It is by far the most unique and tranquil, serene accommodation I have ever stayed at. Perfect for winding down after intense days of trekking and exploring around Cusco. Great opportunity to learn about different ways of living, people of Uros and their culture. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, the views and location couldn’t be better. Food was homemade and delicious. Yes, it gets cold at night but the host makes sure you have everything you need to be warm. Bring layers and you’ll be more than fine. Would love to stay there again!

This was one of the best trips that we did while we were in Peru, the rooms are quite big, they're very nice and clean. When we were there, it wasn't extremely cold, so we were fine with all the blankets we had in the rooms. Eder is a very good host. He runs the hotel with his family. He took us to show how they lived and what they ate. He also took us to see the community of the Uros islands, told us about their history, what they have been through, and they're going through as Uros people. He was so nice and kind like the rest of his family. The food... we ate one of the best fish (trucha) that we have ever eaten in our lives. My sister doesn't like fish, and even she didn't even leave a single piece on her plate. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of them were very, very good. We were very satisfied with our stay.
Nothing. We only stayed a night, but if you stay longer the water heat and the toilet might disturb you, because the water gets heated only if there is sun and if there isn't the water is really cold, we couldn't take a shower for example, and the toilet is an eco toilet which doesn't have an hydraulic system because you're on a man-made island. It's okay to experience it we didn't have any problem, but again, we only stayed a night.

Nichts.

This place is divine and out of this world. The family is so pleasant and genuine.its honestly a magical place. I feel so lucky i got to stay there and someday ill definitely return.
The bed was heavenly but the best part was the food...
I suggest minimum 3 days there to fully enjoy it.
Its pretty cold at night but i was there in the middle of winter.

Very kind owner, beautiful location and rooms.

Incredibly unique adventure living as a guest of a family in the Uros Islands. The meals blew us away as we were served three times daily. It’s a truly off the grid unwind vacation spot!
The property is super, but it literally is a floating island of reeds, as such there is a compost toilet and a gas stove for heating at night.

Perfect and magical, the highlight of our staying in Peru. Sleeping on a floaty island is a unique experience. Edar and his family made us feeling at home. Really recommended.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at hotel casitas del titicaca. It was a magical time spent with the host Edar and his lovely family and cute kids. Edar showed us how the floating island works, how it was built, and maintained. It was amazing and mind-blowing. We set the nets for fishing on our first day, and the next day, we got first-hand experience on how the fish are caught, cleaned, and cooked and transformed to mouth watering dishes. The dishes served were all included in price and were different every day. Starter, main, and desert were all lovely. Thank you, edar and family, for having us. We will always remember and cherish these memories. We recommend this hotel 100%. If you want to have first-hand experience of floating islands, then this is your one stop solutions for all the adventure.
Nothing.

Eder and his family were AMAZING 👏... Highly recommend a stay with them, activities, food and accommodation were awesome
Nothing to not like, just be aware, as its on an island, bathrooms are very basic but that is to be expected

The location is already amazing in its own right, but Eder, Felipe and their family making this place really outstanding. Such hospitality and friendliness, fantastic food (local trout was super tasty). The room has huge windows to the lake with stunning views day and night. Highly recommendable! Payment by card is possible.
No complaints at all.

Eder and his family were absolutely lovely. Eder spent most of the day with us sharing his family’s history, language, and culture. Claudia, his mom, is an incredible cook and every meal was better then the previous. His father, Felipe, was so willing to share his journey and experiences with us.
Nothing. We knew in advance the properties in Uros had dry bathrooms but they had lids so it wasn’t a problem, that it gets chilly at night but you’re provided with an in-room fire place and hot water bottles, and that wi-Fi/phones would be challenging given the remote location but you can bring your own. These are all things that make this experience even more authentic and is part of the fun.

Very nice family owned place in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Pick up by boat from pier to the floating island. You can do a lot of activities with them within the community of Uros. Regarding the location food was excellent.

Amazing views, comfortable room and fantastic host, Eder. The food (bfast, lunch and dinner) was gorgeous too (big portions!) thanks to Eder’s mama.
Being forced to make a purchase/pay for a boat ride we didn’t want to take at Uros community. Also, we didn’t speak Spanish and was taken to the community by Eder’s father who only spoke Spanish but luckily we were with another couple who could translate. It did make us feel slightly uncomfortable and would have preferred Eder (who speaks English) to have shown us around as we had the pleasure of Eder’s company in the morning when he took us around in the traditional boat to show us the traditional fishing methods and explain their way of life on Titicaca (we loved it!). We couldn’t work the shower either but it might just be us…
All that said - overall we still enjoyed our stay and amazed by the way in which the community built their homes on Titicaca!

This lodge is without a doubt THE most wonderful place I’ve been to in Peru. I’ve travelled extensively, and have now been to lake Titicaca twice. This place is absolutely perfect for so many reasons.
The room is divine! The mattress is HUGE (I’m 183cm and it was huge for me!), super comfortable with many blankets to keep you warm. The decor has mostly been done by the family and is stunning.
There is an inside fireplace to keep you warm at night and the shower has hot water.
We chose all inclusive which was absolutely worthwhile. The meals are huge and delicious- meals change eat day.
The view from the room is one of the prettiest things I’ve seen: you can enjoy the surroundings on the outside sun beds on from the bedroom itself.
Eder, the owner, has a beautiful family who are so welcoming. He was born in this community and knows everyone in Uros. He teaches you about their way of life so you’re able to better understand how these communities live which is phenomenal!
Eder also speaks English in case people are concerned about a language barrier.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect place to relax on Lake Titicaca!
Absolutely nothing!
This place is 10/10 and this family are honestly the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

This is a really special place to learn about life in the Uros islands. The host and his family are kind, helpful in showing us their community and very attentive. The food was plentiful and they adjusted to our vegetarian request with some tasty options.
It’s good to be aware that the islands have compost toilets, run on solar power and don’t have wifi. There is hot water during part of the day, but in winter rooms can get very chilly. It’s beautiful but you would want to be prepared and bring layers.

if you would like a unique experience staying with a family on one of the Uros Islands then this is the place for you. The panoramic view is spectacular with wonderful sunsets. the accommodation is perfect - a lovely terrace, the most comfortable bed with thick quilts to keep you warm at night and plenty of hot water for the shower. Eder and his family are very welcoming ( and do not live in such luxury ) with the most gorgeous children. We enjoyed catching trout together and there are other islands to visit too.
There is nothing not to like about this property if you want to truly experience the life of an Uros family. Just be prepared for very cold evenings and wrap up. The sunrise the next day will soon warm you up. the lack of WiFi can also be a welcome but we did have our own 4G.

Everything is good!

Eder and his family were great hosts. The little island is so well done, the rooms with their terrace are totally luxurious. We loved the view and we loved all the lovely details. The nights on the lake are very cold and Eder made a little fireplace in the room. Eder proposed some activities and made all his best to make us happy. We went for traditional fishing and hunting and the experience was remarkable. Eder is passionate with this way of life which made our stay authentic. Food was very good too. Eder speaks English, which can be a big bonus for the ones like us not speaking Spanish.

- Location: highly recommend asking Eder to help you coordinate a private transport from the airport to the lodge. Our driver was Mr. Luis and hiring him was a great call = save time and hustle.
- Food: it was included in our rate. Really tasty.
- Room: OMG, what a beautiful room we had. Super comfy warm bed, spacious room, clean bathroom, nice private terrace. Pictures don’t do it justice, it was truly a dream.
- Extras: Eder goes above and beyond! he showed us around the island, shared some stories about his culture as he was born and raise there.
Our stay was truly wonderful thanks to him and his lovely family.
The property was amazing, we regret not staying longer!!!
