returned to the hotel around 12.30 and down the corridor by the reception to our room was a man sat on the couch with his feet up covered in a blanket.not nice to see.

Modern Room - nice decor. Very quiet considering it was close to motorway.bed comfortable and nice pillows. Would defiantly recommend.

Would have been nice to have herbal tea in the bedroom and a fridge. Breakfast was a little cold and a little difficult to reach the bread at the back of the basket onto of the toaster. would of been nice to have a selection of coffee eg - latte

Great value and clean but noisy!

Super clean, great value, reasonable restaurant food and friendly staff.

The aircon system and/or a faulty bathroom fan was so noisy and intrusive a good night's sleep really wasn't possible. We should have asked to be moved earlier in hindsight, but at 3am this didn't seem like a viable option! We have stayed twice before and never had an issue before.

Great hotel, nicely priced.

It was a really lovely stay, facilities were great, staff very welcoming and friendly especially the young lady who attended to us at breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if in the environs.

Bed was really comfortable, staff were really friendly

Leisure facilities were very tired and a bit grubby. Went to have some nice time in the pool before dinner but it was being used for kids swimming lessons so not very relaxing! Jacuzzi wasn't warm and had a lot of chlorine in. One of the towels in our room hadn't been cleaned was just folded up wet and dirty but staff changed it straight away. Was a shame that a full sit down breakfast wasn't available any more so we went our somewhere else

Exceptional

Everything. Really nothing to complain about. Location very good for what we needed, staff super helpful especially the girl in the reception, 100% customer care. Very spacious and well equipped room, clean, comfortable, plenty spaces in the car park. Breakfast OK, many options and choices. Positively surprised, especially that British hotels don't usually give you any choice for breakfast apart from Full British one.

The WiFi didn't work on my phone, tried many times but without success. One little thing about breakfast. Everything was super but I would like to see more variety of bread. Only toast which is not good enough for such a level of hotel quality.

A lovely relaxing weekend break.

The room was spotlessly clean; breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and the staff in the dining area were extremely attentive and very, very pleasant. The evening meal was good too, again, lots of choice. The reception staff, Roy and Dana were very helpful at all times and dealt with all clients in a professional but friendly way.

Our daughter and grandson loved the swimming pool - available all day and well used by families and by us, when we arrived, before we set off for our day out and again when we got back, for a relaxing dip. What a shame Holiday Inn are closing the pool! Surely they are big enough to revamp the facility - maybe with a spa etc.. Even if this pool is costly, it’s a great facility and should be available - there’s no beach or any other leisure facility for children at the hotel - keep the pool! That news was the only bad thing!

A decent option in Mansfield

I liked the location and all the amenities in the room

I was provided a room with twin bed even though I wanted a double bed. The first room did not have a functioning landline so I was moved to another room which was also a twin bed. There was pool and gym available but they were decent - don't expect a lot. I ended up expecting too much.
