The rooms, the design, the beach, the restaurants, the staff, the weekly event calendar (including yoga, breathwork, temazcal (for extra), workshops, fire ceremonies etc.) EVERYTHING was fantastic. I am in love and I want to go back! It was a dreamy, romantic, barefoot stay at Nomade which was the best experience I had in a hotel my whole life - not even kidding. Don't get caught up on the negative comments... I was very concerned after reading all the bad reviews but to our surprise everything was perfect and smooth. Upon check-in we asked to change our ocean front room to another one which had a day bed and the next day (because the first day they were all occupied) - done. However, our first room was actually way larger so bummer... anyway oh and when it gets windy it can be really loud to sleep there so be aware. Both the rooms had the best amenities though... I don't want to give spoilers you should just see for yourselves and get as excited as we did as you're being shown around your room haha!
We loved the restaurants La Popular (thanks David for your service!) for both lunch & dinner, and Macondo was just perfect with its oriental vibes & live music in the evening and the food was yummy. The staff was really helpful as well, so thank you! And the "Journey Designers" which help with your wellness journey in the hotel are the sweetest, friendliest people. Special thanks to Maria & Jose. Thank you for your kindness! And Lorena from front desk and Sofia from concierge! <3
The wind at the beach due to weather - not the hotel's fault... :(

Name and decoration
Some, very unprofessional staff, check in a private villa beach front at 11pm night slept woke up 6am and started my day (tipped the morning beach workers cash and a bottle of a fine 1942 Don Julio to share between them as a gesture of respect and so that I can have my peace of mind), from 11am all of the front desk sends staff to checkout the hot tub which was absolutely fine but I had dudes in my room for a whole hour pretending to do something; they couldn’t Wait until I checked out apparently.
I extended to another room, had to wait until 5pm to check in so went to the bar to chill out, told the bartender what’s his special recipe and it was nice but not 1100 mexican pesos nice for 1 drink, checked out at 1ish and after all they made me pay 90usd for late checkout, 2pm that is, well done on customer service

The beach is the nicest in tulum. The food was delicious. The settin in the jungle is gorgeous. And the staff caters to your every whim. They also have amazing daily events that will keep you busy. It's the best place to stay in Tulum.

The staff was amazing and so incredibly hospitable. They made our 1 year anniversary so special. Our concierge was the best — delightful and anticipated every need.
We love this property and all of the wellness amenities, decor, ambience — it truly made us feel comfortable and on another level of vacation. We love Tulum and Nomade is the #1 reason.

Breakfast was great. Super friendly staff.

Great vibe and atmosphere directly on the beach. Fun to have a tent as a room with an open bathroom. The staff is insanely friendly and the breakfast is superb.
Our rooms were near the main generator and because they are tents the noise kills the jungle atmosphere. It wasn't uncomfortable but would be a good point of improvement if they were able to move them somewhere else.

Amazing vibes. The Treehouse room was very cool. Food very nice at both restaurants. Activities were probably the best thing — chill live music every day and the healing sounds meditation was awesome. Probably our best stay in Tulum.
