Delightful stay, great location, clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Happily stay again!
The staff are super friendly and helpful - I loved Sian and Sofia ( who was on night duty) - all the staff were thoughtful and helpful and made me feel seen and welcome. I liked the diversity of the staff and patrons. I was able to loan an international power adapter and they will allow you to use the restaurant area for your own meals, if you'd rather not eat food in your room. I was given a goodie back with candy and water and a lovely room on the second floor - it was clean and attractive, the bed was great and the shower strong. As part of the IHG group they meet the standards required to make the stay worthwhile. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
They will impose a parking fee of 100 pounds if you dont register visitors vehicles, I think that needs to be explained more clearly at reception that this goes for ALL cars. We had to call to get them to cancel the fine. Just be mindful of the parking rules. Otherwise a great place to relax and unwind, lovely view from the window and peaceful and quiet. Loved being here.

Would not return.
Decent location and parking
Some extremely rude staff members. They do not check messages and blame guests for any miscommunications… if you would like to check-in after midnight be prepared for a rude welcoming even if you have paid and warned in advance!

Would definitely return
Reception friendly and go over & above to assist. Good atmosphere even at night/early hours of the morning Sophie the Restaurant Manager was warm, welcoming, over & above customer service at breakfast. All food items were amazing Location & parking great, cabs can pull up to the entrance door, no need to wait outside as you can see them whilst seated in reception
I couldn't get the heater to work too many buttons!! ...

Customer service needs a massive improvement! 😒
1. Customer service from Sofia/Sophia, her service is definitely 10/10. She's working all alone to meet customers needs on Mon morning (06/05/2024) at the breakfast area, very responsive and polite too. She deserves a bonus or a reward at least. Customer service at the reception from the gentleman with beard and the lady who welcomed us on Saturday morning with speedy speech and response. 2. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable.
1. Customer service from the ladies that worked on Sunday morning at the breakfast area. They had no smile on their face at all, we specifically asked for a refill at the fruit area for at least twice, no responding to that whatsoever. You can clearly see they weren't happy with their job. I'm not being mean but I feel like they didn't understand English either... Sofia/Sophia was working all by herself with cleaning the tables, refill the empty sections and inform customers when the food is going to be ready etc Whilst 3 ladies at the breakfast area on Sun couldn't even get one of the tasks done. 2. All the other members from the ones I have mentioned in the good section seemed quite lazy, one of them went outside talking instead of serving us and made us wait for a long time. No smile either. It actually gave me a feeling there's a zombie apocalypse going on. 3. There was a problem with the room too - no side tables, a lady (medium straight blonde hair with a fringe) at the reception picked up the call and found no solution apart from saying "we'll get someone replace it" and my mum had to tell her what to do - which was to simply "change a room". We went down to get the keys for the new room, that lady's attitude was like she couldn't be bothered to help us out and made the whole situation awkward and dreadful. 4. Breakfast area, no refills and lack of options.

Breakfast great. Staff friendly. Plenty of parking. Very clean
Dinner was horrendous. Avoid. Unedible and I’m not one to usually complain!

Overall nice stay. The breakfast was a lovely bonus.
Breakfast had a nice selection. Hot food- bacon, hash browns, scrambled egg, rolls, bread, sausages. Then also cereal and fruits. The room was a decent size for my sister and I. The tv worked. The staff were helpful about the area, helpful when we needed more tea in our room and made us feel welcome.
The bathroom door couldn't close which was a bit awkward. The flooring was too high so the door was always ajar. There was some leakage near our room so a damp smell but i guess that's temporary.

Property not at location identified when I booked further away from the airport than expected hopele
I’ve booked the hotel as on your site. It stated 5 miles away from Birmingham Airport, but turned out to be much greater distance but 20 minutes away so decided not to stay over. It’s too far – very disappointed.

Okish
Only location
WiFi keeps dropping and slow speed Room key card keeps deactivating and requires activation once or twice a day at reception desk Cannot open windows because one of tree branches were overgrown and pops into the room Remote controls of TV had dead batteries and even without battery slot cover Room cleaning service was very basic and on one occasions didn’t even replace clean towels
