Great property with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the fireplace, deck and cozy nook with the red chair.

It was a nice property and we had nice stay overall. However, it would be great to get the carpet cleaned as it had a lot of stains. Although the place is clean, the stains make the place feel and look dirty.
Secondly, the 2nd level was a lot colder and there wasn’t enough blankets for the bedrooms.
Thirdly, please provide extra kitchen towels and garbage bags. There was only one kitchen towel and one garbage bag. And please get better toilet tissue and paper towels.

The house was beautiful, quiet, and clean. Star did a fantastic job recommending this house to me. Would absolutely return to this lovely spot!

The property’s amenities were very nice. Certainly would recommend stay.

Overall, it was a wonderful, spacious home that is close to a kid-friendly beach, grocery store, and restaurants in Carnelian Bay. The hosts had a well stocked kitchen with various utensils. The first floor does get much colder than the main floor. Space heaters will be a good addition since central heaters become inefficient.
Definitely, would consider staying here again.

Our family spent an amazing weekend at the Agate Road Retreat (again). It is a wonderfully appointed house conveniently located to all that North Shore has to offer, including hiking out the door both up the ridge and to the Lake. Truckee is easily accessible as well. With the multi-level arrangement, our adult children had plenty of room to spread out. The house is clean and the kitchen is well-equipped with a deck barbecue. I recommend this home for any season.

Lots of room. Big and well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Everything well maintained and nice. Fairly private with no close neighbors.

Overall, this house was very nice. Our family of five stayed and we had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked, bathrooms had plenty of everything and the house was fully functional. The house has a lot of steep stairs, as the kitchen and master bedroom are on the 3rd floor essentially. Garage is on the bottom, then stairs up to the middle floor and then more stairs up to the 3rd level. Not the end of the world for us as we are very capable of going up and down stairs but if someone wasn't able to, it might be a problem.
There is no yard to hang out in or play for the kids, if that's an issue, it wasn't for us but again, it might be for another family. Beds were comfortable and clean. Carpets were ok, could use a deep clean. The location is in between King's Beach and Tahoe City so it's centrally located for lots of activities. Overall, this was a great house and worked out well for our family.

When we arrived 30 minutes after checking, the home had not been cleaned from the previous renters. The cleaners came within two hours, and upon our return, we found hair left in the bathtub a dirty towel left in the master shower and put stain on one of the pillowcases. After many calls and conversations and waiting for updates, the cleaning crew came out again to clean the house. the Casa offered to refund the cleaning fee but not that nights rental see after what I felt like sleeping in a dirty home. They told us we could check out and then they would refund us. But this was the week between Christmas and New Year’s in Lake Tahoe and there’s no availability and there was a snowstorm that would not allow us to leave. This was handled so poorly from the local manager and upper management, La Casa, that we will never rent a property that has managed by the casa in the future.

Four couples were able to relax and get caught up on each other’s lives. We’ve known each other 45 years and choose a spot to gather every year or so. The Agate Rd house fit our needs perfectly. Space for multiple conversations and being all together as well. (4stars because nothing is perfect!)

Beautiful Cabin
The cabin was beautiful, close to the lake as well. As other reviews have mentioned, please consider bringing your own cleaning necessities such as kitchen towels/cloth, laundry detergent if necessary. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience and clean home. Our family enjoyed our stay!

Best Cabin
This was a wonderful place to stay! The cabin was absolutely beautiful as pictured. I am really into cleanliness, and this place was spotless. I rarely feel “at home” in a rental, but I did in this cabin! We were able to stay with our two little kids, baby and toddler, along with my parents. Each family had their own level and space. I would 100% recommend this cabin and have already been looking for dates to stay again! We had everything we needed!

Nice Tahoe house, poorly equipt
Overall the house was very comfy, clean and in a good location. There were several basic items that were missing or limited (ran out after day 1) like diswasher soap, paper towels, dish/bathroom hand towels. Also we ran into a couple of challenges in the house - both the shower water and the heat ran extremely hot or extremely cold so be warned!

It was a great winter escape. Great entertainment and kitchen upstairs where everyone could gather.

The house was exactly as pictured and described. Large home that accommodated all of us very comfortably. LOTS OF STAIRS!!! Full flight from garage to 1st floor (family room/laundry/3 beds/2baths)another full fight of stairs to 2nd floor (kitchen, living room, 1/2 bath and master bedroom/bath along with an office)we were a little nervous with small children, but it all worked out well. the snow was lovely and the weather that weekend was perfect. The house was clean. On a side note - we had to go to the store to buyer paper towels, garbage bags, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, and bath bar soap, and extra tp paper along with a sponge to wash dishes. (provided 2 garbage bags, 1 dishwasher pod)No toiletries were provided. Maybe due to covid? I don't know. Just wish we would have known ahead of time.

Beautiful home, perfect snow play yard.
This house was beautiful, clean and spacious. The yard was perfect for lots of snow play, sledding, fort building, snowman making and snowball fights. Lots of big, uncovered windows provided a breathtaking view of snow covered trees. Two TV rooms provided plenty of space to spread out. Being able to park in the garage when it was snowing was a huge plus. The only (minor) complaint is not enough bath or kitchen towels, paper towels or dishwasher pods. Also no laundry detergent. But everything else was so wonderful, I would absolutely stay again and just bring some of these items.

Carnelian Bay Home
This beautiful home was stocked for almost anything we needed without a run to the store. Clean and comfortable. We weren't given any check out instructions so hopefully we left it in good order. A definite stay again for skiing Northstar because we had a non skier who drove us to and from the slopes everyday. But it's just a short drive from the home.
