Très sympa

Localisation proche d’Etosha, sympa pour se reposer après les safaris. Très bel hôtel en pierre avec une piscine sympa Bon repas

Problème entre hôtel et booking

L emplacement.

Problème de communication entre l administration de l hôtel et booking. Nous avons failli ne pas avoir d hébergement dans cet endroit reculé car l administration de l hôtel ne suit pas correctement les réservations en provenance de Booking. Très mauvais accueil lié à ce problème. En tant que client, nous avons été pris à partie. L hôtel doutait de notre réservation pourtant confirmée. Le deuxième point négatif est la nourriture. Les portions étaient extrêmement petites ce qui n'est pas la tradition en Namibie.

The experience in the tented lodges was unique and truly memorable, blending comfort with nature perfectly. A special mention goes to the manager, John, who was exceptionally kind and attentive, making sure every guest felt welcome. The breathtaking views from the property added an extra layer of magic to my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing Safari tents with great staff

The tent was so luxurious and the views amazing. It was so fun bathing outdoors and feeling so close to nature. The staff were very friendly and the food very tasty!

Incredible stay and amazing staff!

Amazing welcome from this wonderful team. Everyone was so professional and the tents are just a dream come true. Incredible bathroom and beautiful sunrise from our private terrace! Wish we had stayed longer! Also food was really good and the atmosphere so friendly. Highly recommend for someone wanting to decompress after a long day driving around!

Slightly far from Etosha so we had to plan our visit to the park considering the extra driving time.

Relaxing, amazing views, friendly staff

A relaxing stay towards the end of our trip to Namibia. Mcbrain was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. All staff were very friendly. The tents have an amazing view (make sure you zip all vents at night or it can become noisy in the wind). The food was fantastic. We took the trip to Etosha and the Himba village. The guides were very knowledgeable. It was also great accessing the facilities at the next door Epacha lodge.

Friendly and attentive staff

I've never met such friendly and attentive staff. Again, thank you very much for your help and kindness. Also, the food is very good.

A bit far from Etosha. The rooms are too dark, it's not your fault but I encountered way too many insects (spiders, centipedes..). On the other hand, 10/10 for the night at the Epacha, just next door (same owner, same staff) which is magnificent!

Can’t wait to come back

We loved the breakfast and dinner. The meals exceeded our expectations and the service was outstanding. The welcome drink and cold towel made it feel 5 star. It was so nice to have a member of the staff ask us how we were and if we wanted a drink each time we entered the main building. The turn down service each evening was so nice.

It would have been nice to have some snack options offered throughout the day. Food options are limited at and around Etosha and when we returned from game drives we would be hungry, but dinner wouldn’t be for a while. A braii area would be nice as well to cook your own lunch if needed. Other small things is portable air conditioning units in the room and perhaps strong wifi Maybe some soft music at dinner as well Last thing, the game drive was extremely expensive. It would be nice to offer some kind of discount if you’re staying at the lodge. Just an idea to elevate the experience.

Very good

The room/tent was really nice and comfy. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. I did the tour to the Etosha National Park which was great and our tour guide was very fun and had interesting facts about all the wildlife we saw.

Attention! Be careful!

The hotel is professionally stolen!

Our worst decision during the whole trip to Namibia is to stay at the Eagle Tented Lodge hotel. The first thing everyone needs to know is that the hotel is PROFESSIONALLY ENGAGED in THEFT under the patronage of senior management in the person of Enrico Zynda. While you are at breakfast, dinner or safari, your belongings will be searched and at the last moment before your departure they will commit theft. We discovered the theft after breakfast, before leaving the hotel, because we checked things again. We spent a lot of nerves and time, lost the schedule along the route and spent half a day in the police to write a statement. After our departure, they stopped communicating with us and responding to messages. As for the hotel itself, it is practically impossible to sleep in a tent to the sounds of a loudly flapping tent in the wind. We have traveled more than 40 countries and encountered this for the first time. If you don't want to spoil your vacation and travel experience, consider whether to stay at this hotel or not. We didn't want to write this review until the last moment, but we were left with no choice.

Camping on steroids.

We ran away from the rush and needed some rest. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the quietness of the resort. It is really beautiful and I am glad that we stayed the full day without driving out to the park. The Lodge looks like a castle built with African stone. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly, The food is outstanding. The tented cabins are luxurious while bringing you closer to nature.

There are no wifi in the tents, but it is not really a negative for me. The tents are far apart, which I prefer, but people might find it a distance to walk to the lodge if they are booked at the further tents. The walkways are good

Superb Lodge

Beautiful location, excellent service. The tented rooms were very spacious with outside and inside showers. Bath robes and slippers Mosquito nets and turn down every night. Comfortable beds, superb linen and towels. Beautiful dining and bar area. Lovely pool area too.

Here we stayed 3 nights,staff helped with everything we wanted. Etosha national park just 30min away. We enjoyed animals

The best part was maybe giraffes right by the pool while eating dinner.

Stunning lodge for a bit of luxury camping

Beautiful lodge with wonderful views over the park. We could see giraffes roaming from our balcony which was a nice touch. The restaurant and bar are stunning with an almost medieval appearance. Due to the lack of light pollution around our tent, we had an incredible view of the stars at night.

I’m not a frequent camper so I was somewhat irked by all the noise at night from various parts of the tent flapping but shouldn’t be an issue for those that camp often. Our lodge was quite far away from the main base so the walk back to the tent in the evening was a little unsettling, especially when most of the path lights weren’t working. The darkness of the area around our camp did have advantages.

Fabulous and refreshing you will want to extend your stay

This is by far the most luxurious feeling resort we visited with a great feeling, fabulous menu with game taken from their personal reserve, different every evening. The massages we took were very attentive and relaxing. There was so much attention to detail across the resort. This would be so amazing for a couple we were a family but think we may have witnessed a proposal whilst we were here and what a great setting for it. The rooms are amazing and the resort also is worth coming for alone. Aside from this the quality of service and attentiveness you can really tell that you are in a quality establishment. Relaxing by the pool with some easy listening jazz fkj etc and then drinking some cocktails, a personalised menu for dinner, Great choice for breakfast and lots to explore in the local areas. Recommend at least 3+ nights to make the best of this spot including meeting the himba people, night and day game drives, etosha park nearby and more. Other features including the view of the stars from the balcony, and the view from the bath over the mountains, an outdoor shower, good quality bathing products, bath robes and so much more!! This experience promises to be spectacular and doesn't disappoint! Enjoy ❤

Idyllic and adventurous gettaway.

This is a review from the Epacha Lodge&Spa, not the Eagled tended but i think their the same hotel group. We we're diverted to Epacha due to closure of Eagled, apparently due to low tourist numbers. We had an excellent treatment by Graham and Andy and would like to thank both for their sympathy and professionalism. It´s a little bit far from the etosha center (+/-47min) but just outside the hotel there are plenty of animals to see (giraffes walking around etc). The room is idyllic.

Exceptional

We had an absolutely amazing stay - not at Eagle tented camp, which was closed for renovations - therefore we were upgraded to Epacha Lodge. This is a breathtaking Lodge from the views to the rooms down to the exclusive furniture! The staff was wonderful: most specifically, I had a medical emergency on the first day and chose to leave my daughter of 12 at the lodge since I had no idea how long it would take and I didn't want to drag her to the hospital (especially now with COVID etc). Everyone has been taking such good care of her and I don't think she even missed me a second! Since we did not pay the "real" fee for Epacha, I cannot comment on the value for money. All in all, it was a beautiful stay, the nicest and most helpful staff and not to forget the outstanding cuisine!

The only negative comment would have to be that not all furniture has aged so well, especially the chairs in the pool area, some were in what seems to be a permanent state of provisional repair.
