location is not bad. house size is ok
poorly maintained.
extremely dirty, dust everywhere.
insects inside the property, including cockroaches, ants, spiders, etc. I have photos.
my son and myself are allergic to dust, it was a nightmare stay in that house.
water leaks into toilet when rains heavily. the toilet floor was fully flooded in two occasions during our stay.
I had better things to do in my holiday than cleaning someone else’s house.
one of the worst value for money properties I have ever stayed.
not recommend at all.
windows and doors properly washed and cleaned inside and outside is very much overdue.

quiet location
sparsely furnished- one 3-seat sofa only, 4 dining chairs. only 1 hand towel between us all. 1 bath mat. old dish sponge which we threw out. Rain came through ceiling and flooded toilet so we had to mop up with towels before we could use toilet. lucky we had showered and were leaving next day. same door code used for other visitors so lack of security! windows need cleaning. verandah needs a good sweep. place could be good with some TLC and more furniture and fix roof.

It's very cozy, spacious and good location.
there is no mirror in the bathroom.

Location ok. Beds comfortable
Towels had stains on them, could be a great house but sparsely furnished, linen needs to be commercially laundered and more attention to detail as far as cleanliness and presentation. Very untidy outside. Expected more for price. Flatscreen TV but not even Freeview so you need to log into Netflix etc

Cob webs everywhere and section and gardens were terrible

We were allowed to enter 45 mins earlier than scheduled.
The house is not suitable for domestics tourists. It was like a bad student flat. It should not be out up on this website. The house was sparsely furnished - one sofa for 6 people. The dinning room table was in an empty room with only 4 chairs. There was no mirror. The house had a basic lean but there were cob webs in the toilet and bathroom. The kitchen bin had black mould in it. There were broken pots outside the font door. The driveway was narrow and could not open the car doors. The path to the house has undecane surface nod full of debris. The garden was unkept. There was no hosting material available.

The beds were comfortable
Oven did not work. Dishwasher did not work. Power points did not work.
Bedroom door jammed shut and could not be opened from the inside.
Cupboard doors were broken.
TV reception was variable thanks to manual aerial.
One teaspoon in whole kitchen!
Located under main flight path for Rotorua Airport.
Plenty of spiders (and cobwebs) and a large cockroach that fell on the kids bed at 1am!

The location was great - really handy to the forest which was good when we wanted to return to the tree walk and go for a quick run with the kids. Good space in the house for the 4 of us to stretch out and good heating.
The kitchen was minimally equipped - we often went to grab a bigger bowl or another utensil while working in it and they weren't there, and there was no dishcloth/cleaning cloths to wipe benches down. Also unfortunately both the oven and dishwasher did not work, so we didn't wind up cooking much - and one of the reasons we chose a house over a hotel was that we could cook some meals. Only one couch in the lounge got a bit cozy when 4 of us were trying to watch TV. Would have been good to have a dryer for wet togs/gear.

3 bedrooms, clean bed sheets, hot water
Uncared for, dated and not clean.
Kitchen: the most meanest basic set up possible. Broken cupboard door sitting inside cupboard, oven never worked (never got fixed), dishwasher out of order (I noticed this had been the same weeks ago in the web pics so they’ve just never fixed it). Not enough of anything - pots, cutlery. One teaspoon. Dishes were dirty.
Bathroom: crayon marks (?) in the bath, cobwebs. Shower was fine.
Bedrooms: clean linen (otherwise would have left)
Laundry: functional but a walk through overgrown garden to a out house which was unfinished and smelly.

The house is on a very quiet street, a short cycle away from the Redwoods and down the road from the Fresh Choice and Pizza Hut. It is spacious, comfortable, light and clean, with some quirky decorations. The bedrooms are a decent size and we all had two good nights' sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed - pots, pans, utensils, a large fridge and oven, and gas hobs. We spent a day mountain biking, and it was nice to come home to a cosy house and snuggle up in front of Netflix. There was also a laundry room at the back of the house, so we were able to wash our cycling kit before heading home. The hosts were quick at responding and reasonable people; we were coming down for a running event which got cancelled due to Covid-19, and they kindly let us reduce our stay from 3 nights to 2 without any issues.
Everything was great, and exceeded expectations. Although it makes check-in and check-out so easy, one small point was that it was quite tricky to use the electronic key pad to get into the house, as the touch screen wasn't very sensitive. The only thing that was missing was a cafetière or something to make coffee in, but that's just a small detail.

location was great as we have friends that live nearby, the size of house and good and roomy with a genrous size back yard for the kids to run around.
Mirrors! there were mirrors lacking at least one full sized mirror would be nice, also the ducted heating/filters overdue for a clean very dusty. Also some outdoor furniture would be nice to make use of the great outdoor area.
