We had a wonderful vacation with the whole family to celebrate our anniversary. There was plenty of room for us to be together or take time to chill out. The kids loved all the games, especially the basketball shoot. Great location too.
4.7
The house more than met our expectations. Having so much room allowed us to have some privacy when we wanted it. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.
The location was perfect for us, allowing some to go hiking, others to enjoy the activities available at the resort.
Definitely would recommend for families or groups of friends.

The house was perfectly comfortable for our group of friends and family!

It was like a home away from home ! Although there is a distinctive smell on the bottom floor of the house and second floor. A rotten eggs kind of smell. It maybe because of the fireplaces but idk. Overall everything else was okay!

The property managers were so accommodating and quickly responded to all of our inquries. The place was very clean and there was enough room for two families with plenty of hangout areas for both inside and out. Will definitely consider staying here again.

The outdoor patio was amazing. Great space to relax and enjoy each others company. House was dated and there are no TVs in any bedrooms but I think this was the point of it. It seems like it’s wants you to experience that feel of it. I enjoyed it.
4.7
Beautiful cabin, very well appointed with everything you need. Location is fantastic, close to the entrance of the resort. Older cabin but very well taken care of. When we checked in we noticed that one of the beds was tilted. I txt’d the property manager and the handyman was at out property within 15 minutes, and fixed the issue. We stayed here for my daughters graduation from JMU. If needed we would stay here again.

We had a very nice time in the home. We were able to spread out and enjoy each others company.

The house was really nice and had everything we needed! Communication with the property manager was very quick and easy, and she was happy to answer any questions and quickly remediate any issues! Overall a great experience!

We made the best of a house that looked much better in the photos that we found when we got there. The house is in need of maintenance.
Upper level storm door missing a hinge and hanging.
Door knobs in bedrooms hanging off.
Musty odor in playroom.
BBQ and cleaning utensils filthy and unusable.
Carpet in living room worn and a hazard.
The biggest complaint is something that really can’t be changed. The driveway and parking area is a complete nightmare. Parking and maneuvering in such a tight and limited area was both difficult and dangerous.

Overall, nice house and just right for our needs. Only issue was having to haul garbage away

We had a wonderful stay at the Pineapple Lodge. It easily accommodated our family of nine and had a lot of the comforts of home to make it a relaxed and stress-free stay. The owner has stocked the kitchen with a lot of really useful gear, so we were able to easily prepare meals. Also, the Apple TV allowed us to log into our own account and have a family movie night which was great. This property has a few worn spots and things that could use refreshing, but the value of this property cannot be beat and it was spotlessly clean. Kitchen appliances are new, tv is large and new, the grill was in great shape (and came with propane full), and the ambience of this place is wonderful. We would absolutely recommend this place for convenience, comfort, value, and a welcoming cabin vibe!

excellent fall family trip
we enjoyed our stay sincerely!
highlights:
1. great floor plan for two to three families. each floor has an individual bathroom, which helps arranging two families trip like us. no worries about who should use the master bedroom.
2. plenty of cozy and comfy corners to sit, to relax. the design of the house is very functional and artistic.
3. basement has games and TV with fireplace for kids to be "alone" and "loud". open areas on the upper floor provides board game and Lincoln logs for younger kids.
4. we had chance to enjoy the lift to go to top of the mountain. spectacular view!
5. go cart and bumpy car is another highlight for kids besides hiking.
6. quiet neighborhood. back to woods.
On top of all these, the host is just super friendly and responsive 24/7. we appreciate the advice and suggestions of activities around the area, and your fallibility!.
Overall, we enjoyed both beautiful colorful fall at Pineapple!
Will come back!

House had everything needed for family and grandparents
Great experience in the heart of the resort. No issues. Would return.

Easy access. POC communicated on first day and responded to questions promptly. Really appreciated them sending someone to clear the driveway on the day we left after overnight snowfall. One negative but it’s not really the property owners doing. We were not able to participate in many of the activities offered at Massanutten due to internal policies. Not able to purchase any tickets until 10 days out and everything was booked by then. Would be helpful to allow short term vacationers to purchase earlier.

We had a lovely stay at pineapple lodge. The kitchen albeit very small is well equipped and there are three levels of house so overall it’s very spacious. The home is a fun mix of old and new. Mid and mod. We really enjoyed our stay and Rikki was a very helpful host.
