Great location right in the middle of Ortigia. Spacious apartment with great facilities and a lovely terrace on the roof.
Lots of stairs and no lift. Ok for us but would not suit less mobile. The apartment is beautifully decorated but dark which keeps it cool but we found too dark.
We were asked to pay in cash at the apartment on arrival which we have never done anywhere and are regular travellers. Eventually a card machine was produced after a call to booking.com
There is no parking on Ortigia and the nearest car park was a 20 minute walk away which was tough with cases in 31 degree heat. The parking machines were not working and the easy app doesn’t recognise the car park it is 1204 street parking.

Great host and location. Host provided information and location of sights and restaurants in the area

Apartment was spacious and comfortable, and close to the central area of Ortigia. Many quality restaurants nearby.

The property was in a good location that allowed you to travel about the island and explore it at your leisure.
The surrounding neighborhood is not kept clean and there is trash everywhere.

location was great - Host, Luca was exceptional and assisted by picking us up from Catania Airport when alternate arrangements failed. the lower room was very comfortable as was the living area. it was very well stocked and the property very safe and secure
the upper mezzanine room was quite hot for the other guests and the air con from the living room did not make it up the top too well… in fairness there was a heat wave whilst staying there

The apartment was large, well equipped and the terrace was very nice with views over the city. Luca, the host was very pleasant and helpful.
The apartment is located in a small courtyard with locals living in adjacent buildings which gives an authentic experience
The surrounding area is beautiful and there are lots of restaurants and cafe's to choose from.
Checking in was a little complicated as part of the fee (for cleaning and tax) was required in cash, along with the deposit. Although the cash deposit was mentioned in the booking conditions, we were given an extra hand written document to sign (requiring the apartment to be left in perfect condition) which was rather unnerving and was not mentioned prior to arrival.
As there is only one air conditioning unit, it was still very warm on the mezzanine bedroom (although the temperature was 35 degrees)

Very charming and comfortable property in the heart of the old Town. Well appointed. Gave us a good taste of how the locals live.

We spent three nights in this wonderful apartment in Syracuse..
We were welcomed by Luca, a very friendly young man who was always available to help us with any issues we encountered during our stay.
The apartment was very spacious and clean and located about 100m from the cathedral, so we were in the centre of everything. It was an easy walk to a vast array of restaurants and all the tourist attractions. There was also a lovely terrace where we could sit out and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.
No negatives for us. We highly recommend this apartment.

The property was nice, with a great roof top deck.
The second bedroom was a loft with no sound barrier from the rest of the apartment.
The neighbouring apartments were in stages of disrepair. A little gritty area.

Luca was very attentive with texts leading up to and during our visit. We stayed in August and in the heat, it was definitely useful to be able to pay an additional cost for nearby parking during our stay. The accomodation was very clean. It was in an excellent location, with the joys of Ortigia on our doorstep, yet very quiet at night. The rooftop was beautiful. Would recommend.

I would highly recommend this place. It is located in the center of the city close to everything. It’s also in a quite location! Our host was extremely professional and gracious with his time in recommending places to go visit and to eat.

The apartment is beautiful and tastefully renovated in the heart of the old town. It has a lovely roof terrace so we were to eat outside and look out across the rooftops. It is very quiet area despite proximity to the sights and sea. The ladies playing cards in the square below in the afternoons.
Luca was very helpful and sorted out parking for us.
The master bedroom is a spacious and comfortable mezzanine.
Retro pics of women but this didn’t spoil our stay!

Perfect quiet location in center of Ortigia, with all attractions and restaurants only few minutes away, and high quality furnished apartment with ideal roof terrace for sun bathing or star watching with a picturesque view across Ortigia’s roofs.
