Location
We were ripped off, room not even close to the pictures of the website. Also there was a wedding at the property that we were not informed of. Decided to leave after about 30 minutes, shift manager rude and refused refund

Everything, the scenery was magnificent, the village itself was beautiful , all of the staff were so friendly, the breakfast and food in the townhall cafe was excellent, didn’t want to come home.
Nothing, apart from having to leave.

The Bed was comfy.
Free tea and coffee etc.
Arrived with an open window that was stuck open. Had to call a member of staff to find close it but they attended to it straight away.

Breakfast was excellent - good quality, fried Welsh breakfast! Lovely coffee. Set us up for the day!
The free electric buggy service up to the top of the village, any time you wanted was excellent.
We enjoyed walking around the grounds - the woodland walk, with all the amazing trees, and the coastal walk.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
In our opinion, there is nothing that needs to be changed!

The staff couldn't have been more helpful, this was a trip back in time for my 86 years old Mam, she spent time there when she was younger as my Great Aunt worked in Portmeirion Village. The accommodation was excellent and spotlessly clean, it also catered extremely well for the older generation. There were always buggies supporting us which was great for Mam, and the drivers were all friendly and very helpful. The gardens are superb and well looked after. We ate a wonderful evening meal in the castle and again, the staff there were extremely attentive, as was all the Administration support staff. Well done to everyone at Portmeirion and the Castle. I would 100% recommend staying there and visiting.

Everyone made us feel special as soon as we arrived, the hotel is superb, and the views from our room amazing. Dinner at the Castle and breakfast at the hotel was excellent. You have a great team of staff who made us feel valued.
Thank you too for the wonderful weather!!!
Maybe a few more loungers round the pool.
Signage to the lower car park was confusing

The location and the food!
The noisy air condition unit/extractor fan over the bar - it went on all night 🙄

The town is fabulous
Room view
Breakfast nice
Golf buggys are great
The room was clean enough but very old and outdated.
The little kitchen was not nice at all
For the money I'd expect absolutely gorgeous rooms.
There is art deco then really outdated and old.
Bath plug was broken so wouldn't hold water.
This was a real treat for me and my husband over £300 for one night and left very dissatisfied.
We couldn't book to get dinner in the night either so had to drive else where.

Lovely location opposite estuary and full of quirky, beautiful features. The view from my room was stunning. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Outdoor pool was lovely and warm and my friend had a spa treatment which she said was very good. Loved all the pottery in the gift shop!
The bed was too firm for me and I would have preferred our room to be closer to my friend’s room. We did book a few months ago but were on opposite sides of the hotel. We did enjoy the 2 course menu in Hotel Portmeirion but on our third night would have preferred an option to have something lighter. It was an expensive menu too.

Excellent evening Dinner
The building is amazing
Room cozy and good
facilities
Just a very minor niggle , bathroom grouting could be better
Wine waiter very helpful and friendly but a bit heavy handed pouring wine and the water and ice he poured splashed over the table.

We had a lovely view from our very comfortable room. The village was great and the restaurants both very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The shower in our room was very poor. It was not possible to adjust the temperature as the knob seemed to be broken. The water Wass way too hot!

I was charged twice but I only gave them my card for once. it’s definitely illegal. if there are extra fees about damage, hotels need to negotiate with me and ask my permission before deduct my money. I am very disappointed for their illegal activities.

View from room. Evening meal in Castle
Not enough places to sit in front of fireplace. Dirty crockery left on tables for too long. No walk in shower.

Our suite was very warm and comfortable. Staff in the hotel were friendly and very efficient at both Breakfast and dinner. Food was of a high quality and very tasty. Wine list was comprehensive with plenty of choice. All in all a very enjoyable visit despite the wind and rain. A special mention to the porters who were very efficient.
