I said this during my stay to the lady at reception - the photo of the outside of the property on booking.com did not do this place any favours! The place and the location are so lovely from the outside, the photo made it look like we would be arriving at some sort of hostel or old fashioned hotel, we had really low expectations but we were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads after the Taylor Swift concert, so anywhere would do by that point, we were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived, so it exceeded all expectation!
The breakfast was a bit chaotic the next morning and nobody seemed to know what was going on! But it was fine and we were fed, it was good and not expensive!

Well presented good parking comfortable clean room staff friendly
5.0
Very quiet, no traffic or general noise
The room I stayed in was tired and not particularly well maintained. Breakfast was limited in selection, hot breakfast / cold plates!!!

Posizione ottimale per poi andare in aeroporto. Utile il ristorante e bar interni, musica dal vivo (tutti i sabati).

Bel posto
Letti distrutti, materassi rotti

Reasonable breakfast, good dinner . Dining staff helpful.
Shower not good. Head loose and flooding on floor. Room door impossible to open half way. Nowhere to unpack clothes, only a wardrobe rack..

Lovely location, staff very friendly and food was awesome. About what you would expect for the price!
They stopped serving food at 7 pm on Sundays which meant we missed food one night. Luckily there was a McDonald's around the corner.
The mattresses and bed situation was far from ideal being 2 singles pushed together. They were uncomfortable but doable for short term stay

Could have been a better selection of cereal. Only one choice of egg. As to location - we wanted to be in Kirkcaldy as our friends live there, so Glenrothes wasn't our first choice but not a big concern.
See comments re breakfast. Also not enough clothes hangers. Plug did not stay in hand basin. Taps for hand basin and shower were too rounded so couldn't grip in hands were soapy.

The room was badly in need of being updated. Bathroom was mouldy and disgusting. Bed and floor were extremely squeaky.

The staff are so lovely and helpful and kind.
The beds were a little uncomfortable, but the management told us that they are getting new mattresses soon. Brilliant breakfast!! Best I have had in a very long time. We will definitely go back, because the staff are brilliant xx

The property was clean and tidy and the staff and management were excellent
Due to refurbishment there was a lot of noise in the morning

Staff were friendly/ helpful and hotel was very reasonably priced.
Good location
Only 1 pillow per person & when we asked for extra there were none left.
No hairdryer in room had to go & and hunt for staff to ask for one. This overheated after 2 mins use but I cleaned the intake and allowed it to cool down and was then able to use it but what a faff!
Breakfast times very restricted & too early in our opinion for weekends. (8am to 9am)

Staff were exceptional.

It was lovely and warm.
No food served in hotel at night. Walls are so thin I could hear every word the guy through the wall was saying in his phone.
8.0
No chef available at breakfast so I had toast/pancakes. Another guest had made off with the croissants, unfortunately.
A couple of hairs in the bathroom which needs a face-lift. The new rooms will be very welcome.

I think that we surprised the hotel when we arrived for breakfast. We were 15 in all and there was what seemed like a scramble to get things together for us. All that said, the coffee was very good
Where to start, the venue is tired and the rooms need an immediate overhaul.
The walls are very thin, I could hear every word on both sides of me.
The shower didn't really work and the bath was dirty on arrival.
There are no plug sockets near the bed, the one for the lamp does not have a plug socket. Not Convenient
There are no facilities near the hotel, you would need a car to go anywhere (shops etc)
The TV was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel, tho probably a good thing with the walls.
Heating was a moveable feast, my radiator screen was broken and so it was pot luck on the temperature.

Staff very friendly - meals were really good - hotel room was basic but for the price was worth the money
Renovations going on just now - was ok at weekend but loud noise during the week - abit out of town

The room was immense!
On the French doors there was only a blackout blind covering one half the other half was a normal blind didn't go the full length of the window and let in way too much light.

paid £36 a night and got upgraded to the main suite, booked a second night and got to remain in the same room

It's a gorgeous location and the exterior is stunning. Reception staff were lovely!
The bathroom needs serious upgrading, bath had a big rust patch, tiles were mouldy and the floor tiles were cracked, toilet seat also dodgy. The bed not very comfortable as given the mattress wasn't the thickest it was obvious that it was two single beds out together.

Room was quite large
Restaurant closed. Felt like a bit of a ghost town with only 2 guests. Room was freezing when I got in after work. No guide sheet for room with wi fi code and room was quite run down with scuffs on walls and furniture. Mould around the sealant in the bath. No smart TV , just a paltry 19" with bare minimum of channels. At a push, maybe worthy of £30 - 35 u would pay at a Travelodge. Won't be back I'm afraid and have stayed in much better hotels for less 😡

Nice pleasant Hotel in good setting.
Bedroom was a fair size
Good Bar Area
Bed was a bit too soft & woke up with backache, but have stayed here before & stay was perfect. ( just unlucky on this visit that bed had been softened by multiple use & really needed replacing )

The bed was really bad. The staff moved us the next day

Convenient.
Turned out to be expensive as Beds were very uncomfortable as well as the sofa you couldn’t sit on it without slipping forward. Bathroom and bedroom dated.

Lovely hotel, great staff, really helpful, nice room, plenty of room, clean and comfy, smelt amazing, evening meal was really nice and reasonable prices. Didn't do breakfast as was only 7am-8am which was a bit early for us. Would definitely stay again, great location
Just breakfast being a bit early, would have had it if on til 9am , but just personal preference, we're not early birds
