Great time in Tuscany
Great apartment. Had all the needed cooking equipment and dishes. Big rooms and nice balcony. Great pools and nice scenery. The place is very beautiful. Overall we enjoyed it, and had a great time. But it was missing the authentic Italian hospitality you would get in a real villa. Also a bit far away from the common touristic places (40 minutes to Chianti region) but closer to other areas so we discovered some unexpected places.
The apartment itself is a little not taken care of. I had to buy a light bulb for the kitchen (it was missing). Also we had to move some furniture around as it seems they put some stuff without logic (huge cabinet in the middle of the living room). Also they advertise they have A/C in the apartment and it's wrong. They have another system which cannot be controlled by the guest. For us it was set to heat and we had to turn it off completely and sleep with open windows. (They only change it to cooling later in the year). Not great views of the surroundings. Mostly neighboring apartments.

Very good
Location was excellent if you don't mind not being able to walk to restaurants etc. Closest Restaurants are only a five minute drive away. Spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and good beds. Great pools with stunning views.
The restaurant next to the apartments was not open. The kitchen was tiny and you could not fit two people in to cook/prepare food. The shower was small and slippy, i had expected more for this accommodation.

Peaceful stay in the Tuscan Hills - would recommend for couples, singles & families
Great location, with a 10 minute walk (uphill) to the village. Great pool facilities with a wonderful view. Villas were spacious, came with all the cooking facilities and shared outside BBQ.
Only had 1 set of towels for 4 days. There was a charge for extra towels.

Horrible
- The location was at a quiet place in the neigbourhood, so it was quite peaceful at night (if it wasn't for the noisy appartment). - Airconditioning worked pretty good, so comfortable when it's so hot outside.
Clearly this place has passed its glory days and feels like a dairy cow being milked to the bone. We booked a week, but left after one night (we had to pay for two). This place is way overpriced and I sincerely do not understand the high reviews. This is in no way a Tuscan experience. - The view of the terrain looks over a valley with industrial buildings (no one seems to mention those). - Furniture is very old. You can't call that authentic/elegant Tuscan style, because it's not. It's just old. - The terrace tiles were all uneven. Because of that, none of the furniture could just stand on the terrace without a rock underneath (try that with a childs high chair). - The crockery was very dirty on arrival. The moka pot even contained mould. - The salt water is nice, but the surface of the swimming pools was very rough. - The covered swimming pool looks nice in the pictures, but you have to pay a premium to use any jet of air/water. - The (sleeping)couch in the appartment was claimed to be new, but was extremely hard and uncomfortable. - No curtains in the bathrooms - The TV was standing on a standalone bookshelf with cables to the ground. Not suitable for kids. - Just before arrival we were asked if we would like to book the restaurant attached to the resort. Seriously the worst kitchen and personnel in Tuscany I've seen in 2 weeks. And expensive, just like the resort. - But most importantly: the appartment is EXTREMELY noisy. You literally hear every step of the neighbours upstairs or next door. Also the terrace chairs on top of the buildings cause a lot of noise. - Wifi could just as well be turned off. It has the speed of a dial-up modem. After asking if we could just pay for the night and leave, we got told that they didn't advertise as 'luxurious', but they actually do say that, and actually say that they are "known for luxurious accommodation in Tuscany and dream vacations". Probably in 1999.

Great resort, wonderful staff, highly recommend!
We stayed in this resort many years ago and now we came to see what improvements they had made. :) The new indoor pool is a nice novelty, also the covered parking lots are convenient, there is more greenery as the trees have grown during all these years... We like the resort very much, its location is great, a short drive to Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni... The staff was very helpful with whatever we asked. The appartments are spacios and well equipped; years ago we stayed in the ground floor appartment, now we got the first floor one with a nice terrace - we liked it too.
Poor WiFi, although not really an important issue if you are on holiday. There is a possibility of renting bikes, but I would recommend some maintenance first (poor breakes, flat tires, no helmet renting possibility).
