The location, the food, the staff. We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff was very kind and helpful.
It was fun dining in our room as opposed to in a dining room like many of the other ryokans in Hokkaido that we stayed at. When you arrive at the property, you book your meal time and they will deliver the food at your designated time. After the meal, the staff will take your plates away and make your futon for the night.

So glad I picked this small ryokan vs one of the big hotels. The staff were super kind and accommodating. The in-room meal was fantastic and the small onsen was never crowded. I even had it to myself a couple of times. The shuttle from the train station and to Oyunuma is also very convenient.
Facilities are a little bit dated but clean. Location is isolated and maybe 15 mins from the Main Street shops. Had some trouble organizing pickup from the train station but they did finally respond at the last minute.

Away from main thoroughfare but still within walking distance to areas of interest. Meals are all served in the room which is great! You can eat in the quiet comfort of your room and enjoy the peace and quiet. They only have one type of water for the onsen and the indoor and outdoor bath is not big but sufficient enough.

The room I stayed in was a large sized room. the futon was very comfortable. The breakfast was very representative of Japanese styled breakfast. The public onsen was small but comfortable. The staff was very friendly and picked me up from the station.
The return to train station shuttle around 12pm was not available anymore. I wish it can be resumed.

small onsen, baths were almost empty, staff was super helpful. Super relax in a great atmosphere, highly recommended.

Small ryokan with good services
The room was small

The kaiseki dinner was the highlight of the stay. Breakfast was also very good. The staff was very helpful in giving directions to places and the onsen was nice to spend some time in.
The location is a little further away from the Jigokudani valley and some of the other places in Noboribetsu onsen, although it's at most 25 minutes walk. The staff gave some helpful directions.

Very friendly staff, able to navigate just sufficient English to get you by. Free shuttle, free alcohol in the fridge (!), amazing service. Not crowded, definitely a great experience, rooms are cosy. Totally recommend
Onsen might be a bit small, you'll be a bit uncomfortable if 3 guest or more are in the bath at the same time but it did not happen to me and I really enjoyed the outdoor and indoor small pools.

Very nice location. Rooms were comfortable. Service very good. Outside onsen was a really nice and enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful time here. The food was delicious, the onsen great to relax but what was the best was the staff. We had the best experience in all our Japan travels here. We celebrated christmas here and were a bit homesick and just this moment the staff made a group picture, asked us to join them and gave us the picture framed the next day. Such a wonderful surprise! It made us feel very welcome!

We had an excellent time staying at your inn at Noboribetsu. Not only was the hotel and our room very clean but the view from our room was spectacular. Along with that the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the amenities including the onsen and dinner was lovely too. Definitely worth booking again on our next trip back.
Truly there wasn't anything to complain about. Our room service was great and the Onsen was great as well for first timers. If anything I wish the coffee machine was available 24/7. Honestly I would feel rude if I said anything bad about our stay here.
