Food was excellent as was the location. The staff were brilliant and always very friendly and helpful. I think that it was excellent value for money.
There were no views from the onsen which was a little bit of a shame. Otherwise everything very good.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Do book rooms with half board. It is worth the experience. Food is good too (average). Onsen is good. I love the outdoor onsen though my friends prefer the indoor onsen.
I can't locate the hotel at first as the name is in Japanese, didn't see any English name. Do take note. It is not far from the bus station.

The food was excellent and exceeded my expectation. I took my meals in room, so felt very relaxed.
The staff were friendly and supportive.
Location was superb, few mins walk from the sightseeing spots (but far enough to evade the sulphur smell)
Family / private onsen was a surprise too, with both indoor and outdoor options.
The place is a bit dated and not a lot of amenities available.
The air conditioning system also made some funny noises when I tried to crank it up, but the weather was decent when I went so I just turned it off

Food was great, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious.
Staff is super nice and friendly.
I'll definitely be back if I ever have the chance!

Lovely and helpful staff. Most spoke/understood a little English, however one person on staff was very good and was very kind to help us.
Location was perfect in the middle of noboribetsu onsdn with walking distance to Jigokudani.
Food was classic multicourse ryokan menu, mainly different fish.
Our room was spacious and comfortable enough.
Onsen was great with possibility to rent 50 min in private onsen. Both the public and private onsen had indoor and outdoor onsen, so perfect in the snowy weather.
It would have been to have a menu or little introduction to the meals. It tasted wonderful, but we had to guess what we eating some of the time.
Price to expected for location.

Amazing traditional japanese hotel. The staff was very welcoming, the hotel very clean and calm. Very easy to find, in the main street of Noboribetsu, and very close to the Hell Valley. The diner was huge and delicious! Everything felt very fancy.
And the room!! So big, with a lot of equipment! Could sip a tea wearing a yukata right by the window, watching the snowfall. It felt so relaxing! And the outdoor onsen was an incredible experience too. I have zero regrets about booking in this hotel, even though i booked it very last minute!

The staff were amazing, every guests were taken care of well in the moment that you walk in. I also like the small-scaled family style that this hotel is run in, as opposed to the big commercial hotels in the area. it gives a personal touch to it.

We were treated to a serene getaway the minute we opened the door. The manager helped carry our bags, gave us a warm mineral tea and slippers to enjoy as we signed in. The onsen was lovely, relaxing and peaceful. Our dinner and breakfast were served Japanese style and were delicious! We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to Americans - a wonderful experience.

The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. He also spoke English so it was easier for me to communicate. The room was big and very comfortable. The futon was perfect. The food was amazing and there was a lot! The onsen was small, quiet and beautiful. I enjoyed being outside.
The chairs in my room were a little flat. I think they need some more stuffing? There is no private shower so be prepared to use the onsen to wash.

The food was super. A huge dinner and an even bigger breakfast. The water was nice to soak in even though there wasn't a view. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though I couldn't speak much Japanese they made me feel very comfortable.
