Really great one night stay in Bergen

Upgraded us to the suite which was really nice of them, and the room was very nice and very comfortable, and even had a Christmas tree set up in the room which was such a nice touch! Lovely decor, and the coffee table book available in our room really helps you understand and appreciate the architecture and design even more so would recommend thumbing through if you have five minutes. Also well located directly next to the train station and an easy walk to the waterfront, but still nice and quiet.

Great but not so great.

I do enjoy the proximity to the train station but my overall experience is tarnished by the fact they overcharged me 3 times the amt they quoted for an extra person. I appreciate a prompt followup from your service team or at least a courtesy to ack but so far i did not receive anything. Poor problem management. Rgds

La ubicación, al lado de la estación de tren. Ideal si uno viene cansado en el tren nocturno de Oslo (y se le complica dormir, como a mí). Excelente personal y desayuno muy completo.

Estaría de 10 si tuvieran una cafetera Nespresso (en la habitación o en el vestíbulo), y no las otras máquinas de café que tienen...de todas formas, el café estaba bueno pero podría estar mejor

Recommended for a short stay in Bergen.

The hotel has a great location and comfortable rooms. The interior is well designed and the breakfast is tasty. The price for the dinner at the hotel is also reasonable and the service is good. I had good experience there.

This is just something can be improved. It would be really nice if kettle is provided in each room. Although the Espresso machine can also boil the water for tea.

Perfect location for the trains - the Oslo-Bergen line and the line that includes the airport.

The proximity to the train station. The welcoming attitude of the staff. The breakfast was plentiful and s delicious.

Greit nokk, men litt i øvre pris i forhold til romstandard. Fint bad.

Tv virket ikke. Fikk beskjed flere ganger at det skulle ordnes. Dette skjedde ikke. Mener vi burde fått beskjed om at dette ikke kunne fikses.

Pleasurable stay

The hotel is really close to the city center and main atractions of the city (less than 10-minutes walking distance). Although the room was rather small, it was enough for our 2-night stay. It was clean and nice - that's the most important things.

It was hard to find a place during the breakfast - the eating area wasn't big enough to fit all the guests. It didn't brother us that much though, since we've always managed to finally find a table.

Not your usual central hotel

I was very pleasantly surprised by how safe and quiet the area was: usually areas around the central station aren't the best, but this wasn't the case! It was both super central, well connected and quiet! The whole reception, restaurant/breakfast and waiting area is very lovely and welcoming. The rooms have some fantastic pieces of design and are also very clean. Overall very good value for money!

There were some things that were definitely peculiar, like the ceiling being raw, dirty concrete. I get the stark contrast with the design items, but I'm sure it would have looked nice without nails sticking out of it :) Our room view was quite unfortunate - a concrete backyard and a view to apartments. Lastly, one of the cleaning staff from the breakfast was very insisting on both mornings we ate there: she'd be waiting and staring until we finished our coffee/water to take our cups off our hands - very weird!

Very good

I stayed on the 6th floor and had a great view. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good bed. Breakfast great and the location was perfect, just by the central bus station and the City Line. Good value for money!

The room had a carpet that had seen better times. A little more desk- or shelve space would have been nice. But no big problem!

very clean, nice breakfast provided, great location, quiet (but bear in mind it’s not sound proof)

weird bed setting. queen sized bed with 2 separated blankets. pillow is not very comfortable

Very great location, staff wonderful.

Breakfast was very good, staff great. I only wish there was a pool or spa at hotel- that would have made it perfect. A hot tub after a long day of travel would have been so good.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was very rich The location was pretty close to the center. Walking with the luggage from the car park through the train station and then to the hotel was not so fun ..
