Perfect accommodation

Fantastic stay in a quiet location. our host Rosie was lovely and very attentive and her attention to detail was flawless. Compact accommodation was clean and well thought out to fit all the facilities into a bijou space. We had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. We felt very relaxed and content.

Superb

We instantly felt at home in the apartment. It had everything we needed and we found it very comfortable. The location was near to town which was good.

We found the toilet and shower arrangement a little odd at first as the toilet is in the shower but we soon got over it and everything worked fine.

A cosy BnB with an easy access to the town and trails

The room was clean and nicely arranged. Beds were comfortable. All the necessary kitchen utensils provided along with the breakfast ingredients. Easy and efficient communication with hosts, who were very nice and accommodating. Location is close to the town centre, providing easy access to the shops and main attractions of Monmouth. Multiple walking/running trails are within an easy reach from the place. My partner and I enjoyed our stay here. Many thanks to the hosts!

Location excellent. Free parking ! Lovely comfortable bed. Fresh bread & good jams, coffee etc. Quiet.

Bathroom a little cramped but didnt spoil our stay. Couldnt get the satallite channels working but could have been us.

All good apart from heating

It was mostly very good, Rosie is welcoming and friendly. Room bright and cozy.

Usually stay with our son who uses very little heating so chose good priced b and b in order to be warmer. On arrival the radiators were lukewarm warm and room cold. It was an extremely cold weekend. When contacted Rosie turned the temperature up but it was the same again in the morning. Bathroom would be fine in better weather but it is just a shower cubicle with added lavatory and washbasin. Radiator is outside in open-plan area so we did not use the shower. This is very unfortunate as Rosie is friendly and the room attractive.

The communication from Rosie was spot on, very welcoming and friendly. Primrose Villa was perfect for us. We were originally going to book a premier inn for the night, but we are so glad we didn’t. This quaint little villa had everything. A large, comfortable double bed, a sofa and tv, with all the channels, excellent WiFi, and a kitchenette with everything you need. Everything is in one room, with an additional cloak area and wet room. It was very cosy and warm to say the least. The wet room is compact, with a very good power shower. You have to manoeuvre a bit around the toilet when your showering, but we didn’t have a problem, as long as you don’t take anything in with you that you want to remain dry it’s fine. You come out feeling very clean 😃 The bespoke breakfast was delicious. Rosie asked in advance what bread and milk we preferred and the seeded bread and a pots of jam and marmalade were perfect. The location is ideal for a gentle ten minute stroll into town, over an ancient bridge, which has a beautiful high street with lots of shops and restaurants. We also appreciated the free parking space directly out front.

Fantastic

The whole time we spent at Primrose Villa was great from the time we walked in on our first day until the day we left for home today, Rosie is a great host and we have made a new friend and our first friend in Wales, provisions where plentiful and of first class standard sleeping, dining and other relaxing areas also great we could go on but lets just say every thing about our stay at Primrose Villa was first class

A cracking find...

Owner very friendly, very clean & comfortable. Nice garden area to sit and unwind..it took us just 7 minutes to walk Into town centre.

Nothing to dislike...all good.🙂👍

Very comfortable room in good location, very friendly and helpful hosts.

Friendly, welcoming host, very comfy bed and quiet location away from town, but a pleasant 10 min stroll to the centre with a good choice of eateries and pubs. Would definitely recommend.

Location was very good. Breakfast nice but very basic. bed was very comfortable and Rose was a lovely host.

Could have been cleaner quite a few cobwebs, and dust.
