A gem away from the hustle and bustle of town.
The Cascadas create a relaxing atmosphere.
The room had a beautiful view and you don’t feel that any other rooms are nearby.

Great room, comfortable and lovely decor - very welcoming and friendly staff, great location surrounded by nature! Nice hikes nearby and the Marina at the bottom of the hill.
Nice swimming pool and areas to relax in. Kitchenette was very clean and great facilities for cooking. They have a lovely breakfast in the morning also. If we had any issues (or needed help) they were more than willing to help us. We loved our stay and would really encourage others to visit - Pura vida!

Very unique boutique family run hotel! Loved the creative design integrating the hotel into the landscape , wonderful views & location surrounded by trees. We stayed in the Nest, which was small but had great views & a little outdoor seating area. Hotel has a refreshing small pool with waterfall. The sons of the owner that worked there were extremely kind & helpful. They were accommodating - allowed us to drop our luggage off early before check-in & packed some fruit for us to take on an early morning excursion. Walking distance to Marina & Quepos.
This wasn’t an issue for us, but there are a lot of steps depending on your room choice.

Food was amazing. Very friendly staff who helped book my excursions for me.
Wifi at the top of the dome was iffy.

This gem is tucked away from the wild hills of Manuel Antonio National Park but close to the town of Quepos. The location is spectacular. Our room (Toucan Suite, I believe) granted us both ocean and jungle views. On our very first day we were visited by white-face monkeys, and every other day by another species of monkey. A variety of birds and lizards visited daily on our balcony. Our morning "alarm clock" were two beautiful red Macaws whose home is a palm tree on the property. Ther are options for breakfast which is included. We always chose the Traditional Tico breakfast which is fruit, eggs, toast, and rice & beans with cilantro, plus either coffee or orange juice. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a day of beach-hopping. We rented a car and drove into town each day. I saw many guests called for taxis. There is a local small community park nearby to look at the marina and watch surfers, with a small playground and some artwork. Also at the bottom of the hill is the posh Marina with a few restaurants and high-end boutiques, as well as a hospital with medical clinics and laboratories (including some medical imaging). On the other end of the street are the restaurants, small stores, and markets for an authentic experience. We did light shopping for snacks, a swimsuit, knock-off Costa Rican futbol jerseys, empanadas, and groceries. We used the kitchen in the hotel each night which saved us some money and allowed us to really enjoy the hotel balcony with a gorgeous view of the moon and the water with a stunning sunset I won't forget. I highly recommend this property.

Love the location. Lots of birds and monkeys came to visit. Great breakfast. Nice pool and bar/restaurant on site. Awesome shower. Kept it clean.
Toilet wouldn't work well. Water wouldn't fill up after flushing. Neighbors were very loud. My lamp would flicker on and off constantly.

The owners and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The pool and bar were beautiful and fun. Delicious fresh drinks and food! The hot breakfast was a huge plus. We hope we can all return some day. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 young kids.
everything was perfect

Loved the tree top canopy room with amazing views and a chance to see macaw parrots nesting. The staff were excellent and provided loads of helpful tips for our stay.
The hill up to the rooms was quite steep and slippery. The entrance road to the hotel was quite narrow and rocky.

On way in thought what are we in for being honest but to our surprise was a lovely accommodation and Dylan at front desk was really nice also told us best places to go eat and drink with 4 kids main concern rooms are clean and had an enjoyable stay locals are also so friendly 😊 ❤️

The hotel located 10 minutes drive from Manuel Antonio. The room was very special, we took the nest with a sea view and it was so great that we decided to take one more night. The staff were very nice and always available.
The portion of the breakfast was too little for me

The terrace for the 3 bedroom villa was amazing and huge. our children loved the pool.
Note that the restaurant only offers pizzas.

An incredibly beautiful place in the middle of a mini jungle! Monkeys running around the tree tops and all manner of birds everyday. Absolutely tranquil place to spend 3 days and unplug from the rat race. My suite was like a tree house built into the side of the mountain. Great breakfast included with my room, choice of foods, a nice swimming pool and towels by the restaurant. Attentive and friendly staff who gonout of their way to make you happy.
ToThe single negative for me was that at times the Internet went down for an hour or so. Maybe this was the heavy rain but I could not have done any work if I had needed to at these times. Luckily I was only there for 3 days so it didn't really affect me too much. There is nothing else negative to say, this was an incredible hotel with great staff and food. Absolutely refreshing and peaceful.

The hotel grounds were like staying in a tropical garden. I loved all the attention to plants and art scattered throughout. It was so pleasant to sit and enjoy the grounds by the pool. In the room, cleaning was completed daily and we enjoyed the modernized facilities. We loved the friendly family dogs hanging out. In the mornings, we were treated to delicious breakfast options served by friendly staff and in the evenings, the cocktails at the bar or fresh made to order pizza was a great way to end the day!

The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the bar and the pool. The room had a nice balcony.
It was not entirely clear from the ad how steep the walk was to the room. It would be helpful to advise older customers or people with disabilities that there are no easy ways to the room other than climbing steep hills.

Staff were accomodating after us requesting to move rooms.
This hotel is run down, we stayed in 2 rooms and both as well as the pool and surrounding area needs to be updated. They have dogs which are well behaved however they bark all night because of the wildlife. So you may struggle to sleep, service is very slow.

The extremely friendly and helpfull staff. The room was great and cozy. The parrots above trees was fun to watch.
It was fun having the room that set just on the pool side ( the one in the picture).. and the curtain kept our privacy.

Beautiful property, family run well appointed rooms and the breakfast was excellent.
Staff were super friendly and responsive. Limited food options in the evenings but the gourmet pizzas were out of this world. Town is nearby for broader choice of restaurants if needed.
Will be considering for a much longer stay in CR in a few years.

The place was exactly as described, food was great & the staff was above amazing!! There were monkeys climbing around the trees, 2 beautiful Macaws nesting right in front of the balcony.
We stayed in the dome at the very top.... the climb up the hill was VERY steep so be prepared

Most everything was a blast. Loved the open aired living room!
How steep the stair risers are. And parking is a bit of a challenge.

Unique stay. Wonderful.
Long hike to the top. Can be kind of scary at night but everything was fine.

amazing place, the highlight of the trip. so much wildlife, great location, great owners, nothing but good things to say about this spot! we chose the penthouse, waking up to monkeys and macaws was truly a great experience
that I couldn’t stay longer!! pura vida

Amazing views, ambience is on point, wildlife, pool area, small walking path to explore, Excellent pizza and Papagayo beers!
The lad that checked us in/manager/bar tender/pizza maker extraordinaire was very helpfull and pleasant to deal with. His pride in the property was apparent and willing to carry our bags to the highest room.
The ocean pic is from a look out point, not a room.
This is hardly a frowny face..Be patient with breakfast. Like anywhere, if all the guests sit down at once. It may take a bit of time.
