The whole experience was very comfortable and relaxing. The room was very comfortable perfect for a journey break or visit to the area. The dinner we had was very good and very good value for money.
Perhaps a little better double glazing for the rooms that face onto the main road outside those rooms.

One night stay prior to an early flight from Bristol Airport. Great location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Everything was great. Would’ve been nice if the bar were still serving food but it was Sunday evening, so service ended at 4pm.

Perfect for the airport. Comfortable beds and good food.
Rooms a little tired .

Clean good location for the airport
No food available sun after 4, no recommendations locally to eat or takeaway.

Comfy bed and friendly owners.
Good food from the lunch menu and value for money.
Self service breakfast was very disappointing. Supplies of butter, coffee and hot water were low and insufficient for all guests.
Milk was out of date.
Some fruit would be nice.
Duvets too thick for the summer.

Overall we had a lovely stay, we met the new landlord and landlady the morning after our late check in. I can honestly say after only being in the job for one week they certainly know how to make you feel welcome. They have inherited a few small issues and are well aware and working hard to correct these and I have no doubt they will and continue do their best to improve and build a fantastic business for themselves while making their guests stay the best it can possibly be. Good luck Matt and Mags, we will return to see you again.
The bathroom we had was small and as a wet room could have a slightly better design, excess water all over the bathroom after showering. I’m sure the new managers will look at options in the coming weeks.

Service was exceptional, great bar staff were really helpful
The internet, but it,s not their fault. The service in this general area is not good

The bedrooms were very clean and the facilities were better than expected. The bed and the bed linen were very comfortable.
Unfortunately the restaurant had experienced a power cut so we couldn't eat there. Breakfast was a complimentary continental offering. I'd have preferred a cooked breakfast but the fee offering was perfectly good. The main strange thing was the complete absence of any staff on-site.

Beautiful old pub, very comfortable rooms, immaculately clean, decorated to a high standard.
Good food and breakfast ready even for very early leavers.

Nothing
It was chaotic. No twin room available. Shown to uncleaned room first. Bedclothes more suited to January than May! No restaurant available, but not informed prior to arriving. Yet charged full price despite the inconvenience. Wouldn't book again.

I loved the bathroom, very spacious.
We couldn't get breakfast in the morning, cause the person that holds the keys from kitchen, didn't show up.

Comfortable room.Good facilities.
Evening meal and breakfast were very good.
Nice friendly atmosphere in pub.
Service was a little slow in pub.I think due to shortage of staff.
Somebody had failed to turn up fir work that evening.

comfortable and attentive staff
no TV remote control, down lights in en-suite not working, only pizza on menu and fruit all gone at self service breakfast

Room is comfortable and clean.
Obviously not the staff's fault but they had only recently taken over so arrived to be told no meals available. Kind of a continental breakfast available the next morning but......not great. Might give it another go as the competition locally is not up to much. Having recently bought a local business I am attempting to find a regular place for my weekly visits from London. I am 3 and 0 at the moment!!!

Located close to Bristol airport
When we arrived, the staff where like deer in headlights. They didn't know what room we where staying in and the poor barman spent ~10 minutes running from the front to back office to speak with someone to work out what was going on. Another barman was clearly ill, sniffling, sneezing and wiping their nose with their hand, but then handling glasses etc without washing their hands! Our room was ok, but it felt like we where above a night club until 12PM due to the loud music from below (I think some speakers where mounted on the ceiling directly below our room), less than ideal for a 5am flight. We also noticed the lock for the front door had been ripped off, leaving the property unsecured over night. There was no coffee available in the room.
Unfortunately it seems someone has spent considerable time and money making this site look lovely, but has failed to retain and/or train staff and install correct operational procedures.
Incredibly disappointing, couldn't recommend.

Everything was lovely. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, the room was super-comfy and gloriously quiet. Huuuuge bathroom, with lots of piping hot water.
Beautifully quiet room, tastefully furnished, and good heating (it was a very cold winters day).
My husband had to check in at the airport very early in the morning, and that was just an easy 15mins drive away. so we will definitely be booking again to come back, as we to and fro quite a bit from Bristol Airport.
We also booked a table in the restaurant the evening we arrived, and had an absolutely superb meal. There were so many delicious choices on the menu that we will need to go back to try them, and the quality was excellent.
A real gem, and absolutely first class.
Our only tiny comment would be that there was no information folder in our room, so we didn't have the wifi code (and were too tired and comfy by then to go back downstairs to get it :D ), and if we'd wanted breakfast wouldn't have known what time it was served.

The hotel was in a great location and it is a very recently refurbished boutique pub hotel to a high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was really nice and the Bramley bathroom products smelt exquisite. There was ample parking and the pub itself was nicely decorated.
The breakfast was very disappointing. We arrived for a Sunday night stay to be told there was no cooked breakfast during the week. The breakfast was only limited cereal, some pain au chocolate and a sausage roll. There was not even any toast. I think this really lets the property down - I have stayed in lots of similar type boutique pubs and this breakfast was by far the worse. I would not even call it a proper continental breakfast offering.
Also just a point to note. When I had a shower in the morning the bathroom completely flooded to the point whereby the water flowed under the door and onto the carpet in the bedroom. I had to turn the shower to very low and hold it over me to finish. I used the towels provided to mop it all up. I think there is a bad building fault here as the water does not drain away for a long time. I think this will cause issues moving forwards and they will have water pouring through the ceiling below very soon. The floor tiles seemed soaked underneath and wobbly. This seemed a shame as the bathroom looked lovely and the Bramley bath products were fabulous.
