Property was in an excellent location beautiful scenery and good value for money
It was a little dated and walking to the shower from room was quite a challenge
3.5
Location was great, fully equipped kitchen, clean rooms
WIFI only available in one spot next to reception, not in the room. Very inconvenient meaning there is no mobile network coverage due to the remote location.

Breakfast was lovely, paid extra
The price was horrendous for what we got. I paid £170 for 3 people in a 6 bed dorm. Only 3 beds made. Top floor, which was probably once a cupboard as no head room to get up stairs or though door. Only a roof window.

Great location and good facilities (kitchen etc) Clean and everything worked as expected
Like other YHA's we visited - a bit run down and soul less in terms of vibe. The dinners, although good value weren't the most inspiring!
2.0
The location and parking
There was no hot water the first night, no Internet the whole 3 days. The board stated breakfast buffet, I paid 3.95 and got 2 slices of bacon in a bun.. The pictures of the bedrooms on the website are very misleading. My room didn't look anything like the rooms. I stated I was near 7ft yet I was placed in the very top room, up 5 flights of stairs, squeeze up the last flight to the roof. I could only stand up in the room next to the entrance door othwise I had to double over to get into bed. Heating didn't work. Even a hostel should have some condiments and some oil for use given the price charged to guests

Beds and pillows could be more comfortable
Price was higher than expected (£100+ per night in shared room)
Would be good to have a chair or two in the room

The facilities were great. Plenty of hot water for the showers, big drying room which proved very useful. The kitchen was a great size with plenty of fridge space, food storage space to go around. The pizzas were delicious! The staff were so friendly and helpful and always willing to help.
Nothing at all. The location was sensational. We couldn’t have hoped for more.
