Perfect hotel stay. Absolutely spot on in all areas.

Everything! The location, the facilities, the staff, room was exceptional. Everything exceeded expectation’s by a mile.

For location I would stay again but would bring my earplugs and my own pillow next time.

Location is brilliant, bed comfortable and room clean.

The pillow was very thin and uncomfortable, there were some ongoing noises at night, I was told via messages on booking.com that parking was £20 but then was charged £25. Eventually I was refunded £5 but it created fuss and an uncomfortable situation. As my online check in did not work I wasn’t told basic information like check out time, WiFi password etc.

Make sure and clarify about breakfast and parking before booking

Booking.com had it listed under 'breakfast included' and 'free parking.' Parking was £25 and breakfast was £13. Not sure if this was problem at the side of hotel or Booking.com website, but made for an embarrassing couple of interactions, where I thought these had been included but the hotel informed me they were not. Either way, the communications from hotel didn't state anything so I had nothing to go back to. I even went back and searched again on booking.com website and again it came up as providing both.

Not the best, would avoid in future

The location was good, free car park was handy

Only provided two very thin uncomfortable pillows, very stingy with towels as well, not even a hand towel just two smallish bath towels. Large gap between shower door and bath leaving the floor dangerously wet with no towels to dry the floor and perhaps prevent a fall. Black mold on shower handles that should and could have been cleaned off. Just overall could have been cleaner

Location in the centre of Cardiff and near shopping centre and walking distance to all shops. Really comfortable beds and staff were helpful

Great location

Perfect location. Spacious room. Very helpful and courteous reception staff.

The first room was overpowered by an overwhelming smell of aftershave, as though a bottle had been tipped. Contacted reception, and they couldn't have been more accommodating and moved us straight away ☺️. The second room was great 👍 Carpets could do with a good clean, but other than that, we will definitely stay again.

Overpriced Hotel and Very Noisy

Location is good

Too noisy, doors slamming shut at 4am in the morning from all the drunk Stag and Hen parties returning. Rooms very tired looking and need modernising.

Over all good stay and would stay again , basic but clean and good value for money

Location is great , hotel is clean and breakfast was great .

When we first arrived there seemed to be an unpleasant smell around the bar area , smelt like sewerage… We came in from a concert opposite so the bar was very full and there was only one member of staff serving , it took 20minutes to get a drink .

Great value, already booked to return!

Lovely staff, nice room, huge bed, breakfast was delicious. Also, as a diabetic, there were plentiful sweeteners in the room and at breakfast! (You'd be surprised how many hotels haven't got them readily available!) We've already booked for our next stay!

The shower door leaked water out onto the floor, not really a criticism but I didn't like leaving the water to clean up for the staff, so sorry for the wet bath mat!

Amazing location and staff

Fabulous hotel located within 2 minutes walk of the St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff. On site parking available. The staff were incredibly helpful and the room was clean, very quiet despite being in the city centre and the beds were super comfortable.

Great location for a clean and friendly stay

The reception staff were fantastic and welcomed me back each evening with a smile and a hello. The room was clean, the bed and telly were huge, there was a kettle and tea bags. It was really well located for most things in Cardiff city centre.

My room was at the back of the hotel and was noisy during the night with deliveries for the shopping centre next door. The pillows were flat and hard and the decor of the room was a little tired. I also couldn't get my laptop to link up to the smart TV - not a big deal and I could have asked reception to help if I'd been desperate.

Offers lots of potential and was cheap but you can see why

It’s a great location, rooms are generously sized I have used the hotel plenty of other occasions and it offers plenty of potential

The room was large but the shower was iffy barely useable there was one towel in the room one tea bag the containers holding the shower gel and shampoo were about to fall out of their fixings on the wall it looked like it needed some TLC and the room set up was based upon give the bare minimum which isn’t the best way to present a room

Cardiff is a wonderful place.

The location was excellent for shopping and the Motorpoint arena. Friendly staff, on site parking and beautiful breakfast. The room was lovely and had everything you need.

Great location and expect some street noise

The location was great. Big bed and good size room. Friendly helpful staff. Luggage storage. Great prepaid breakfast offer with good selection.

The street noise was pretty bad. It was a bank holiday weekend and we expected some noise but the screaming & yelling in the lane below our room until the wee small hours was terrible. 2 nights of it. Take earplugs!

Great location, staff were a delight.

Lovely little stay for my birthday, staff were an absolute delight. Bed very comfy, which is the most important thing for a night away in my opinion!

Only slight downside was a lack of Aircon resulting in leaving the window open all night, weather was cooler for us, so not too bad. The road traffic was a bit noisy, but we still managed a good night's sleep.

Disappointing

The location.

The AC was listed in the room facilities. No AC, just a fan inside the wardrobe. The room had no cleaning service in three days. No checks about if clean towels or beding was needed. The seat toilet was broken. I've spoke with the reception team just to hear not all the rooms had AC and after covid the rooms are cleaned every day just under request. I've booked the room for my family and I'm absolutely disappointed as they don't have what do I paid for. Aditionaly, I've contacted the hotel writing a complaint. Reply from them?? Just to tell with no professional manners was not the correct hotel, but it was. Second attempt to have an answer, asking to check the dates with the complaint, nothing from them. Last chance, complaint sent to costumer service from Radisson Hotels, no reply from them. Absolutely disappointed with the hotel and the unprofessional costumer service. Never again with any Radisson Blu.

Bathroom - the basin tap leaked back onto the surface when turned off and the seal at the bottom of the shower screen was broken. The duvet cover was torn along the top seam
