Beautiful cabin with great location. Owners were very communicative and sweet. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. Thank you!

Super quiet other than the peaceful sound of the nearby creek which we and the kids had a great time playing in. Brad and Ginger are very proactive and you can tell they really want to make sure their guests have the best experience possible. The AC fan motor went out on July 3rd, and unbelievably Brad was out there on the morning of the 4th to replace it!

Loved our time at this spacious house secluded in the mountains!”

We stayed one week in mid-May. This was the most private, beautifully outfitted cabin we've ever booked. Owners were wonderful. The only negative is that the listing says it "overlooks" a noisy trout stream. It does not overlook the creek because the creek is down a steep completely foliaged (lots of poison ivy and unnavigable brush) drop-off and is totally inaccessible and not even visible. We were very disappointed about this; the listing also says that one can walk to the end of the driveway and go fishing; again, not at all feasible. The driveway is quite long and steep and ends with a creek that is not accessible except for a couple of feet but even that is covered in poison ivy and underbrush. The cabin is as close to perfect as we've ever seen, but the creek access is a big drawback for us. Overall, we did enjoy our week at this cabin near Robbinsville.

We spent the weekend with friends. We had plenty of room and food. We ventured out to Joyce Kilmore forest and to the hot tube. Lol. We has a nice outdoor fire too. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and equipment. Bed and sheets were dreamy. Sorry we missed our last night due to winter storm coming in. We will be back. Thanks for having us.

I would say the best cabin experience I have had. The cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything plus more that we needed for a relaxing week.

The cabin is beautiful and remote enough to make you feel relaxed while close enough to town to get what you need. The property is well maintained and very welcoming.

Our group had an enjoyable time up on the mountain, we really enjoyed staying at the cabin. When the weather didn't behave, there were plenty of places for us to enjoy outdoors and stay dry. Well worth the change of pace from normal life.

This was the second time staying here with my wife and now 3 year old daughter. We love the seclusion this cabin has to offer away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The kiddo already wants to go back and it has only been a day. Haha

This is a lovely little cabin deep in the Smokies. It is quite isolated, so makes for a good place for a rest and reflection. It is a bit outside of the local town, so it is best to arrive with groceries. The hot tub on the premise is an added bonus And the outdoor seating area is a wonderful spot to have morning coffee.

Spent a week and a half at this beautiful cabin in the woods. Absolutely loved it!!!
Just some things to be aware of:
#1 You are really in the middle of nowhere (which to us was amazing) and the road getting there is long with some rough stretches but worth the trip.
#2 The hike to the waterfall is worth it but it’s definitely an uphill climb on a terrible washed out road that takes much longer than you think and it’s easy to go past it on the trail.
#3 Phones don’t work and internet is limited due to needing to be on satellite. It was AMAZING not being on phones and iPads however make sure you plug in directions to gps before you go & use the WiFi before leaving the cabin because you won’t have service for about 30 minutes until Robbinsville.
What we loved!
#1 well appointed house, we cooked every meal except one while we were there and we had exactly what we needed
#2 Hot Tub was awesome!
#3 Nearby creek was great for some dog exercise and fishing. Kids caught a bunch of different kinds of fish and our dog loved the swim!
#4 Lake Santaleh was beautiful (rented a pontoon to tube one day and went to the “beach” another.
#5 Being unplugged, we actually spent time together with our 12 & 15 year old. Played board games, did puzzles, baked cookies, had some fires it was really what we needed.
#6 The Skyway. We went twice to watch the sunset which was absolutely breath taking and to see the stars
Loved this the most
#7 Hosts are Great!!!

Our family of 5 was so thankful to have found this beautiful property. It was the perfect setting to enjoy a week away. We had plenty of space and thoroughly enjoyed the delightful cabin and its surroundings. We were far enough away, but not so far that it was inconvenient to enjoy hikes, fishing, kayaks, paddle boards, and sightseeing. Wonderful and attentive hosts!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Very well decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. All the modern conveniences to make the stay feel like your at home. Walked down the driveway and fished on the creek and caught rainbow trout on more than one occasion. Great location with lots too do. Will be back again for sure!

Take all the five star ratings, roll them together, and you have the perfect summary of this cabin/property. Not much we can add.. The cabin was perfect - beautiful, clean, well equipped, in a great location. Brad and Ginger were top-notch hosts; easily accessible, and generous in their offers of any assistance if needed. We looked forward to relaxing on the front porch or relaxing in the hot tub after a day’s hike, all the time listening to the birds above and the creek below. Like the others, we would highly recommend!

Great Location, Plenty of Room, Gorgeous Cabin

We had homemade muffins, chocolates, and birthday plates and napkins waiting on the table for us! Such a kind gesture! The cabin is awesome, very clean and inviting. Plenty of fresh towels and the beds were super comfy! The location is prime for us…far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough if you had to have something. We did some good planning, bought all our groceries at Ingle’s in Robbinsville and spent a long weekend in our PJ’s. It was perfect! I would recommend this cabin to all my friends and family. We are already talking about “next time”…

We LOVED this log cabin and the neighborhood. Great hiking right from the front door on old logging trails. Layout of the house is perfect and it had everything we needed. The hot tub was so nice after a long hike. The nearby creeks are so beautiful with waterfalls everywhere you look and the neighbors are so friendly. Very unique and secluded location, yet fairly convenient to go to the national forests for different places to hike.

Brad and Ginger were great hosts! The property was secluded and comfortable. They even had a decorated Christmas tree in the house upon our arrival. Kitchen was well stocked, and lots of room for us to relax. I enjoyed my morning coffee by the fire, and hiking is close by. Thank you!!

Brad and Ginger are no doubt the best! Out of all of the cabins we have rented over the years all other hosts are unreachable and you are left to fend for yourself. Definitely not the case here. Brad and Ginger took time to come to the cabin on Thanksgiving eve when the oven malfunctioned and saved the day. They even switched it out for another so I could cook our Thanksgiving dinner. The cabin was clean and everything we wanted and more. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Oh my goodness - where to start! This vacation was amazing. The cabin is perfect! To get there - follow Brad's directions - truly - DON'T USE GPS! Brad's directions were perfect and we got to the cabin with no problems at all. The cabin was clean and so inviting! The front porch was so nice to just relax on and the hot tub was great after hiking! Robbinsville is about a 30 minute drive in so make sure you get your supplies before hand. We went down the mountain about every other day to do hikes and would sometimes swing in to Ingles! DO hike the Yellow Creek Falls and definitely do the hike at the cabin! Stoney Hollow Farms is great to get fresh veggies! There are so many great places to hike and be active in nature! Brad and Ginger were so wonderful and we felt like we were in good hands! Out of all the years of taking mountain vacations to North Carolina -this was the best! Thank you Brad and Ginger!

Overall the cabin and location is perfect. At first I was a little concerned about the gravel road, but once we got on it I realized it’s a very well kept and smooth road. The creek is beautiful, I even caught a couple native trout. Proximity to great trout waters is nice at less than 25 minutes. The host were very nice and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be coming back, hopefully for many years to come.

We had a fabulous, relaxing time in Brad and Ginger's cabin outside Robbinsville, NC in the Nantahala National Forest. If you're looking for secluded escape away from everything this property is for you. A three minute walk from a rushing trout stream that you can hear from the cabin with acres of woods for your dogs to roam (ours had a blast!), enjoy the firepit and the hot tub - we did every day. The creek stone gas fireplace cranks the heat on the cold mornings, but by afternoon we had the windows open and the heat off. Only a twenty minute walk down the creek to a swimming hole that I can imagine is very refreshing on a hot summer day - its in a gorgeous setting and the air temp is about 10 degrees cooler than the surrounding terrain making it almost a micro-climate. Bring camp chairs and pack a picnic lunch to hang out in that little grotto. If walking is a challenge, you can drive there in about 4 minutes (just look for the stacked large stones as a marker) and safely park off road above the swimming hole and it's an easy walk down and back up. We drank coffee and watched the leaves turn color daily on the covered porch for hours. Brad and Ginger are very responsive and the cabin was better than advertised. King bed was very comfortable - we slept like babies after a glass of wine and hot tubbing in the crisp Fall evenings. We heard an owl and Hooded Warbler at dusk on more than one evening. Make sure you check out Tapoco Tavern and Lodge for riverside dining - gorgeous!

What a wonderful cabin. Well-stocked and well-maintained. Very clean and cozy. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all and just enjoy nature yet still with all the comforts of home. We wouldn’t change a thing.

The views from the property are very lovely, the cabin is a place you'd want to stay forever! Roomy but still cozy, clean and well stocked! We LOVED our time in this excellent cabin. Hope to visit again in the future.

Highly recommend if you want to be in the midst of nature and no noise of urban life. We drove to area in SUV with utility trailer and a Harley. No issue with road to the cabin. No cell phone service but easy text with sufficient Wi-Fi. Cabin is very clean and you are greeted with a bouquet of fresh greenery on table. We brought a cooler with food so as not to go to grocery store plus non essentials such as garbage bags; food storage containers; dish/clothes soap. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee maker, Italian espresso maker, crock pot, toaster, ice maker, etc. All the appliances seem to be new ~ even the clothes washer & dryer. We love to cook and appreciated the very sharp knives. The main bedroom with King is comfortable (we did not use the other bedrooms but they are nice.) Main bathroom has plenty of quality bath towels. Walk in shower has great water pressure AND very hot water. We enjoyed early morning walks and returning to the hot tub with crystal clear water and strong jets to take the knots out of your muscles. The jets are great if you have been riding a bike all day and back muscles are aching. We listened to the Hooded Warblers every morning on the creek side of cabin; enjoyed the fire pit and charcoal grill on opposite side which also has a covered patio with a very large table to play cards on. There are outdoor chairs around fire put but we also brought our own camping chairs which was not necessary. We will stay here again. Only suggestion is to stop in Robbinsville "Ingles" to purchase charcoal for grill if you are going to use it and all of your food if you do not want to pack a cooler plus purchase wood at Ace Hardware for the fire pit.
Thank you to Brad and Ginger for thinking of everything possible to make this a cozy cabin, Kathleen & John

Remote cabin to get away
Brad and Ginger were excellent hosts. Very prompt with their responses and info to make check in very smooth. The cabin is REMOTE!! About 25 minutes outside of Robbinsville. Twisty roads and about 1 mile of unpaved road before the paved driveway. The cabin was beautiful and well supplied. Loved the ceiling fan on the back porch. Helped remove that hot and humid feel of the day. The hosts gave great recommendations. One thing is that we wished it was right on the water and/or able to walk to the river, otherwise absolutely perfect! Highly recommend!

Great out of the way get away.
Hard to get too but beautiful cabin, loved to hear the sound of the steam but couldn't get to it. Grounds were almost construction like. Front porch was amazing and back porch too.
