An ideal location for a reunion of five couples. Good walking with various pubs to visit. One or two minor issues such as lights above bathroom mirrors did not seem to work and the kitchen mixer tap was missing a hot water lever. Bedrooms very comfortable.

Lovely property in good location and very comfy beds.

We booked Milton House via Stay Cotswolds and found them very helpful, particularly the website which enabled us to plan our stay and get to know the house in advance, allowing us to allocate bedrooms etc beforehand.
We then dealt with Andrew, the housekeeper, who was very helpful and flexible regarding the various logistics, and was warm and welcoming.
All our family loved the house - the layout, space, modern bathrooms, really well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting rooms with cosy woodburners and the very light and airy conservatory dining area. The children loved the playroom, with toys and books thoughtfully provided by the owners, and there was a delightful, enclosed garden, which the children and our dog took full advantage of!
On top of that, Milton House is located in the picturesque village of Bledington, with a fantastic Cotswolds pub and farm shop, which provided great coffee, within easy walking distance. Lots of lovely walks in the area, and swings outside the pub on the village green for the little ones.
In summary, a perfect house and location for our family reunion, and everyone wants to return next year!

Stayed at Milton House over Easter - it’s well equipped and the village is lovely; not far from many Cotswold towns so plenty to do. The house is old which was fine with most of us but my parents who are in their 80s found it chilly! The kitchen has everything you need and with a couple of lounges and a playroom there are plenty of places to sit! Could have done with keys for bathrooms - had to develop a system of shoes being left outside doors so no one barged in when in the shower or on the loo!

We hired Milton House for a family weekend away and couldn’t have asked for a better property. Lots of space and the kitchen is so well equipped with everything you could need. Even though it is only street parking, it was no issue at all with the space on the street right outside the house.
The village is beautiful, the local shop is a little expensive but very useful and the local pub is excellent, a very nice pint and the Sunday roast was a wow.!!

Great place to stay with family friends and dog ....we also has a 2 year old with us who enjoyed the space .
Kitchen very well equipped...plenty of seating and eating areas
Garden great for small children and dogs .
Fabulous pub in village and local shop/ cafe .
Lovely walks very close .
Unfortunately had one of cars damaged whilst staying which was quite bizarre and apparently very uncommon

A large house providing a get together for a group of friends. The house has six double bedrooms, over two floors, each floor having one bathroom, with another on the ground floor. All didn’t have any locks, bizarre, so make sure everyone knows this! The stairs are smaller than normal and steeper, so not ideal for all age groups. The location is good for the Cotswolds and the village pub, a 200m walk away is excellent. On street parking, which caused no issues.

Our family of 10 adults had an enjoyable stay at Milton house which is spacious and has a lovely warm feel to it.
The kitchen is very well equipped and the adjacent dining room is a light and airy space to congregate. Doors to the garden lead off this room and the area was ideal for our dog to mooch around. A quiet, peaceful haven.
We recommend the local pub which served good food and is just a short walk away.
There were a few issues whilst we were there which the owner kindly sorted out.
A couple of suggestions:
A rubber mat would be a safety precaution for the 1st floor shower as it is very slippy.
Locks would be good on the bathroom doors.

Brilliant house for 6 couples. Spotless and plenty of kitchen equipment. Great pub just round the corner

We stayed in Milton House for a 60th birthday with family and friends. Extremely well stocked kitchen and warming Aga and we were able to use the conservatory as a breakfast room. House was warm enough with wood burner lit despite it bring a wet and chilly January weekend. Bedrooms all large and very comfortable and 2 big bathrooms plus downstairs shower room. Had an excellent lunch at the Kings Head and had a good walk (muddy - there was a lot of flooding!) to Foxholes nature reserve.

Stayed a weekend at Milton House for a family get-together. We were ten in number and the house accommodated us comfortably. The property is practical, very well equipped, charming and with lots of space to spread out. Andrew, our contact during our stay, was readily available by phone to help with a couple of enquiries.
We're already talking about returning!

Milton House was, basically, perfect for our large family gathering! Perfect location, beautiful house full of character, incredibly well-equipped (including the kitchen with everything you could possibly want), six spacious bedrooms, plenty of room downstairs to spread out. We had four generations there and the house suited them all. We would definitely book again. Such a lovely weekend and great service from the house manager.

We had an amazing weekend in Milton House, 10 of us stayed and didn’t even utilise all the living space. We didn’t have dogs or children with us however would also be perfect place to take them.
Definitely one to put on our visit again list.

Booked the house for a family getaway and it was perfect for us! We were 10 adult and 2 children and there was more an enough space for use to move around comfortably. The kitchen was fully equipped and the kids room was stocked with so many games to entertain the kids with. The bedroom were comfortable and spacious - 2 bathrooms even have a huge bathtub ;) We were greeted with a mini welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. The whole house is beautiful with unique pieces of furniture.
The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer - Truly was a gorgeous stay!!

We enjoyed our stay in the property, Haver, there were a couple of issues. The water in the bath upstairs was so hot no one could use it. The lightbulb and the lower bath was out. OK what should I said we enjoyed your stay with comfortable and for the property was comfortable in large enough for our party of 11.

Birthday celebration
We had an excellent stay in Milton House. The house and garden were lovely, very well equipped, and more spacious than we expected. The location was great and communication with the property manager was very easy. I would certainly recommend it to others and hope to return sometime in the future.

Cotswolds Delight
Milton House is a super place for a family gathering. We were 12 adults and there was ample space with the many rooms and facilities available. The kitchen is very well equipped, there are choices of rooms in which to eat - sunny breakfast room, large dining room and we used the great garden for barbeque and evening meal. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable beds with lovely linen. Bathrooms are good with 3 showers.
Its location is situated centrally in the very pretty village and we were lucky to be there the day of the annual fete - quintessentially English! It was very easy to get to Stow-in-the-Wold and Chipping Norton. We also enjoyed local walks, including one which took us to Daylesford Organic Farmshop, cafe etc.
All round a super place.

Beautiful and spacious home
We stayed for 4 nights as a group of 3 families (6 adults, 3 toddlers and 2 babies) and the house was ideal - loads of space for us all with the multiple rooms downstairs and all the bedrooms were an excellent size with comfy king size beds, so none of us felt short changes like you sometimes can do in larger group properties.
The kitchen has everything you need and there is lots of it - so you’re never waiting for the dishwasher to finish for a glass, there are ample! There was also lots of kids plates, bowls and cups which was ideal.
The separate utility room with the full size fridge and freezer is very handy when there is a lot of you.
There is a bathroom with shower on every floor so no waiting around to get ready in the morning, and two baths on the bedroom floors for the kids baths of an evening.
The house is beautifully decorated with lots of interesting and unique pieces of furniture, really goes well with the charm of the house.
Lovely garden - the photos don’t do it justice really! The weather was kind to us so we had a bbq one night which was lovely.
Great location with lots of villages to visit nearby including Bourton on the Water and Stow in the Wold.
There is also a shop which sells hot drinks and pastries just round the corner, and around the other corner is a lovely pub with terrace garden but also the big green outside for the kids to play on.
Our host Andrew was so helpful and just generally lovely.
We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Family Get Together
We found the property easily but unfortunately the Key safe was extremely difficult to open and lock. From the outside the property ‘s appearance needed attention. The location was spot on though, with easy access to the village green and an excellent pub,
Our welcome tray of local eggs, butter etc was a great touch.
We thought the cottage was very well equipped with cutlery, crockery and utensils.
The bedding was of a good quality and the beds were comfortable, the beams in the top floor bedrooms though did prove quite hazardous at times.
Copious amounts of hot water which was very welcome and plenty of fluffy towels.
A large selection of games for children and adults too.
Plenty of space indoors.
We enjoyed the courtyard although it could do with tidying up.
We enjoyed using the Aga which was really the heart of the house.
Unfortunately there were some downsides
The top element in the oven had dropped down, this didn’t affect us but needs addressing.
A third of the bottom rack of the dishwasher couldn’t be used as the rack was incomplete.
Both manageable hiccups but for us the main disappointment was the amount of dog poo that we had to clear before using the garden. There were at least six piles of excrement. This wasn’t a good start! We have photos to show the extent of this. The stairs and landing also need a jolly good vacuum after guests with dogs have stayed. Dog hairs on our Easter eggs didn’t add to the taste!
Summing up, a great base for our Cotswold weekend, but please, please sort the dog poo issue.

Family holiday
Great place to explore the Cotswolds. The house is very well depicted in the photos and the garden is really nice. Only issues were that some of the light bulbs could do with being changed and there is a small leak in the conservatory roof when it rains hard
