Great location, close to beach, central attractions, a few restaurants. Bathroom was good, wifi worked well, air condition too. They organised a rental car for me with pickup at the airport, and that worked fine.
A lot shabbier than it looks on the picture. I clearly had a different room than in the pictures. It's called Economy Queen, and the only "queen" about the room is the bed. There's actually not much else. There's no chair, no desk, hardly enough room to put a suitcase or even backpack. When you open the room door, you are pretty much directly standing in the bed which fills 80 percent of the room. There's only one side where you can get in the bed. The bathroom is good, bigger than all the rest of the room. I paid for 2 nights, but left after 1 night. Even taking into account that Turks and Caicos in general is an expensive destination, charging 160 dollars for that room is outrageous. One of the worst value for money deals I ever had on booking.com. Even in Manhattan you get more for that money.

We loved the historic charm, the amazing staff, the food, and the proximity to the beach (which we mostly had all to ourselves). The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious; we had everything we needed. Having tea on the porch was lovely.
It would be nice if they had bicycles or snorkel gear to borrow.

lovely historical In run by a lovely lady who really tries to make you feel welcome. It feels like your home from home.

The breakfast was great. The location was central. But the proprietress (Loli) was spectacular. Loli did everything from seat you in the restaurant to make calls on your behalf to taxis, whale watch operations, and/or the food store.
Be prepared to "rough" it a little - Grand Turk remains kind of a 3rd world place. But safe and hospitable. Do yourself a favor and get a golf cart at the airport...the "private dealers" of golf carts are a bit sketchy. The carts ran, but barely. The best carts are near the Cruise center...and of course, you'll pay - but it's worth it.
Communication remains a big issue on Grand Turk. Contact your cell phone provider BEFORE going and make sure you will have service. The internet was in and out throughout the week there.

Beautiful historic site building and fab restaurant.

Loli was a great host. Brilliant property with real history, and lovely rooms. Breakfast to order. We had the entire place to ourselves for some of our stay. Quiet, peaceful during the day. Popular for food in the evening, so more people around then. Hire a golf cart to explore the island. Recommend the Arches for food. Brilliant diving with Blue Water Divers.
Think it suggested would sleep three when booking, but that would be pushing it. Large double bed, not sure where you would fit anyone else.

This is a very charming guest house in an excellent location. Nice patio and peaceful surroundings. Rooms are clean and spotless. Friendly staff to look after you.
My room was extremely small. I should perhaps have paid more attention to it when booking, but I was a bit surprised. However, in spite of this, it had everything you need and it was fresh and very clean.

Beautiful colonial architecture, bar space, delicious food in the restaurant
Slow internet, but this is expected on Grand Turk

that it was close to everything.
they were under staffed. you had to call the manager by phone if you wanted anything, including a cup of coffee. Never enough food on property to serve clients. Everything took for ever. to get dinner for 2 took about 2 in a half to 3 hours. you had to call to get clean towels. if you wanted your room cleaned you had to call. all the manager would say was sorry, I don’t have enough staff. it would take so long to get dinner after ordering, I seen several couples leave on several different days. it was really sad.

Full of charm, this is a lovely property in a good location. Enormous comfortable bed! Best feature though is it’s manager Lolli who is almost a one woman show in these covid times. Great communication throughout the booking process, getting’stuff’ organised for us, friendly and convivial and a superb cook. The food here is very good indeed.
There’s nothing I’d suggest to improve it. If you like shiny marble hotels then this might not be your thing but we definitely loved it!

This place is absolutely incredible. We felt very welcome and all of the staff of the hotel were friendly and accomodating. The hotel manager was very helpful and had breakfast made for us each morning if we desired. All of the food at Turk's Head is high quality and as someone with food allergies, I found that they were very accomodating to my dietary restrictions, which I always appreciate! The building itself is historic and most of the original architecture is well preserved throughout. Be sure to spend a little time hanging under the gazebo in the afternoon to appreciate the beauty of the property. If you're lucky the resident cat will take a nap near your feet :) I look forward to staying here again in the future!
Everything was so good there honestly isn't anything wrong with our stay. We were completely satisfied.

Loli, the manager was truly amazing and I really appreciated her!! She did everything she could to make my stay so enjoyable and even helped me line up a bike rental and a horse ride and swim! Her food was amazing too! And the setting with the property is very beautiful and charming, surrounded by flowers and lights strung above! So picturesque that it was featured in a major magazine for Turks and Caicos! The ocean is a very short walk across the street and I witnessed two beautiful sunsets!! Also, the location on the island is ideal, very central to reaching everything and a close walk to a large grocery store and a local bakery! The whole coast on this side of the island is truly breath taking, explored on foot, via bike, or on horseback! Loved my special time and adventure there!! Thanks Loli for making it so great!!😁
The economy room was a little small, but very clean and nice attention to detail. I'd recommend paying a little extra for one of the bigger rooms!

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating! Lolly was so sweet and always went out of her way to go above and beyond. We had the executive suite which is a great room for a family with double sink in the bathroom, plenty of counter space and a modern toilet. The garden room is perfect for a person or a couple. Although the room wasn't that big, it made do of the space with shelving to put our stuff. The bathroom in the garden room was huge and updated which was a plus.
