Ideal location, friendly helpful staff
Small room , no windows. The only natural light was from the door . No fresh air in the room. The tv would not connect to the wi fi.

Great breakfast and had to ask for a smaller one on the second day as it was huge!
Arrived in time for Sunday carvery which was tasty.
Carpeted floor in our room had no underlay so a bit hard underfoot.
Bathroom needed a shelf or something to put your toiletries on.

The staff were very welcoming.
The location was good
The room was generally very nice with an excellent bed.
There was NOWHERE to put your toiletries in the bathroom.
The car park door was open all night and our room was immediately by that and we felt quite vulnerable.
There were NO instructions for the TV.
The evening meal service was so slow we paid the bill before we were asked if we would like a sweet.
Bikers were walking through the restaurant when there was another access.

Unfortunately the bikers that arrived were noisy until the early hours

We chose the room because of the deco .. was very well presented and spacious
The bathroom was also very nice but would have been Beneficial to have a couple of shelves next to the bath to place toiletries

Location, decor, quirky. breakfast was good.
Floors aren’t flat which in turn makes beds uncomfortable. Rm2 bathroom floor tiling is coming loose due to, amongst other things, a poorly sealed shower cubicle. the bathroom towel radiator was in constantly and hence the bathroom was uncomfortably hot.
there is no soundproofing- you can hear every word from adjacent rooms

Lovely location

Breakfast was amazing, staff were lovely, really liked the decor and artwork and internal features.
There was no fires lit in the fireplaces - it would have made it so much more cozy and welcoming.
There was no food on in the evening so we had to go out, and the bar shut early.... not really complaining, Milan acriss teh road does a great Pizza, but guests arriving on Sundays should be aware

Left to go home at 2100 as the room had no privacy was very uncomfortable and could here everyone coming and going so never actually stayed overnight
The whole experience this was more like a outside chalet than a room
That looked onto a hall beer garden car park the blinds did not work so everyone passing could see into room and we could see and here everyone

Improved service and facilities since our last visit, wi-fi now works well in all areas of the hotel, heating great, shower lovely to have instant hot water and a lovely fresh cooked breakfast.
some areas of the hotel corridors dark with stairs.

Fabulous staff made you feel more than welcome. Beautiful hotel wonderful location.
Everything was exceptional the only thing I would say would be the bed could do with a new mattress due to feeling the springs. Other than that faultless.

Parking area in the back wasn't the best but was secure and safe

Staff friendly, my room with huge cast iron bath was amazing after a long walk and the breakfast was just what I needed. Love the bedroom design.

Due to being unable to manage a lot of stairs the hotel moved us to a more convenient room which was absolutely perfect.
Dinner was very tasteful and good value for money and so was the breakfast.
