We loved everything about the cabin. It’s sooo nice and the view from the front porch is extraordinary!! The beds were more firm than we like, but it wasn’t a big deal. The cabin was very clean and lots of privacy. We loved the sitting area on the bottom level. Just a great cabin overall!!
The road to the cabin is very steep and narrow, but we didn’t mind. Would definitely have been difficult to pass other vehicles, but thankfully we didn’t meet any other vehicles.

Beautiful home, even more spectacular view. Drive up is an adventure, but so worth it. We had great wifi and reception and kitchen is well stocked. Close to the mountains, Bryson City and other restaurants and amenities. It was perfect for our family's long weekend retreat!

We have stayed in a lot of cabins. This was the most beautiful one we’ve ever stayed at. We actually, for the first time, used a travel agent and we are so glad we did. KH Travel found us this and we were so pleased. The view is as breathtaking as the cabin.

Very nice cabin has a lot of stairs for older people. If you’re gonna make breakfast and want toast you have to bring your own toaster. Had a real good time sitting on the second floor deck watching the hummingbirds.

The cabin is great and your adventure will start at the driveway!
No WiFi
Vacasa manages the property and they won’t answer the phone on the weekend - if you arrive on Saturday you’ll need to do your best to see what supplier you need we got 1 roll of toilet paper /bath no soap for shower 2 kitchen garbage bags no sponges and no broom.
They knew for 3 months that there would be six of us staying for a week. It was never stated in the advertisement for the house.
“They said it’s not their policy to stock the house”
They did deliver a broom on Tuesday.
So buy your own supplies ahead of time and you’ll be fine.
Bring binoculars to see the elk grazing in the distant pastures.

Over rated
The place looks good and in a good location, it's amenities listed a gas grill, fire pit, fireplace and direct TV, when you travel from out of state you at the amenities and understand you pay a cost for them, the list of 4 important things didn't work and we spoke to several people, 2 phone calls, 5 emails and several text messages and after all of my efforts not a single person showed up to fix anything. We paid up front and got shafted I would not recommend this management team to anyone. We also took very good photos of all the items and the awful none working conditions they were in.

No oven , and no cable. Back door handle broke off in your hand. No wifi or reseption
The home it's self was perfect. But with no wifi, or cell reseption it was hard to reach anyone about the issues in the home. When we did get through, although the 3different peaple I spoke to on 3different days about the same issues were very polite and understanding. No one ever came to fix the issues.

Amazing View!
My friends and I had a really amazing time at Bear Bottoms Welcome. The house was perfectly sized for the four of us, the bedrooms were very comfortable, and the view was to die for! We made great use of the firepit (S'MORES!!) and spent tons of time outside. My only complaint was getting past the gate into the community. We followed the instructions given and the gate never opened up on the first try. We would have to press the code many times before the gate would open. We never even figured out what we were doing right to get it open - it would just magically open after at least 10 tries. Overall, I was very happy with this home and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Incredible view
Property was just as advertised and the view was incredible. Clean and bright with all the amenities . The road up to the cabin was challenging and steep, so we opted to leave our trailer at the storage place at the entrance to the street ( worked out well ). A “fall” view with the trees in color would be even more incredible. A nice stay in a nice cabin and we enjoyed this opportunity . Thank you .

Didn’t Want To Leave
The view was unmatched. The seclusion and isolation is what we wanted. We had not had a family vacation in 25 years. The Vacasa app is a permanent fixture on my phone now.

Beautiful view
We enjoyed our stay very much. There was a windy paved drive up a steep road, but our FWD car did fine. The home was pretty clean when we arrived. The 3 floors give ample space. The beds were pretty comfortable. The landscaping was very nice. The view was spectacular. The fire pit was great for smores. Our only complaint was a constant barrage of stink bugs and many wasps that got into the home through a small hole behind the kitchen. We had to spray the wasps almost every day to get rid of them. Communication from the rental agency was minimal but adequate.

Beautiful mountain retreat!
Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our seven nights in this large, comfortable home. Of course, the views from the deck were a highlight - absolutely stunning! We also enjoyed the downstairs bar area (especially playing darts) and making s'mores at the fire pit on the rock patio.

Perfection
We loved everything about this place! The location is great, the views are beyond spectacular and the peace and serentiy is unmatched. The decor is so adorable with a cute quilt theme throughout. It is so very well equipped you could host Thanksgiving dinner here, lol. It was very clean. The drive up is steep and I wouldn't want to do it first time in the dark, so I recommend getting there during the daylight. The property managment was great to work with and quick to communicate. We will definetly be back!!

We'll be back...
Loved the cabin, the views and the proximity to GSMNP. We were there in summer...plenty of room for my family of 6. Could have slept more with kids on couches.
There is a gas grill and cooking utensils....really everything you need.
One note, listing says gas fireplace seasonal. What that means is the fuel tank for property outside is either off or empty such that not only is the indoor fireplace off buy the outdoor firepit as well. We brought fire wood but no fire ring and instructions say dont make one. So wonderful place but dont expect fire at night unless winter. That wont stop us from coming back.

Great Cabin
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It exceeded out expectations. It was more than the description online. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, cookware, silverware.. everything you could need. Plenty of towels. It was clean, had extra batteries, lightbulbs if needed. There’s a gas grill, which was a pleasant surprise! The view off the back deck did not disappoint! We highly recommend this cabin!

Peaceful vacation
Loved the views from the cabin. Ride up to the cabin was steep but wasn’t too bad after you get up the first time. Cabin was centrally located not far from Cherokee and Bryson city. Very cozy and has about everything you need for your stay. Enjoyed our stay!

Very Nice 3 story cabin on the mountain
My family and I had a great time staying at the cabin. Everything was as described and we were very comfortable in the house. Warning to all who stay here that, also as described, there is a 1 lane VERY steep road that leads you to the cabin. The only problem with this is that if there is a person going up the mountain and someone going down at the same time that means someone will have to go in reverse on the extremely steep road on the side of a cliff with a drop off. We were not use to this so it was extremely scary for us. Other very small issues was that there were cobwebs and spider webs everywhere with living spiders. We know and understand this is in the woods on a mountain, but it does need a good cleaning with a long duster or broom. There were multiple clocks in the house, but most of them do not work. The door locks to the back deck did not work after multiple attempts to secure the 2nd floor. Again, these are very small problems and did not effect our stay very much. Overall, we had a great time and felt extremely comfortable on our stay at the cabin. Very close to Cherokee SC.

Family ties
I loved the peace of sitting on the porch each morning enjoying the view as I drank coffee. My son lives in the area, he came in one day we had a big family breakfast then went to Cherokee. This cabin is close to Cherokee, Bryson City, and Dillsboro. The three floors worked well also for ones that go to bed early and us that stay up late. Would love to return again to relax.

I love the guiet time with the sunrise and my coffee before everyone got up. The location was not far from Bryson City, Dillsboro, or Cherokee for us to go and do. My son lives in the area and came and we had a big breakfast one day. 4 generations there together spending time.
