Niets

good view from the terrace for breakfast in the morning, directly off the road so easy to get to and makes a perfect stopover when crossing through the mountains

Fantastic value, kind staff, welcomed with tea and cookies,, basic room but can't beat the price
Nothing since I expected the room to be basic

Mohammed was an excellent host. Breakfast was farm to table.

Well-first of all this was possibly the only hotel in the area and I just took it for sleeping. No hot water (means no shower!), no TV, nothing much to do.. I think there was even no heating....as I slept in clothes? Positive aspects: cheap, nice dude is running the place and he made quite good dinner...which was the only option in the 30 km area, I think.
Noise in the house and out side the house ...no soundproof at all! cOLD ROOM, COLD WATER.

Typical local house surrounded by Atlas mountains, on the road to Ouarzazate, perfect to get rest after driving from Marrakech. Clean room, late night great dinner with one of the best tajine ever eat and a lovely breakfast too. Thanks for the attention and welcoming from Mohamed was great. Totally suggested.

The accommodation is located just next to the road in the mountains. It is good idea to stop here if you are crossing the mountain pass at evening.
Breakfast was simple but ok.
Nice owner.
Check the sunrise from the terrace in the morning.
Simple facilities.
There is no indicator/sign you are at the right place when you arrive but the owner should show up.

Simple and comfortable accommodation. Good breakfast. Great meal for MAD 120 for 2 people. Lovely hosts. Highly recommend.

We had nice stay in Dar Zara. Mohamed made us nice traditional dinner (altough we came quite late in the evening!) and took care after us very well.

The owner was nice and helpful. We arrived late and very tired from driving all day and thought we would have to skip dinner so we could find a place to stay before sunset. But Chicken tajine dinner was offered and happily accepted. We got a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed and the single bed was not very comfortable, I could feel the spring poking my back LOL However it was good value for the price, and we appreciate the last minute booking/dinner.

The host is GREAT! Super hospitable and kind, also a skillful cook!
One might say the place is in the middle of nowhere but since it's right next to the road, the location could actually be considered quite good - you pull over, rest, continue with your trip.
I'd say the accommodation was basic; bathroom mediocre with no towels and almost no soap.

Great place, great host.

Dar Zara offers what you would expect for the price. It's basic and cheap and near Aït Ben Haddou, that's why we chose it and were happy with it. Everything was clean. The owners offer a good dinner for 50 MD and the breakfast included was delicious.
The shower has no warm water. The accommodation is directly at a street where you can hear cars and trucks passing by during the night.

Fantastic hospitality. Our room was warmed up for our arrival on a chilly evening. We had a comfortable sleep and owners didn't hesistate to make breakfast very early in the morning only for us as we were leaving. And when realised that we forgot a guidebook in the room, they sent it to Marrakesh with friends. That was truly terrific. Very friendly hosts, and best location to have rest if you don't want to cross mountains in a dark. Thank you very much!
