Fantastic, I just love this hotel one of my favourites

Everything!! Very quirky decor and the rooms were very clean . We brought our small dog and he was well catered for too, I used the free dog wash which was a fantastic touch and this was very high standard . The free coffee all day and then cake at 4 o’clock was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing that the hotel could do about this but the seagulls were so so noisy on the buildings surrounding this hotel so bring some earplugs . This would definitely not stop me going to this wonderful hotel again though.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful location

Superb location……..beautiful view from our window and straight out onto the Cleveland Way which is a wonderful walk. Decor was lovely and quirky. Very comfortable extra large bed. Good breakfast and restaurant on site. Fabulous stay and will definitely return.

The facilities and ease of being able to take our Labrador anywhere in the hotel. We had evening dinner at the hotel and our dog accompanied us into the restaurant. The food was excellent. Didn’t have breakfast as it’s a continental type breakfast which is ok now and again. The dog cleaning/showering/grooming area is in the basement accessed via a few steps outside. It’s amazing, warm , clean and spacious. There is a small footbridge over the side road which accesses pedestrian glen type walking areas for the dog.

a good bolt hole for a night, reasonable value, slightly marmite room qualities and decor

an interesting experience. Room in the annex, small and bijou is what i'd call it. Shower teeny and tricky if you were larger. View of back alley brick wall not so nice, decor ecletic and definitely a little tatty around the edges. Did not like the sink - who's idea was it to have one so low??? Shaving was a faff in this situation - proper sinks please!! Some odd but nice touches, fresh milk a joy for coffee and tea, bed comfy, room warm. But no wardrobe - I mean come on. But then an iron. So a mixed bag. Breakfast so so - not the best at the price by far, but then the location looking out at the sea to work quietly is excellent. So confused about some of the ideas. But overall ok...

room cramped, no wardrobe, grotty shower, daft sink, hallucinogenic trip inducing carpet. sad luke warm breakfast... Did not feel as spring fresh as I would have liked in the main rooms...

Excellent hotel, good value

Excellent staff, really dog friendly, breakfast was very nice even though not full traditional hot, great location and very comfortable bed , overall was lovely stay with my dog, will definitely return!

I’d prefer to check in at traditional reception desk instead of using machines although staff were there to assist

Lovely night away in doggy friendly hotel and walking on the beach

The doggy friendliness was great The location was great We had a lovely big room and lounge area with nice sea view Staff were all very friendly and helpful

It became a little crowded &delayed around the breakfast bar as people were waiting for the coffee machine, eggs to boil, bread to toast- so it was a bit of a pinch point Too many stairs fur my knackered knees and no lift in my part of the hotel Heating too hot

Very nice chilled atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Room was had a quirky design and very clean. Restaurant food was great.

Lovely, cosy, seaside stay.

The view from the front of the hotel is fabulous and there are lots of lovely walks straight from the door. The hotel is quirky and unusual but very comfortable!

The parking is very difficult, but that’s a Scarborough problem rather than a Bike & Boot problem!

Comfortable and welcoming.

Bed was very comfy, staff friendly and room was warm. Tea making facilities were excellent.

Cooked breakfast option. Dogs placed in nearby rooms as I was woken a few times during the night. A dog lover but don't want to be disturbed by other people's dogs when paying money for a weekend away.

Fantastic hotel with fantastic friendly staff which makes you want to book again.

The hotel was very comfy and clean, staff were very helpful with anything they were asked for help with. We did not take a dog ourselves but noticed how welcoming your staff were with all the dogs that were at the hotel. The hotel itself is in a very good position overlooking the beach and close to everything else in Scarborough.

This is not what we did not like more of a could be better, breakfast could have a couple of more hot things to choose from ie sausages and different eggs but this is more of a personal thing. Also i know its not for everybody but maybe a tv in one of the downstairs lounges for the windy rainy cold days.

Fabulous Hotel We will most certainly be back. May upgrade to a sea view next time. Loved it.

We liked absolutely everything, everything was thought of and more. Very quirky, excellent value for money, staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. Definitely will be back.

It was fabulous

We liked the quirkiness of the hotel and the fact that dogs are welcome everywhere, it has lots to offer including an iron, even a hair dryer, dog bed and toy which we weren’t expecting but we appreciated it, it’s super clean and smells amazing.

The bathroom window was extremely big and the blind was too see through for us, we could literally see into the street even with the blind down. We felt like everyone could see in so we didn’t use the shower and on a night decided to use the toilet in the dark, I would recommend more of a blackout blind or something to cover the window like window film

The breakfast was excellent, a wide choice of foods to choose from.. The room was warm and the bed very comfortable. Shower excellent and plenty towels. Staff polite and helpful.

Brilliant stay very dog friendly

Facilities brilliant especially that it's dog friendly . Never felt so welcoming with our dog at a hotel before . Shower brilliant . Shampoo n conditioner on point . Bedroom very warm and spacious . Bed very comfortable . Very friendly staff .

No milk in the room so we left without a caffeine fix haha

Awesone hotel

Good location, nice bar/restaurant area the staff member in the foyer was pleasent and very welcoming! Room was modern and very clean. Nice little mini bar and a coffee machine.

Booked a Cosy room called the boot room, now I know it states "Cosy" but if you're taller than average and or have a large stature you may struggle to use the toilet. 😂... The blind didn't fully cover the window so prepare to wake up to a very bright room, Other than that it was spot on.

Amazing

Great location just 5 minute walk down to the beach. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean, and good value for money. The room was great for the little time we spent in it as we were always visiting other places. Great selectio of breakfast both healthy options, english breakfast and continental, we devoured their delicious pancakes every day they were scrumptious. Will definately go back. Great restaurant and delicious food served every day.

Nothing, we were unfortunate only that the cinema had some malfunctioning on the night we decided to watch a movie, but it was no big deal as we went to enjoy the evening in the bar and restaurant instead.

Nicely appointed rooms and public areas in the only hotel we'll stay in in Scarborough

Very welcoming, immediately offered complimentary coffee and cake! Comfortable lounge. Loved the quirky themed nic- nacs and decorations.

No outside terrace or seating designed to optimise the stunning sea views from the public areas.

Fabulous hotel, needs a few tweaks.

It’s a fabulous Victoria hotel that has been modernised with a vibrant style and cleverly fitted out.

Some signs of wear and tear, eg I couldn’t put a cup on my bedside shelf as it was coming off the wall. Also, we booked late check-jn, but after walking up all the stairs to our room on the 4th floor, we couldn’t get in and had to go back down. This was a bit frustrating as we were tired after racing at the running festival.

Lovely rooms and location let down by surly staff and bad service.

Room was fabulous with great views. Good buffet breakfast. Comfortable lounge and bar area. We liked the complimentary coffee and cakes in the afternoon.

Common parts of building very scruffy. Service was very poor. Staff were unfriendly on our arrival. We tried to order drinks on two occasions in the bar via the app without success. On the first night the wine we ordered was unavailable but the staff didn’t bother to tell us despite us waiting for half an hour. When we enquired as to what had happened they were very rude. The second night the drinks didn’t arrive either and when we went to the bar to ask they had lost the order. It’s a pity as otherwise the hotel has a lot going for it.
