I spent 3 nights at this Riad with my husband and our 2 kids (4 and 9). The location was perfect to stay out from the big city, it was calm, easy to reach, perfect for shopping in the Medina, 10 minutes walk from Salé's beach and 20 minutes walk to the tram that goes directly to Rabat.
The breakfast was good. The room big and clean. The terrace was perfect
to spend some time in the evening.
But the main reason to go back would be Amina. She is just lovely and helpful! She washed our clothes and didn't want to be paid because most of the clothes were of our kids, she gave us good advice about where to go. She found for us a shuttle to Casablanca airport and agreed to a very good price for us. She was fun and lovely with the kids.
We really felt home and had the perfect end for our tour in Morocco.

The house is very beautiful and clean, the room was comfortable. The location was practical, easy to reach on foot or by car. There was a possibility to park nearby.

This is a very authentic old riad. Host Amina is great! My room at the roof terrace was wonderful. The location is maybe unexpected, it is completely out of the tourist area, located in the old domestic medina of Salé. If you are into that, this is perfect.
The area is safe and people are very nice (like in all Marocco). With tram (€0,60) or petit taxi you can cheap and easily go to Rabat whenever you want.
Host Amina knows where to go, takes you to a real local hammam if you want, knows nice taxi drivers.
Love this place, I will definitely stay here again.

Moroccan climate, large spaces, we were the only guests at that time, so the facility was exclusive. Many thanks to Amina, a wonderful woman who made us feel at home. Tasty breakfast. Location off the beaten track, quiet, in close proximity to the ocean, view from the terrace of the whole city and the ocean. A bit of the way to the public transport you have to go on foot or take a taxi.
Internet in the lobby 4/5; in rooms only 1/5
Due to the climate and construction, it is cold in February and you need to dress warmly for bed

Well, let s go step by step.
The location and cost benefit are very good for the SALÉ medina, not to Rabat (if you are by car, that's fine). There is easy parking spot on the street and private one pretty close. Even been inside the medina, the Riad is very close to a main road able for cars and you can park to load and unload.
The place is very beatutiful, nice breakfast, beautiful furniture and decoration. Good to point out that there's no lift and a bit of stairs.
For overall about the phisycal structure would be a 9, but what makes this place deserve a 10 is not a thing, but an angel fallen on Earth called Amina! She is the one who cares about the place and do everything for you. She speaks barelly nothing of english or spanish (speaks arabic and french), but she speaks with her heart. She is a giant. She waited for us until 2 AM to welcome us and open the door, helped us to find a parking and then unload the car under TORRENTIAL rain, and just left because I told her to do so and I could manage that myself to take her out of the rain.
She helped booking guides To Rabat and Salé (recommend both, Magi and Mohammed), cooked, cleaned and ALWAYS caring of us and welcoming with a huge smile and sweetness.
She is definetely one of the best things I wiil take from Salé/Rabat and even Morocco.
If you wanna try, give it a shot and I hope you guys can have the same experience we had.
Ps.: She did not ask us to do a review at Bookings at any time.
We are doing with the same heart she had with us all!
Is not that I did not like, but is good to aware that the place has no lift.
For me is fine, but for my Mom with almost 70 yo, after a huge walking day, it's an extra effort.
It's good just to people know before booking.

This riad is beautiful. Because it is so small we had the entire place to our selves which was super nice.
The beds were comfortable and our room was nice.
Amina the house keeper was amazing. She is super kind and friendly. She made us fabulous couscous on a Friday.
The location of the riad is in an ugly place but once in the riad all fear disappears.

Ameena the housekeeper was such a wonderful and helpful host. She showed us the rooftop views and explained how to take the boat to Rabat and whoch tramline to take. She also arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station when we left.
I liked everything.
3.8
The best was wonderful terrace but it's the only one advantage.
First of all location of Riad is awful slums and looks dangerous, especially for female travellers. The property is hard to find.
The room: beds are uncomfortable (you will feel it in your spine) with stinky blankets and old mattresses that remember 70s. Terrible musty smell, our noses were full of dust that is everywhere in the room. Bathroom: broken flush, tiny shower with very weak water pressure, small ants on the bathroom rugs.
Breakfast: served in dirty, broken dishes. All you will get is fresh orange juice in dirty glass and coffee with strange taste. At the end of our stay we had to pay extra charge for parking, for so called protection to some odd men. This was arranged by Amina but she told us about it only when we were about to leave. Amina speaks only Arabic or French and although friendly at the beginning when it came to balance the bill she rounded up the price to her benefit and gave us no receipt. Overall we do not recommend to stay in this Riad, unless you fancy dirty, smelly rooms.
6.3
The Riad is very nice and situated in the Medina (old town). Its a very authentic place to stay and close to all the medina shops and market. People there are very polite and smiling and not pushy. The room is big and theres a nice terrace with Wi-Fi. The woman Amina was helpfulI if you wanted her to call a taxi. She only speaks french and arabic.
Beds are quite hard - especially the 2 single beds.
Breakfast is with cake and very thin coffee - we suggest nescafé in stead and some of the round tasty bread. Orangejuice was nice and the fresh oranges very tasty.
9.6
Friendly and helpful staff, traditionally decorated house. Quiet surroundings. In the old medina.
