Very good

The hotel is more on the expensive side.However,it is worth it for the room you get and the fact that it has an elevator.The AC was really nice.It was central AC.I liked the view from the two balconies in the room.

Not worth to stay

My room had nothing in the bathroom. I had to go to the front to ask for everything. My TV did not work. I had to go to the front so they can have someone come in and fix the TV. The room with OK but I would not go back again.

The staff seemed like he did not care when I told him there was no soap or anything in the room. He’s like when I get a chance I’ll send someone to you, so if they knew I was going there and I was going to stay there that room should have been done.

This hacienda looks really good, the room was big enough with a nice balcony overlooking the pool, and it is close to everything. The receptionist helped us organise a snorkelling trip.

The ventillation from the couldn't be turned off even with the assistance of the staff. Maybe because of this, there was a mouldy smell in the room

If staff would remind clients to be courtious and make their noise in their room not disturb other who need rest and ale

Hacienda type, Mexican Vive, close to all eatablishment (downtown Playa del Carmen). Walking distance to Bus going to airport.

Noise from other visitors who stayed on a nook infront of our room (was up because of their noise- stayed and chat and laugh until past midnight). They dont care and u deratand even if we openned the room. (group of families more than 10).

Good for two night

Spacious room, clean, centric. I do not complain about the music at night. Pl- del Carmen is a party place. If you want to have it quiet do not go there or stay away from the center. It is ones own decision to got there or not!!! Nice pool to use.

Rooms are very dark inside, no daylight, I felt locked up- only the rooms towards the street have daylight. Upon arrival had to wait more than half hr for check-in. Receptionist had to take care of another place too. After waiting one hr in line for passport control, another half for the bus ticket, the bus ride (all after a transatlantic flight) this was just the top. No wifi in the room, a hotel nowadays should invert in room wifi, not only offer it in common areas.

nice big room with comfy bed, good shower, balcony

it is near Coco Bongo so there is really heavy music at night, hard to sleep without earplugs

Few things to clean but I def will return.

I’ve stayed here 3 times now and like the location, decor, staff is always nice, and I like to treat myself with a bathtub when possible.

There was a strong smell of mildew, noticeable especially when the AC was off. Also I always feel like the room keys and remote controls are not clean.

a great location very close to 5th avenue and close to the bus depot. staff was helpful in resolving a small maintenance

great location and loved the Mexican villa feeling!

pillows and bedding should be updated. towels were new!

Exceptional

Location, staff, amazing pool, good restaurant next door. Very clean, front desk very friendly and patient with my limited Spanish. Wonderful hacienda feel. Few steps to beach and 5th Ave but no 5th Ave noise at night. Room amenities very good.

Bed was exceptionally hard!! Hot water sometimes limited.

Not recommended, low maintenance

The rooms are very big, staff handle all special requests

The room stinks, no wifi inside the room only outside, very low maintenance of the room, towels with holes, rust on everything in the showers on the lamps Not recommended!

location is great . check in was fast and very efficient

pool was closed for the duration of my stay because someone threw up in it . Did not manage to clean it . security and staff friendliness can be improved in significantly. never a good reason to get loud and aggressive to guests .

Noisy, noisy, noisy.

Nice swimming pool. Big room.

So noisy! Terrible. A lot of spanish people with their lowbred children - screaming all day in the swimming pool so you cant swim there. Then noise at night - up to 3:45 A.M. Uncomfortable bed.

Overall disappointing.

Location was good.

The facilities listed on booking.com did not match those offered. Allocated room did not have a balcony. The shower did not have hot water. The pillows were rock hard.

The room was overpriced for what the hotel offered.

Location was great! Easy access to everything. The room was smallish and the “balcony” was just a tiny outcropping overlooking the street. The pool was fair sized and clean, but the water was freezing!

No restaurant or bar onsite. One was attached outside, but inconvenient. Coffee in room upon arrival, but we were expected to pay if we wanted any more. No water included in room. Everything just seemed to be on the cheap.
