Lovely large room & bathroom. Staff very helpful & friendly
Great food in the restaurant
Gardens looked really nice but unfortunately rain prevented us enjoying them

Room was lovely and big, well furnished and decorated with a terrace. Bathroom was lovely looked newly done. Gardens beautiful, food and staff excellent.
Bed was a bit hard for older bones and we will need a super king next time as used to sleeping on one.
Water in fridge great idea but neither of us could get stopper out when we went to get a drink before bed. Just little things.

Great accessible room. Lovely standard of cleanliness and decor too
Slow breakfast and two of us had eggshell in our poached eggs. Gluten free toast was very over cooked

Breakfast was excellent, a good choice and the staff most helpful
Could not find any faults on our short stay

Lovely grounds, with picturesque views - perfect for a warm summer evening
Only 1 thing - could have done with a rubber mat to put in bath as shower was over bath - had to take care not to slip.
Seems trivial but for people in their 70’s could be a little bit tricky

The room was huge and the bathroom spectacular. All of the staff were extremely polite and responsive from the moment we checked in and were helped with our bags. The food was great and the location in the heart of Dedham Vale stunningly beautiful.

the staff were amazing. the food first class. accommodation lovely and clean, decor tasteful. toiletries luxurious. stunning location.
a bit pricey for our little dog. £25.00 a night is too much in my opinion.

The food was ok but not great, breakfast very good but dinner disappointing, very tough steak , was told it was a cheaper cut but not at £20 plus

Comfortable and very nice room. Big bathroom with excellent bath products. Bowl and towel for our puppy. In general the hotel is very nicely decorated and the restaurant has very characteristic and romantic atmosphere.

The Breakfast was outstanding and included the rare appearance of grapefruit. The staff were all very helpful and hard working. We would particularly thank the manageress for her quiet understanding and other staff who were both hardworking and friendly. The gardener is to be congratulated for the upkeep of the patios and surrounding garden, The views from the Inn are of Constable quality and the village a gem.
The evening meal was dreadful and if the Crown gets a new chef we might return. The Crispy Duck was inedible and would cause a trip to the dentist and the skate was overcooked. The manageress was however understanding and did not charge us for these two dishes but it spoiled the evening,
