Beautifully presented, very stylish
The pillow were a bit hard, if I had to find anything to point out, otherwise it was exceptional
5.0
Super stylish with beautifully designed bedrooms and bathrooms
Very helpful staff
Nothing!
4.5
From the initial phone call to the inevitable farewell, the staff were lovely, and welcoming to us, our dog, and our day guests over the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was absolutely superb, and the location was spot on.
The only thing I would suggest changing is the meagre amount of water in the teapot - especially when more was specifically requested! But that was the only minor inconvenience in the whole stay.

Generally brilliant property
Food was beautiful!!!
We were not warned by Will to not open the window which let’s in cooking extract smell straight into bedroom
4.5
Lovely original home cooked food with quality products.
Furbished to a very high standard and very clean accommodation
Felt like owners care
Set in a pretty village
Pillows were quite hard so woke up with a bit of a stiff kneck
Breakfast quite expensive as all individual bits add up as oppose to breakfast included or set price

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy, quiet, clean and the bed was confortable. There was complementary water, tea and coffee. The parking space was great. We had the full breakfast that was mouthwatering.
4.5
Lovely village pub. Nice dog walks. Great choice of beers and wines
No restaurant on Sunday night.

The staff were amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable. We had a fabulous room. We enjoyed our stay and only wish it had been for more than one night. The pub was so comfortable. We had dinner in the pub and it was delicious! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
There was not anything that we didn’t like at this property

Heel vriendelijk personeel. De omgeving heerlijk rustig en de kamer was smaakvol ingericht.

The pub is absolutely lovely. The decor of the whole place, including our room, is stylish and done to a very high standard. The food was great and all the staff were welcoming and charming. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Nothing at all!

The building is beautiful, the food was very good and the Chef was great. The village is lovely, good for walking and exploring this area close to the Thames and to Oxford.
Communication between members of staff was not very good. Mistakes were made for lack of training, lack of finesse
5.0
Beautiful building with great sized room. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had dinner which was lovely and the breakfast was the best we've had.
There wasn't anything

4.0
The room was lovely, and the location is great as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The staff were pleasant, too.
Unfortunately, the food in the restaurant is pretty average. The breakfast was pretty good, but after a couple of nights eating in the hotel, we opted to go elsewhere.

Beautifully redecorated, lovely setting
There is clearly friction between some of the staff. I’ve never ever heard staff swear at one another directly in front of customers, even if under their breath.

Location was perfect in a small pretty village but near to bigger towns for visiting. The room was beautiful, couldn’t fault a thing. The breakfast was included and there was lots of choice, great portion sizes and delicious. We ate in the bar the first night and that was amazing too. The bar/restaurant area was really cosy and the food was a bit more special than a normal pub and was all delicious. Staff were really friendly and helpful. All in all it was perfect!!
Not a thing.

The staff and Hotel are fantastic, this was our 4th visit and we will be back. The team here will do all they can to make your stay as good as it can be, Above and beyond ! 5 Star team.....
The menu is not as varied as it used to be and could do with a little more variety in our opinion, buy otherwise, the place is perfect. We will be back.

Everything was perfect
4.5
Gorgeous pub and accommodation, with comfortable beds and amazing breakfast included. Delightful garden areas and beautiful historic building. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was top quality. Good location not too far from Oxford, in a quiet village.
Unfortunately it was very hot during our stay and the lack of aircon was an issue, especially at night. We would have liked a fridge in the room, so we could keep our drinks and medicines cool.

Good location, decorated to high standards

Beautiful decor.
Breakfast on our first morning was extremely slow, we reminded them that we had been waiting over half an hour for muesli!
Chicken Sunday roast was not great for the price paid (just a pan-fried chicken breast).

Beautiful property with lots of character and rooms were very well decorated, comfortable and clean.
All the staff were so polite and helpful, and the bar and restaurant area are lovely with log burner and sofas as well as tables.
Nothing really.
